Do you think any of these changes, particularly Scorpion's, will actually make it into the game?

in retrospect of the comic book:

- do you see Kenshi's role in Scorpions turning among the lines of him freeing Ermac? If so, what might it mean for Ermac?

- Curse of the Kamidogu: shoot your loads. Does the comic imply the dagger to be one of the kamidogu?

- the new shirai-ryu. Why did they pick the Himalayas, and how do you see the process or rebuilding taking place? This implies some time after MK9, so where would you think the current NOW of MK X does take place?

Kung Lao was recently revealed, confirming that in some way he was revived. In the comic, we see Sub-Zero sporting an outfit very similar to his outfit in UMK3 and we see him get his scar. Do you think this means that the Sub-Zero in MKX is actually a revived Kuai-Liang or do you think this could still be a new Sub-Zero entirely?

In one of the interviews Kittelsen said this about the timeline:

"Our book takes place right in the middle between Mortal Kombat 9 and Mortal Kombat X, about 15 years into that 25 year timeline"

With the weekly comic books now it feels like rain after long sultry drouth. Also I guess the character reveals will become more frequent. So you, guys, will have a lot to talk about. I'm sure about that.

Maybe I'll ask you to speculate for a couple of minutes who the new big boss is. We know it's going to be "a surprising return character", but who's he? Or "she"! Could it be that for the first time in MK's history we'll have a... female boss?

I'd love you guys to discuss some of the different species of Mk lore and which would be the most exciting to explore culturally.

The Shokan-do they have vast armies-1/3 of the Shokans we know are female so are female shoakans given equal status? Are there many sub species ala Kintaro

Are they naturally war loving, power hungry, or were they forced to fight for Shao Kahn. Didn't they sign a peace treaty with Kitana in Mk Gold. that shows some strong character development.

I'd love their rivalry with the centaurs to be explored some more to with similar questions on the centaur race explored

Also the Tarkatans, Saurans, Vampires....will we see these races explored more in the future and do we want this

Scorpion definitely looks like a human again, but we saw him envelope his hands in a flame before taking out you know who, along with Takeda calling him a Wraith, this to me hints he still has his Spectre powers, also to note Kenshi says:

"Hanzo conquered Scorpion years ago"

What do you think that means exactly?

Is Scorpion just Hanzo while tapping into his Spectre powers? Or is it more complex that that, possibly a being that possesses Hanzo, or some sort of alter ego?

This has some sort of rough placement.

Do you guys feel that Sub Zero is being cursed now, since his eyes are glowing red when he is being cut with the blade?

Do you feel that we could finally have a true turn in the scorpion vs sub zero revenge story arc? The fight intros we have seen between them make me think all this comic stuff, while awesome, could simply lead to the same boring revenge story.

I feel already like this little comic has done more for MK's story than the games have for years. Damn exciting time for fans!

I don't always agree with Razor's loyalty to the original canon but I 100% agree that Onaga is pretty badass and shouldn't be abandoned. I hate all things Blaze and all things Armageddon though and was not really impressed with the Taven / Daegon plot. I agree with BlackCyborg though in that Onaga as being your cookie cutter villain is pretty underwhelming, especially in a reboot. If they downplay and retool the One Being stuff I still think Onaga can work. The Reptile gimmick is dumb though. That being said, I don't want to see Onaga as the big bad in MKX. I'm all about moving forward and telling brand new stories.

I'm fucking dying laughing at the part where Django's phone goes off after so much random shit and he's like what the fuck is happening LOL

Good stuff with the episode. All around awesome comic discussion and I definitely agree with Reptile that he deserves a comeback after getting shit on so many times. I would also love to see the purple pants MK4 costume again. That was probably my favorite Reptile costume, it was really original compared to his other alts.

Oh and Django, you're absolutely hilarious as a guest. Made me laugh many times

Can we have Django as a regular? Fucking awesome guest appearance, stole the show! And a link to his amazing work on the MK music would be great, if its still about! I absolutely agree about Reptile. For far too long he has been neglected and screwed over. He really deserves to shine in MKX.

We already have 4 regulars, which can feel crowded at times as is. But yes, he'll certainly be invited back on in the future.

I don't drink, so it's just coke for me, but maybe they'll follow ur suggestion lol.
