Maybe but ed and Co time and time again have shown they don't give a spec of care for post trilogy people besides quan and Kenshi. Why would they care now when they have even more reason to forget them with new characters? even li mei has been in more games than Fujin if you discount Armageddon because everyone was in.

Well 1) Raiden is not long for this world. 2) Fujin is active in the comics and not dead, and was actively revived. 3) He was almost DLC last time around.

His chances are honestly on par with Kenshi and Bo Rai Cho at this point. Kenshi is a developer favorite and is active in the comics. Fujin was almost DLC last time and is active in the comics. Bo Rai Cho was shown off in several endings for MK9 and is active in the web series.

I would honestly say those 3 are the front-runners for the post Trilogy cast.

Why can't they just announce post-MK3 characters or new characters already? I'm getting sick of just the old characters. Give us characters like Fujin, Kai, Tanya, Reiko, and Havik, to name some.

Seriously. Jax could just be a brief challenger tower level, like Cyrax is rumored to be. I swear people on this site are fucking crazy about jumping to conclusions. Same goes for every character shown in the comic, especially the new ones.

And the bow guy not only looks different from the image Boon hinted at, but he looks like one of Kotal's soldiers when the video briefly shows them marching down a street of some kind. I'm guessing he'll be used like the generic Tarkatans of MK9's challenger tower.

Completely true. Perhaps these "Klassic" DLC kombatants could include the likes of Jax.

these fucking videos... stupid hype. i don't see mileena but i did catch the dude aiming a bow. so much good stuff in there, the towers look legit. kitana using jades weapon is weird but it makes sense. Jade is probably a big part of her story still even though she's not playable. Nobody dies in the mk universe except mk4 characters.

Kitana has a very dark look going on, yet beautiful. She looks amazing!


I'll be honest, at 1st I was repulsed by the idea of one of Kitana's variations wasted for Jade. I'm somewhat of a fan of Jade but why was she taking one of the Princess's variations? It didn't seem fair when I first found out about this.

However, the idea of Kitana honoring her real sister Jade is touching. I love the concept of Kitana missing her friend so much that she uses her weapon.

We haven't seen much from that Mourning Variation but IF it still feels like Kitana, I'll be happy with it. If it feels like you're using Jade not Kitana, than I'l be annoyed. This variation needs to feel like Kitana even if she is using Jade's weapon. Kitana should have all her classic specials with this variation.
