I've posted this before, but it's about Moloch's Lair. When the level starts and the camera zooms out from the gate there is a shape under it that looks like an "L". There are lots of markings on the ground, I know, but this one looks like an "L" only if viewed from that certain zoom-out camera angle. Also there is a hole in the middle of the ceiling?? If you look closely through the slats on the doors in the level there are prisoners behind them, looking out at you. The last thing I noticed about the level is that the giant MK Logo looks "breakable".

Look dude, this is a site for mortal kombat fans, and it is kind of hard to separate mortal kombat from Ed Boon and vice versa. if you hate Ed Boon and think that he is a retard, why the f*ck have you registered on this site, and why do you have 750+ entries? if you don't like mk1, go play street fighter 1 instead, and don't bitch about Ed Boons capabilty as a programmer on this site.


As for this final secret, a few questions:

What is this 12:43 thing?
Could it have something to do with Moloch?
Or maybe you would have to do something like D,U,L,L,A,R,D or C,R,A,Z,Y,C,Y,R,A,X from the other games?

Gonna have to argue the fact that most 99.9% of games are unfinished. Games on PC are constantly updated, enhanced and/or patched. Games on console will always have glitches.

The issue with MK:DA is that it was always going to be an "unfinished game", but a game none the less.

MK:DA was created completely from scratch. Their main focus was building a graphics/physics/fighting engine that is the core of the game. That took longer than exepected because of, like any game, unexpected problems. It happens. Development of ANTYHING (House, games, electronics, cars, website... etc.) has these issues.

Since they cut into their budget and their time, they had to cut/modify parts of the game.

The walls in the levels OF MK:DA was not something they wanted. Now it looks like in MKD, they have the full levels they want.

I consider MK6 to be the full version of what MK5 was suposed to be.

Time to grow up and move on.

I made that thread of the letters being on the wall. It is titled "Something Noticed". I never could figure out how to use that code on the wall. The more I studied it the more it appeared to be the directional arrow button(s) on the PS2 and the X button. I don't think it is the XO buttons anymore on the wall, but more like the arrow button(s) and the X button. I do see the arrow that is directly behind the fire aswell and it points right, down the hall. I wish I could figure this out. I can keep trying and hope I get lucky. I also suspect there to be more than one secret for each of the various game platforms. Every programmer that worked on the various systems would more than likely have added their own special little easter eggs to each platform.

I tried with a digital camera and the photos came out way too dark and distorted by the pixels on the TV. Is there any other way to capture a background?

I read that someone e-mail x-play about the final secret. If everyone e-mail them, just maybe they might get boon to talk about the final secret!!


Also i posted this a long time ago, but in Konquest mode during the loading screen It shows the monk climbing the mountain. On top of the mountain is a shadow figure! Has anyone else seen this? And has anyone broke the Gem stone on Dharmin's konquest?

Has anyone figured out what "Noob Saibot Mode" in MK4 arcade does?

Anyway, I've played as Moloch using Action Replay Max, and I can say that he isn't a programmed playable character. His attacks are done by pressing a direction + a button, he has no known Fatality, and it freezes when you attempt to go to a Test Your Might or Test Your Sight...

noob saibot mode in mk4 allows you to play as noob saibot if you beaten the game as reiko and then doing the goro cheat but instead of going to shinnok you go to reiko (yeah i know this is off topic but i like to help)

I think the best way to do it is to have a video Capture card on their PC and screenshot it from there.

Has anyone tried opening all the chests without using the Koin cheat? I'm currently working on it, but it is taking forever with the Onyx and Silver Koins. Maybe that is how you get the final secret, you just can't cheat to get it

doesnt work, clean the krypt without cheats and nothing happens.

I'm working on opening ONLY the gold Koffins. It's a pain in the ass, you need like 17000 saphire Koins, I'm collecting all the Koins necessary before opening any so I can open them all at once. If nothing happens, I'm going to beat everything in the game while only opening those gold Koffins

Anyone won Arcade with every character? Or maybe won Arcade on the hardest difficulty without losing?

Try it! I dont have a Deadly Alliance game anymore so maybe this is it! make a player profile and type in a Fighters name that wasnt in mortal kombat DA and maybe they will be unlocked. i heard everyone from previous mk games are in DA im not sure about this but try it and tell me if it works.

Ok well this is my first time posting here and my first time hearing about this "Final Secret" but I think I may have a clue. In the introduction movie after Shao Kahn dies, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung take the portal on the boat to go to the Earthern Realm. While it shows the portal taking them away the narrator says "Quan CHi and Shang Tsung took a portal avaliable only to SORCERERS AND GODS." (BTW is Raiden still a god?) Anyway I also read about the thing that says "Time will lead you to Saibot." So maybe you have to get Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, or Raiden? on the boat (either one of them or 2 of them) and wait a while.... Don't know it's just my guess, someone try it I only have 1 controller =/
