Wow, I sure disagree with most of your mentions, in particularly your opinions over Raydens MKDA alt and both of Shang Tsungs beautiful costumes. Same with Smokes elemental form.
Anyway, here are the worst costumes for me (in no particular order):
Mokap:
Yeah, I know that’s how he is supposed to look but his costume is just bad.
Sub-Zeroas MKD alt
Horrible, horrible look. Like I have said, an insult to his character. Being old in MKDA made me go a bit yack at first (it shocked me), but then I rapidly changed my mind because his matured look was perfect not only story wise, but it set him apart from the boring ninja style. But THIS went way too far, and imo, sucked, badly.
Kitana Primary in MKA
This was her alt in MKDA and still blows. People made a big deal about Li Mei supposedly stealing Mileenas colors when she looked nothing like her at all, but this was a hell of a lot worst for obvious reasons, in Kitana. In MKA it seems they made it primary, which sucks. (Though I do love those black things that cover her legs and bust, looks very classy imo, too bad the outfit isn’t blue blue)
Hotarus MKA/D alt
Well, it just looks....bad. Ugly maybe?. I just don’t like it. His primary ROCKS though, now that was fantastic! His red flags are what make him so special among other things. That outfit is, overall, perfect.
Jax:
This costume only sucks because it’s a stereotype. But overall, it looks ok I guess. Its not that bad, but I just wish it wasn’t used for Jax...or anyone for that matter. Because the outfit itself is ok, its just that it feels un-suiting for any character.
Fujins Costumes
They don’t look bad, but they just look too simple and plain, almost a tad boring. The only awesome thing about this is Fujins hair...They are ok, but just way too simple/boring.
Darrius Alt
This......is a lot worse then Jax alt in every “stereotyped” possible way. Yes, it was a tribute to I don’t know who....but its horrible, very very horrible for a character that seemed so serious, etc. It kills the persona. Anyway, it has no place in mk. Awful costume in all possible aspects.
Kai
What where they thinking? Kais new hair style and all that looks horrible!!! And I really hate that his white-lines are (for some weird reason) lesser or less visible. They looked more prominent in Mk4.. His primary OUTFIT looks cool though.
Kung Laos MKA alt
The one without the hat...its just like Fujins, it looks plain and uninspired.
Hsu Haos MKA Alt
Not much difference from his primary, and he looks better with the hat, so this one isn’t really that good. Kind of uninspired for me.
Quan Chi MKA Alt
I LOVE his Mk4 look, but in here...theres something so wrong with the size of his head. Looks weird. And too skinny built if you ask me. He looked morbid in MK4.
Raydens MKA Alt
NOT that’s its horrible, no, it looks good imo...the problem is, his MKDA alt (same version but when he was what we call “light-Rayden”) looks so so so much better. So cool with that Christopher Lambert aura....very awesome. His MKA alt isn’t even close to being that cool..
SPECIAL REASONS: Ashrahs Alt in MKA
For me, this is a very pretty costume and I do like it, very much. But I list it here because it was a disappointment to see a covered female in her cool primary, almost naked in her alt.
SPECIAL REASONS: Li Meis Primary in MKA/MKD
Same thing as Ashrahs, the half naked costume is, imo, very pretty and looks great, I LOVE the bandana she uses in her head, gives her a sweet gypsy style, but the problem is, her MKDA primary should had NEVER been taken out. That outfit was classy, beautiful and very distinct. Sure her boobs were popping out, but the general costume was exquisite. Too bad they went for this half naked outfit instead of the more covered one with flowers. That one was beautiful.
SPECIAL REASONS: Frosts alt in MKA
Again, like the two girls above, this outfit is very pretty and suits her nicely. I really like it! But she did look very cool covered up and not, like all the other girls but Sonya, half naked.
Sareenas MKA alt
I think its this one, feels so uninspired.
Sheevas MKA alt
The costume is cool despite being sooooooooo simple because it’s a tribute to her MK3 look, the huge problem is: her primary looks like an improved version of the Mk3 one, so this one feels unnecessary, and, of course, the hair. It works well with her primaey, but in her alt.....if it’s a tribute to Mk3 Sheeva, it SHOULD had been different.
Blaze in MKDA
Just......uninspired, simple, and nothing special.
Motaros Tail and face
The primary is ok, the alt is FANTASTIC, but the problem I have is that his face doesn’t look as awesome as in MKT, and his tail is just garbage. Instead of being as slick, long and deadly a as whip, it looks fat and ugly.
Onaga
After all the awesome hype in MKDA...that’s how the big bad real emperor looks like????.....Its not horrible, but it sure was a horrible disappointment. One would had expected much more from this gigantic evil threat. The main problem is...that he doesn’t really strike as that powerful, evil and original...the way Kahn and Tsung did.
Goros MKA Alt
Theres something missing to make this outfit look great. I like it that it takes Goro into a new look and direction, but....something feels empty or rushed.
Kintaro
Both because he doesn’t look as terrifying, big, fat, amazing as he did in MKT....this look was a horrible disappointment, specially his primary, with that pony tail....that ugly, Goro alike, unnecessary, pony tail.
