I wonder... if you don't pre-order Goro he won't show up in the roster screen, right? So they could easily wipe out the ? slot and it would still be a 24 character screen (without one slot "missing").

Or Goro is an in-disc character and will be in the roster even if you don't pre order it (unplayable, of course)?

Well now that all of my favorites are revealed, I think I'm going to be underwhelmed with the rest of the characters (Jacqui, Jax, Kenshi, Sonya). Main thing I'm looking forward to is the Launch Trailer.

It's cool that Shinnok is a playable character though, that's good. Same goes with bringing back Fatality trainer. But fuck that fatality music. It's getting annoying as hell to hear. Especially when Raiden is always the fucking victim.

Same can be applied towards those who bitched about Raiden's role in MK9 in the first place.

That's cool that they got the record opponent's move to work & the fact that you can switch variations during practice, which I hope those two incompetent buffoons should rely on for the following kombat kasts, concerning newly revealed characters. I'm probably expecting them to fatality Raiden as well in order to further along the trend of appealing to the haters.

& congrats for Tyler winning the 2-out-of-3. But still, Fuck Ermac. That fatality has reached Scorpion's "Split Decision" fatality tier of redundancy.

Let's not forget that all the characters that died in MK9 also died in Armageddon so this Raiden hate is not only completely invalid but also overkill by a few years. Not only that but half of the good guys that died are back anyway

The continuous abuse of "hashtag this", and "booyah that" ALL THE FLIPPIN TIME truly tests my patience. I'm excited for the game as if i was 14 years old but come on!

That and making the characters seem unappealing by having terribly bored people to demo the variations. They were whispering the information as well! Be clear damn it! (especially the curly hair one)

The previous kombat kast had a cleaner character breakdown thanks to that tournament player guy. Oh and Dan Forden was a nice bloke as always.

I think I haven't laughed this much watching a Kombat Kast up until this one. I thoroughly enjoyed.

I don't get why so many people don't like Derek and Tyler. Derek is hilarious with all the stuff he says. HASHTAG! Haha. Tyler just looks goofy and fun. They're both very entertaining and make the Kombat Kast fun.

I feel the reason many people don't find them likeable/funny is because their "humor" if it can be called that, seems targeted at younger kids. At least that's my impression.

Well, I'm not really impressed with Erron Black. He's definitely a memorable new character, but his voice, design, and moves just don't do it for me.

I'm actually really damn surprised by Liu Kang. He has Shang's double and triple straight fireball?! Oh snap! And that Dualist holy/dark projectile variation looks fun. I may actually use him a bit in this game. Very good.


Shinnok! ....For an evil fallen god who rules hell, your ground fireballs sure are sparkly and purty. :P Interesting that his are close-to-far as opposed to Shang Tsung's far-to-close. Fuck yo' jump-ins!

I like Imposter. It's fun to use your opponent's moves against them. It wasn't shown in action, but apparently his Imposter variation has "Air Tricky Portal" as a variation exclusive....which implies he has a ground-only "Tricky Portal" as part of his base moveset? Command is (down, up) like Raiden's teleport. Just a teleport, or a teleport attack like his move in Armageddon?

Bone Shaper is basically Shinnoquaman. I didn't see something like this coming, and I'm honestly not really a fan of it. Won't be using this one.

Necromancer. Having actual bone hands/wrists on him looks so off, definitely would've liked a different visual cue. But I love his skeletal grab n' shake and THE FLICK! LOL.
