I totally Ignore if there is already a Thread about this, But here we go!
(NOTE : If there is already a Threat about it , no problem, site admins can delete this one)

I was wondering if anybody had information to share with us about the gameplay of Mortal Kombat 8 and other, Will it keep going like amrageddon and deception? or might it become completly Different ?

The only info about MK8 gameplay is what Ed boon said in an interview,he said that MK8 will use a totally new engine built from the ground up,so forget about the old engine used in the last three games.

Your title is misleading to your thread, I suggest re-wording it. It sounds as if you have solid information on gameplay first hand before someone clicks on the thread.

1. Use movie choreography as a core motivation for "action components". Site classic martial arts films, new and old. Current day action, and horror movie heroes....ect

2. Speed it back up to something close to MK3-Ts' tempo, or just put the possibility of Running back in the game. Make it at least look like they're Running fast too...gets people excited to see a person running for a purpose.

3. Elaborate on what was there before 3D happened, by allowing reversals(on at least throws), life-like parrying (if there is weapon use), counter attacks(practically block an attack, then strike immediately after being attacked), and implement more ground or "faced backwards to your opponent" fighting possibilities....if not exactly that, then something similar and adequate to all that respect.

4. Make the characters "grow up" in skill. Which means new special moves based on what they had before. Base it on, or violate what science tells us is possible....Nothing illogical here. Because practically, people learn new things through what they have already been doing. So should the learning curve on playing the game do this.....so should the characters mature in their craft.

5. Almost Maximize the Mature Rating. Actually go do this....go run, really fast, and throw a punch at something. lol Pretty brutal and violent stuff is what would happen to a person if you connected with that punch, right?

Well now, lift someone with your bare hands and throw them...use someones fierce momentum against them and throw them......pull a full grown person by a rope really quickly.....or use your body as if you actually could throw a fire ball, or electricity...or whatever other special ability you can think of. MK2-T did this extremely well for most of the characters..

Note how the power would come from your body and how you would throw it, and how much of your body you would actually use to perform such a "special ability" if you had it.

No "nudity". Go with "provocative" or "sexy" the way they have been. Mileena is the staple for the limit.

Max out on brutality, gruesome-ism, and graphically violent behavior. Ease off of gore just a tad, and substitute that for clever brutality and gruesome-ism. Go for "sting", go for "dramatic death", go for "suave or cinematic kill".

6. Make "where you hit the body" more specific. "Pixel space vs Opportunity vs the Response of your opponent". Bit rate, Point of contact, and all that jargen.

7. Tone down aerial fighting. No more silly "stuck in the air" fighting. Should be "get out of the air" possibilities.

8. Animate Everything//Work the Camera. Practice makes perfect... BUT, concentrate on the fighting animations. If I am blocking high punches, and some prick hits me with exactly a high punch any-way!?!......Just because either the camera couldn't catch up, or the animation has a hole in the way I moved some-where, I swear the game is a frisby!

9. 3D, interactive Arenas...for only a couple of them. What If I wanna kick some dirt on a guy like what happens in baseball(throw some dirt in your eyes for a stun move, eh?)? What if I wanna climb, or jump on or off of something eh? What If I wanna use the curtains or pictures on the wall to help me win? eh? EH!?

Let me be clear though, I would not like to just pick up something and hold on to it. We should just have "possible" projectiles" in the arenas. After you throw them, that's it. They break or fly off the arena and are unusable anymore. Maybe three max, per arena

Also, let me go up into a crowd and fight my opponent, AND fend the crowd off. "Bar Fight-like", with everybody fighting and flying all over the place because their seating//viewing of the fight has been interrupted.

10. Let the arena "die" during a fatality, I wouldn't dare "black the background" again like they did before. Death becomes the arena. Site Silent Hill when the girl gets her skin ripped off....That's the stuff.
