I'm feeling a lot of emotions and the only way to describe the inner mesh of them all is this. (Oh, yeah. Not all these emotions are good. )

Am I the only one that is excited about arcade Choose Your Destiny Towers? Shit got me so HYPED.

The characters on the tower all have this goldish tint on them like they're supposed to be statues.

Yeah I've been waiting for the return of Choose Your Destiny for a long time. Very pleased to see it return.

The only thing about this trailer I hate is the fact that non-revealed characters are shown in it. It takes away the mystique and the unknown of what it is going to come. For example if Sonya is to be revealed then it my reaction would be:

"Hey, it is Sonya. About time since we saw her from the factions trailer"

When it should be:

"OMG! It is Sonya!!!!"

It also takes away from the fact that the video was supposed to highlight the faction mechanic not characters. The fact that people are fastidiously studying blurry pixelated mess just proves this point.

In my opinion the trailer could have been handled better if it were not for these details.

The game is looking fantastic though. The budget must have big considering how polished and proffessional the presentation looks.

I just got to thinking with all this Sonya/Cassie talk... And I realize this may be an unpopular notion. I don't really like the idea myself, but...

Has anyone considered the idea that one character might be the other's alt costume?

Ala Kuma/Panda or Bi-Han/Kuai Liang?

How much have we heard about Cassie's moveset? Is there anything we know she does that Sonya definitely doesn't do? Do we even know her variations? (Which could possibly also play a factor?)

Like I said, I don't even like the idea, just a thought that crossed my mind...

Perhaps she may be like the human versions of Sektor and Cyrax in that they'll play the same (Sonya does have sunglasses in her 2011 alt) but perhaps some things will be different like a more serious personality and obviously different dialogue. I hope this doesn't ruin the chances of either of them getting alts since Sonya's not wearing her comic version outfit.

It's mostly Sonya Blade in the faction war picture! She has a necklace with her wedding ring or a ring on it instead of her dog tags as in the MKX comics! She looks a lot like her daughter, but she looks different.

They did kind of just do that in Injustice with Nightwing. Although I think it's odd that they're using it on the faction part of the video. I kind of think it's just Cassie's alt.

Kind of resembles Forest Fox. It's been sugested that Takeda would take up that mantle but the hair looks different from what he has in the comics.

I'm surprised no one mentioned baraka at the very bottom of the tower Mileenas on.

Note that these renders have a stone texture. So everyone looks white.

About this Cassie/Sonya picture... Could it be Cassie aged?

We know that the comics are before the MKX, and MKX spawns 25 years in the future. If Cassie's like 17 in the comic, in the middle of the game she would be 30-40y old??? So it can be her aged, maybe. Ed already said that we're gonna see some newer and older versions of characters (idk if we was talking about a character in the 1 year of MKX and then at the 25 year time mark or talking about veterans and newcomers tho)
