Noob Saibot is the stupidest character ever, with the stupidest name ever... I prefer to pretend he doesn't exist.
Smoke is great I liked Smoke in MK2 when he was a secret character. I prefer his human form to his Robotic form but in Deception I hardly recognize his human form unfortunately so I hate his alt.

dude noob saibot is wicked the awsome and hismoves are ok and him and smoke go 2 gether and smoke is wicked he kan kick ass and his fatality is kool and his moves r better than noob but i like noob better
Noob Saibot turned out to be the bigegst suprise of the MK saga. He's the original Sub-Zero from MK1. Well, I kinda like the sound of his name (Tobias Boon backwards) and his look is good, no the best, but definitely more unique than his previous ones. From a no-story-concept character he evolved into one of the most feared assailants of MK.
Smoke-I liked the idea of the third LK cyborg. He wasn't realy original as a Scorpion ripoff, but in MKD he ownes everyone who's just lame gameplay wise. Good story, good idea with the restructuring of his body, and the tain Saibot left on him.
I really don't care about the tag team. Should they go separate or stay together, I will like them both very much! I cant think of nothing else that would be important, but I will be sure to post another Noob/Smoke thing.
We'll see...

He doesn't have a human form in MK: Deception. He has the cyborg form in his primary costume and the ethereal form in his alternate costume.
Regarding Noob Saibot, whether you like it or not, he's very important to the storyline which I'll discuss after I talk about Kenshi and Darrius.
Kenshi
I really like Kenshi and I still think he has a lot of potential. He is a bit reminiscent of DareDevil which I don't mind at all. I really like his look. It's very MK-ish, imo. His storyline in MK: Deadly Alliance wasn't that bad. It wasn't the biggest nor was it one of the more significant ones, but I thought it was pretty cool nonetheless despite it being revenge based. He seemed to have been a bit of an egomaniac by traveling through Japan, challenging the best swordsman and beating them to prove that he's the best. With Shang Tsung gone, Kenshi's quest for vengence ended. I like that Kenshi and Sub-Zero sort of teamed up since that's what I wanted. He didn't have too much of a storyline in MK: Deception which disappointed me a bit. However, I think a lot more can be done with him in terms of his storyline. I'm glad that he's in MK and I hope he'll come back in MK7.
Fighting wise, he's one of the harder characters to master. I feel that Tai Chi Chuan needs to be revamped so that it can feel and be faster and more fluid. It seems to be more on the short ranged side in both MK: DA and MK: D. San Shou and Judo aren't that good of choices for him, imo. Perhaps if he had Aikido, he'd be better. The Katana in MK: DA was exactly like Scorpion's Ninja Sword in terms of stance, moves, and combos. In MK: D, they changed it quite a bit and I find it harder to use. His special moves are cool and I want to point out something. The sword of his ancestors endowed him with powers of telekinesis and such, not Ermac. Ermac taught Kenshi the Telekinetic Slam. I love Kenshi's get-up animation. When it comes to fatalities, I only saw his first fatality where he stretches the opponent and I think it's pretty cool. I was disappointed in his Hara-Kiri though. I find it to be the worst one out of the ones I've seen.
Overall, I think he's great but more can be done with him.
Darrius
I'm not a big fan of this character, but he's not that bad. I like his primary costume. His alternate costume is kind of silly looking with the afro and the orange pants, but that's meant to pay homage to the martial artist who played in Enter the Dragon. I forgot his name. I think it's cool that they did that I guess. His storyline is one that is kind of closed in, imo. Havik, Dairou, and Darrius are pretty much the only other MK characters that he's connected to in the storyline unless you also want to count Shujinko in the Konquest mode.
Fighting wise, he's actually pretty good. I don't use him that much, but when I do, I usually stick to Shinto Ryu Leopard doesn't suit him, imo, and it's too weak and close ranged as well. Gauntlets is not too bad either. His specials are ok. I like both of his fatalities though.
Overall, he's kind of an iffy characters in terms of "Do I want him to see him in the next MK?". I guess that's a matter of how the main storyline to MK7 will go in its direction and what they'll do with Darrius' storyline.
Noob-Smoke
Noob-Smoke is one of my top characters in MK: D. At first, I thought the tag team idea was odd, but eventually, I grew to like the idea. However, I want them to be separate fighters in MK7. Noob's storyline is interesting, very interesting...especially with Noob-Smoke's ending which reveals quite a bit. I'm really glad that they brought back Noob Saibot and Smoke. I like both of their costumes, especially Smoke's alternate costume. Noob Saibot is important to the storyline because of his backstory in his days as a human in which he defeated the 4 elementals which led to Quan Chi taking Shinnok's amulet and making duplicates of the amulet to trick Raiden and Shinnok. Shinnok's amulet is very important in combining the 6 Kamidogu. I'm sure Noob Saibot and Sub-Zero will be huge rivals of each other in the next MK game. Noob will also have to worry about Ashrah. I wonder what will become of Smoke. I'd like to see both him and Noob in the next MK game. Perhaps he'll somehow regain control of himself and turn on Noob Saibot. Maybe the evil energies of the Netherrealm will change him into a cyborg demon.
Fighting wise, they are great. They are very deadly and sneaky. However, they have some problems, especially Noob Saibot.
Both Monkey and Mi Tzu need to be faster and more fluid. I prefer Mi Tzu though I get pissed off at times when I try to do the Deadly Foes combo (1, 2, 4, CS, 1) but instead do the 1, 1 combo which has bad recovery time as well as rigidness.
Smoke's Stinky Cloud is a great move and I'm glad he also has the Teleport Uppercut which is called the Smokeycut in this game. I wish he had the Invisibility move he had in MKT. His throw is great. Noob's throw move is great as well but I wish he had more special moves like his Clone Throw, No Block Ball, and especially, the Teleport Slam. If he had those as well as improvements in Monkey, he'd be much better. The tag team moves are good though.
As separate characters, I'd give Monkey, Gyokushin Ryu Ninpo, and Kusarigama to Noob while I'd want Smoke to have Mi Tzu, Ghost Hands, and those Crescent shaped blade weapons that were used in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
Anyway, I like Noob-Smoke and I hope to see them in MK7 as separate fighters.
I was really put off when I first heard word of Noob and Smoke being put together as a team, as Smoke is my favorite, but Noob was actually my 3rd or so most hated character in the MK myhos. That changed once we learned his ambitions, and REALLY changed once we learned his new identity.
I'm content with them, but it still bugs me that they're not their own 'complete' characters, as was originally intended. I'm still waiting for that to happen.
If they were their own characters, I'm not exactly certain what other fighting styles they should have. But as far as weapons go, I'd like to see Smoke weild some kind of double-bladed staff, and Noob should get his MK4 Scythe back. I also think Noob really needs his Teleport throw and block disabler fireball back, as he had practically nothing on his own.
And, like most Smoke fans, I really want to see him come back to humanity, team up with his former ally and friend, and whoop that older brother of his into next Tuesday.

look at mah signature, now those r sum stupid ass characters

Are you referring to yours (well there isn't any to see) or to Libra's? Either
way, quit it. Just a friendly advice.
Kabal: hmm, I hated him in MK3 becouse the others used him so many
times to wipe my ass-all of them failed the most. Kabals a very good concept. the respirators and the mask, but the hookswords own all.
In didn't like MK3 becouse it separated from the classical kung-fu fighter genre in feeling with characters like cyborgs, shamans, a police man, but the only hi-tech character besides the cyborgs who grew eventually up to the series, was Kabal.
Good idea, good fighting styles (at least in the real world) and an awesome weapon. Storyline: bad start good end. The only thing pisses me off that he seemingly killed Mavado. What in the hell..
Sonyas worst enemy has been stated as Mavado. Remeber MKDA, when they fought their greatest enemies magic replica before entering the portal? Only Sonya did not recognize her foe, which was Mavado. Maybe Sonya will show off against Mavado, but Kabal will have something to say to that. Back to him...
The only thing that is weird about Kabal is his spin. it's kinda idiotic. You dash next to the opponent and he starts spinning becouse of the speed? Lame! The buzzsaw cutter was also a horrifying idea. Hisfireball that he shoots out of his respiratory system is however awesome. Toobad his fatalities are plain shit, except for the "Kick and cut-in-half" maybe with the "Spinner" along, but in MK3-bullshit.
Curriculum: keep him. he's definitely one original character.
Oh and the judging of course: Noob Saibot Storyline-overall: 3/5 Looks-overall: 3/5 Finisher-overall: 2/5 Whole character overall: 3/5 Smoke: Storyline-overall: 2/5 (more info about him, more, more!) I think Kabal is a pretty cool character. I am glad that he was brought back and the way he was brought back wasn't through resurrection which is good. I like his costume. It's basically his MK3 look in 3D which I don't mind at all. His alternate costume isn't anything really special, imo. His storyline in this game is interesting. I thought he'd be a good guy, but I guess he went back to being a bad guy. I wonder what will become of him and the new Black Dragon in MK7.....
Fighting wise, he's pretty decent. Sun Bin is my top style for him, especially with his Art of War combo (1, 3). The highest damaging combo I can do with him does 40% damage. Goju Ryu was very disappointing to me and I'm glad Sub-Zero didn't keep that since he did have it in the earlier stages of MKD. It really needs to be revamped. Hookswords has improved quite a bit. I like it much better in this game than I did in MK: DA. Kabal has some good special moves though I only really use his Plasma blast.
I think his fatalities are pretty cool. It'd be funny if he had the two he had in MK3-MKT. lol...
Anyway, overall, I like Kabal and I hope to see him in MK7.

yes, with that kind of background story improvement he had in MKD, I'm sure he will be back-maybe not. Look at Mavado, he too was quite important.
BTW, Libra, I love your new sig, especially the Q-Bee picture.
You wanna do characters outside MKD after they all went down?

haha, sure, why not
By the way, i sent you a PM, check it out.
Anyway, back on topic. It seems everyone is dont with Kabal, lets pick another, shall we????.......Ashrah!!!!
Tanks, err, I mean Thanks
Ashrah, well she's not one of the very original fighters. Howerer she's executed very good. Story good, and only the moves and the specials concepts are what are bugging me. umm, more I cannot think up, at the moment, but I will come back her with Noob Saibot.

I like Ashrah and I hope that she'll return in MK7. She didn't have too much of a storyline though her storyline itself was unique. When I saw her bio, I was confused as to why Ermac is listed as one of her enemies and when I went to the Netherrealm in Konquest mode, I understood why. Sometime in the MK storylilne, Ermac was sent to the Netherrealm and Ashrah wanted to slay Ermac to further purify herself. She thinks/thought that Ermac is/was some kind of demon though in actuality, Ermac is a being of magic created by the fusion of many warrior souls as we know. Anyway, I like both of her costumes.
Fighting wise, I think she's pretty good. Ba Gua still needs to be revamped though at least it's much better than it was in MK: DA. Ba Gua is meant to be more of a fluid and circular style. Her specials are pretty good and I know she kind of has Kung Lao's Whirlwind Spin and Raiden's Torpedo, but I don't really mind that much. I don't use Ashrah very much so I'm not that good with her.
I like both of her fatalities a lot. Overall, I think she should stay.

Of the new MK:D characters, I think Ashrah is my favourite. Her costumes are great, and her fighting styles are good, too (I wish Kitana's Ba Gua had been as effective as Ashrah's). Her story is good, or better than most of the more recent character's, at least. Her specials are also quite effective, but a bit uninspired. Overall, I like her, and I hope she is included in future MK installments as well.
Oh, Raiden. All time fav of many gamers and the perfect ripoff of the thunder guy from BigTrouble in Little China (or whatever the movie was called) movie.
Personally I always liked him. The only japanese charater who stood in MK from the beginning. Altough a little annoying, he was cool gameplay wise. In MKDA i was suprised with the lack of teleportation adn torpedo, but the lightning dash was cool to stand up for one game.
Raidens storyline was boring. When they retconned that he was neutral and an uber-dick in MK1 (remeber his ending? he destroyed the world) and changed him into the mentor type I had a goddamn heart attack. I just loved him as a vilain, or more precisely as an uber-god.
Damn, in MKD they really did to scew him up. I just love the idea of him turning more to dictatorship, but how in the hell could he kill Shujinko in cold-blood? And of course wouldn't have Shujinko put up a fight?
The only backing line of him was his gody-goody attitude what might have worked well in the TV series or in a movie, but after MK1...well, it was crap.
BONUS: FUCKIN' GOOD HAT!
I like Raiden, but he can't compare to those like Sub-Zero, Shujinko, Bo' Rai Cho, Scorpion, well, amybe he can put up with the fat man and the Pai Mei clone

Uber-dick?? LMFAO!!!!
Ahem...anyway....lol...
Raiden has always been one of my favorite characters. I've always liked his look and his moves and stuff. Unfortunately, he never had too much of a storyline to him other than being the protector God of Earthrealm as well as a mentor and the God of Thunder and Lightning....
It was interesting how they based him off of the thunder guy from Big Trouble In Little China as well as have his name be connected to the name of the God of Thunder in Japanese mythology...
Raiden kicked ass in the MK: D intro until he got his ass kicked by the Deadly Alliance. His storyline in MK: D is awesome and I'm glad with the direction his storyline went. His new look is great. I love both costumes. His fatalities and Hara-Kiri are pretty good. I'm really glad that he has his Torpedo and Teleport back. His Nan Chuan style doesn't feel as fluid as it did in MK: DA. Jujutsu improved a little bit though it's still lacking grappling moves like throws, joint-locks, submission holds, pinning, ground fighting, etc. Staff is still pretty good.
It was interesting that his ending was done in his perspective unlike the other endings. I'm sure we'll be seeing him in MK7 and I really hope he'll be in MK7. I wonder how they'll further develop his storyline.
