If they stay clear of the expected MK rabble (Smoke, Noob, Baraka etc) , I could imagine a few noses out of joint... That said, if they go ahead with the Smokes and Noobs, and skip out on the Fujins, I could see a massive backlash too.

I believe he was just making a point about saying "I've got sources" only to follow it up with a vague hint that really doesn't point to anything. Telling someone "I've got sources" then "people will really love it, or really hate it" "the community will be split" etc. is not really offering any information, other than you've got sources. I'd at least offer people something to actually chew on and speculate on. We already know the community will be split, and that people will either really love it or hate it, because that's the case with everything revealed. It's never going to be unanimous and all pleasing.

Not revealing a source is perfectly understandable. It'd be down right stupid for one to start naming names, and potentially getting that person spammed or in trouble. But to give actual hints, isn't hurting anyone, and is providing actual purpose to your comments rather than just informing us that you know something that you aren't actually telling.

Hopefully that clears things up, and avoids any animosity. Regardless, I don't agree the answer is to be rude to KM. I just don't quite understand the whole thing myself.

Based on rumours I've read, I'd stab in the dark at Bo Rai Cho being the "divisive" character, which if true, is pretty lame.

But here's the thing.

As I said above, it's pointless to post that you know something, and then follow it up with "some will like what is revealed, some won't". I mean, Kenshi Master even stated "I'd rather not deal with the bullshit.". If that's the case, then why even comment at all if the most you're willing to offer is that people may or may not like it.

So it begs the question, if we all know how people will react when you start making claims of sources, and you're not actually going to give hints or info...then why not save yourself said BS and just not mention anything at all?

As for naming sources, nobody should care about that, and I don't think that was the issue people in this thread were having. I have no disrespect for KM, that should be obvious, I'm a friend, just found it a weird approach.

I don't want to know WHO gave them information. I couldn't care less. I just don't see the point in playing the "I know something you don't know" game.
