Please read my original message on the first page people... it does show what the MK Team actually said. The statement "12:43 doesn't mean anything, and it is not a Bible reference" was one of them. Please read the true statements before forming these "theories" or posting advice.

perhapes they lie to keep the people guessing? he would be funny if that was the case perhapes there is no secret... i have beaten the game 100% all the konquest things are done and i have beaten the arcade mode with every one even blaze and mokap... have yet to find any thing... have heard people say that there are hidden combos or codes written on the walls and floors of some levels and that the character will look at them when you switch to fatality... but i doubt that.

that site says "unlock blaze and mokam". i think that's what he meant. it also gives codes to play as rain and shao kahn z:o.

nobody gonna find the secret (if there is one) either boon will tell us that there is one and he'll actually tell us how to do it, or he just full of it or he and his team members will take that secret to their grave. ive been playin mortal kombat games for a long time and the secrets r usally easy to find and i havent seen anything in the game that lead to have found a final sercret.

At this point I think people are tired and just want to know one way or another. Is there a final secret?

A least give us another hint.

ur right wedgegold they should give a int and probly wont until mk deception is out but they probly say how to get it or say that they tricked us to beieve there was a final secret so we would be busy with mkda. but if they do say that there is no final secret and say that they tricked us and they try to pull the same stunt with the new one no one would try to look for it cause it would be a crock of shit.

Perhaps the final secret is :
1- The identity of the Dragon king

2-Maybee youhave to beat the game w everyone in 12h 43min or play continuosly for that long like Tekken

3-Has anybody tried DULLARD as a profile name

4-Remember the Smoke MK3 intro screen button combos for SNES

finally(can't think of any thing else right now)5 try pressing down+start after uppercutting at the portal-remember the old "TOASTY!" guy (I know it was Dan Forden)

i had a thought about "Time will lead you to Saibot" whispered in the krypt. maybe you have to play the game for 10000 hours!?!?!? does anyone know if there ́s a clock in??? i remember other games having a clock and after 100 hours u recieved a secret character or so...

well, i think the best theorie is about the profile and button combos.

i just thought of something, when looking into the character profiles, kenshi's is screwed up, i looked and it said his styles were tai chi and hung gar, another thing is that "lady princess golf club" thing, the club's are section with lk103 or something like that, dont know but maybe these things might have something to do with it.

I've thought about this since last night, and can't help but post. Has anyone found it weird that you can rebuy certain koffins in The Krypt? Perhaps if you buy them in a certain order (bought or unbought?) something happens?

About the button combo... No one has suggested doing a button combo in The Krypt. What if it is only dealing with the D-Pad and you just have to move around on certain koffins?

I, myself, think the "final secret" lies in The Krypt.

yea if ya heard that that neans noobs in mk6. mk6 is aftermath of mkda so only time will tell but personally i think there is no secret anymore and i think the people who r still looking for it should give up ur gotta be shittin urself if u still think theres a final secret.

well i personally find this really stupid, its been over a year and still nothing, im just gonna email Midway and try to get some answers, im just gonna keep asking until i get it. Who knows. Ive sent emails to them and they have responded, so i guess they will reply to my emails in some way.

well, as in my post about the files on the game, i do believe that the video called TIME might have something to do with it. "TIME will lead you to SAIBOT." and i do have to thank Magician for posting such wonderful insite and comments. the video is in koffin IY.

Now this is just a theroy of mine but maybe the final secret is in 1 copy of the game on each platform. Like 1 XBOX version, 1 PS2 version, 1 GC version and 1 GBA version.

It reminds me of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory where there were only 5 golden tickets in 5 chocolate bars around the world. lol :D

So what I'm saying is that only 1 copy of the game on each platform is "Authentic". So the question is 'Who has it?' or is it still on the shelves in some country. hehehe :D

I think that the secret code would have to be an extra row of coffins with either:
- More extra characters
- More hidden videos
- More hidden levels
- A secret bout with a character who hasn't been in the games since MK3/UMK3/MKT.

Or it could be a cheat menu which lets you manipulate the game such as:
- Getting rid of the invisble walls
- Accessing old characters
- Changing things, etc

hey has anyone tried the trick that gets you the "final secret" on MKTE? I just read it the other day but I dont remember it exactly but it was this one crypt that you could rebuy after all others were bought and it was the final secret and it was just the ending credits or something..

I posted this in Moloch's Lair thread but I think it should go here. I have been goof'n around today on the game, and one thing that I found to be strange was if you go to the arcade and pick a fighter. Let it load the fight and then go back to the main menu. Quickly while it is going back press the L1, L2, R1, R2, 0, X, over and over. The screen goes dark and it lets you put the profile code in while it is still dark. Then when the main menu comes up you can scroll the dragon select up and down at the main menu while it is still accepting the load profile code. Strange. Not sure if it is anything. It may be one of the many glitches that we first think to be something special. Try it and tell me if it does it for you. I have the PS2 and not sure what the other system buttons are.

Has anyone tried ONLY opening the Koffins in the Krypt with lights above them?
I'm sure this has been discussed but I'm not about to search through dozens of "I think I know the Secret!" threads to search...

Anyone try putting in the sample code they give you when making a new profile somewhere in the game?
