Um I thought Shao was killed and taken by the Elder Gods for judgment? Who said his soul would just automatically go into Ermac? If that happens, those Elder Gods must be really incompetent.

For all we know that could have been the reason Kahn created him.

I wouldn't put it above Kahn to get Tsung or somebody to use some crazy magic on his soul prior to death to make it so just in case he were to die, his soul would be directly transferred into Ermac instead of going to the Netherrealm or to the Elder Gods for judgment

This whole alternate costume and dialogue got me thinking...

What if we are seeing Raiden's alternate costume and that over the course of the game (or comic), the Kamidogu will corrupt him into becoming Dark Raiden again (which would be his primary costume). Hence why him calling out Kung Lao on failing would make sense.

Well we have seen an alternate costume. Remember Reptile in the comic ?, totaly different costume. So maybe the one in the game is his alternate.

I think who is using alternate costume is Ermac.

I think a lot of these costumes are actually the alt costumes, think that way they can reveal without revealing in a way.

This reveal has me so hype! I'm really REALLY leaning towards SZ being Bi-Han after this new dialogue and you know what? I love the idea of Bi-Han retaking the mantel of Sub-Zero again, bring in Kuai Liang, make him play different from his brother and name him Tundra!

Hey Reptile and Kitana fans! I know they were mainly focusing on Ermac today, but they still could of matched him up against anyone... seems like Reptile and Kitana have something in their intros that is important to the story!

We may finally see Reptile get a fleshed out role more so than JUST being a lackey this time around! Hope so!

I really REALLY want to know wth is going on this time around... I mean shit just sees to be hectic and all over the place!

Kung Lao (undead/main)

Cassie (straight hair for main)
Ermac ( the reaper look will be his main, hopefully)
Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang for main) (this Sub/alt has, no scar).

Not sure about Kotal, D'Vorah and Ferra/Torr.

I expect Sub's alt (one of them) will be his cool scarred costume from the comics. That's prolly the main and this one is an alt, Bi-Han.

Eh, I really wish they kept whatever we have now as defaults and just add the alternatives as secondary costumes, but that's just me.

I was thinking that too, but idk... I kind of would like them to just set who the new SZ is and be done with all that lol.
