Ok
I am a hardcore fan of MK, and have played all the titles(excluding those dumb level games; Sub Zero Mythologies etc) and what I would like to see is better weapon fighting, as in when one is blocking their swords w/arms, shouldn't they be getting their arms cut? Also, better specials with characters like Mavado, Kitana. I mean, c'mon! "Pretty Kick"? what's up with that? The endings shoulda been animated as in MK4, those were cool, and they could be like the Scorpion/Quan Chi fight...And much better fatalities!! Quan Chi's fatality was THE stupidest fatality I have ever seen!! Bring back friendships and Animalities too! those were cool!!!

Secrets were out before the game was out. Everything was known before MKDA hit the store shelves. A little secrecy would be nice. Also the secret characters weren't all that great either. I liked most of the fatalities, but there could of been some awesome stage fatalities, but they weren't put in the game and we spent weeks trying to figure out how to pull them off and they weren't even there... which that was unknown, but not hidden by any means. MkDeception won't have the acid pool or any of these stages probally so the oppertunity to see these stage fatalities in 3D might be gone for good or for a while... later

yeh i agree with some of the things you you didnt find great bout it i thought the fatalities were a bit of a let down, i mean for one each character had one fatality! i want them to bring back 'friendships' and 'babalities' they were pretty pointless but funny really and also 'animalities' that was a fairly good idea, it was like a third fatality really but i never got to see the animalities cos they were a bugger to pull off.

hmmm well i loved mk:da but what needs improving ? hmmm

1) abit more music but im sure thats taken care of :)

2)it was weird how some characters could do a jump kick and knock the enemy down but some could not

3)not enough special but i think thats taken care if i remember boon said hes giving most of the characters there classic moves which sounds great

4)people would love the soundtrack support for the x-box version of mk:d

5)alot more combos would be great aswell i loved doing all of kitana's combos and juggles :)

6)i know its weird but when i play the characters i notice most of them have the same voice id like them to have there own attack voices ect but other then these tiny things its the best 3d beat um up out there in a long while !!

oh and weapon struggles would be great fun to the game play!! and if u lose ur weapon you'll have to try and pick it up if u can, maybe when u get into a waepon struggle its a race to see who can imput the buttons so for example mileena is struggling with scorpion and when they start to struggle button commands will appear and who ever imputs them the quickest will when the struggle

mrbush, nem is tudod, hogy mennyire igazad van.
Kazaa sucks, because if you install it You well get a lot of viruses. I will gladly buy the PC version of MKDA if this port should ever be released!

Besides what has already been said, I would like to see stronger types of moves, or moves that send opponents flying back or do lot's of damage have some sort of a longer "defendeless" time. Like the bigger the move, the longer the time the person that executes it is opened up for a counter attack.

What was wrong with Mortal Kombat:Deadly Alliance?

I've been a MK fan since MK2(game) came out.smile
And im still a fan. When Midway started to work on MKDA i was like wooaaahhhwow compare to MK4.
But the problem with MKDA for me is that it never appeared on PC(Personal Computer)sad
Dunno why Midway dont make games for PC anymore.I know that PC piracy is very advaced today but then the game would have been more popular.
I've heard that they had ended some contract with some company that developed Midway games to PC too confused.I'm sure that it would have made half the World more happier when MKDA had come to PC.Like myself owning only a PCsad , i just can't affort a console, im only 15 years old. Few of my friends own PS2 but they say that MKDA is not cool game. They have not even seen the beauty of MK. BUT i have played it on GBA but plzzz this is not MKDA , it's more like a Dendi game for kids.At least i got a little taste of MKDA smile
I think Mortal Kombat is still the BEST fighting game in the world.I've only seen pictures and videos + GBA MKDA and i think the same waysmile.
Still i like Sub-Zero and Scorpoin!!!

P.S.I'm Very looking forward to MK3(movie) and MK:Deception what probably wont appear on PC either.

Sad story huh? lolgrin

Since I've never replied to this thread before, I will now. (Im sure Rayokka doesn't need advice now though)

Some of the things I disliked about MKDA are as follows:

The force-field barriers that surrounded the arena. In the game who put them there, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi? Also why limit one of the best aspects of MKDA (the arenas) by not extending them - although that has been addressed for MKDgrin

The repetative aspects ~ Like having Kenshi and Scorpion with the same sword attacks. Also Blaze and Mokap being copies of the other characters, I know they were late additions, but it just added to the feeling that 100% effort was not put into the game.

Having Quan Chi and Shang as selectable characters from the start takes away from their intimidation factor. They are supposed to be all powerful bosses, but when you can use them off the start (check Shinnok) it usualy gets a negative reaction from the fans.

Konquest looks exciting for MKD, as it was a bit boring in MKDA. Good concept, but it seems it has been fixed for MKDsmile

More complaints had been erased for MKD, having more classics back and having more fighters in general.

Have more secrets, where has the cheat menu gone? And clues, plus many things that spark controversy here on MKO!grin!

The fighters looked great in MKDA, the arenas were one of the best featuers, the story was pretty good and the opening FMV was fantastic - and cost $500,000 from what I've heard.

If the problems are solved then MKD is gonna be awesome.

Not enough special moves. Theres only like 2-3 special moves per person. A few characters have more, but still.... They need more special moves. In my opinion 7+ per character.

7+ is too many. 3-4 is enough IMO.

any-hoo i want the pit to come back, i have since mk4, it couldnt be that hard to make a stage where you could use a pop-up move and they land in a pit of spikes. i miss the pits

There were stage fatalities planned fot MKDA. But due to lack of time they were scrapped.

The only thing I think really needs to be fixed is the combosystem. Overall it was pretty good but, as you play konquest mode, there are some hits within combos that will not make contact. An example of a character that has those combos is Frost. I am supposed to do a combo now in konquest mode against sub-zero, but one of the punches never makes contact. Because of that I never won that round and haven't finished her conquest.
I think they really need to look at that for the next MK.

More fatalities would be cool, but isn't a priority. MK1 is one of the best MK's around and you can perform only one fatality with each character in that game.

What I really would like to see is that clothes are affected by the battles. And maybe the injuries and torn clothes last till you stop playing and not that they are healed every time you start a new battle.
I think it was cool what they did in MKDA with the faces, but they could expand it more.

I thought it was a great game but it did have its faults.

The characters move way too slow they need a dash move or something like in the old games. I also think they should allow reversals in every non weapon fighting stance.

Konquest needs to be reworked too. Learning a characters moves and combos are for practice mode they should have made it like story driven battles. Like a few missions that focus on what the character goes through during the storyline. Like lets say Subzero got in a fight withMileena and Baraka attacks him. The battle would begin with Subzero with half his like that would make it alot more interesting.

Some characters need to be redone too. Like Cyrax and Sonya were good in the past games but they are jokes in DA.

Just my thoughts
unfortunately, the ideas discussed in this thread will not be implemented in Deception.

this will have to wait until mortal kombat 7.

What disappointed me most was the speed of characters. Characters moved to slow which made the gameplay kind of awkward.

bo rai cho was just an immature fart machine. wow, that's so hilarious that he farts everytime he moves!!! good god kill him.

I was just really dissapointed with the lack of good fatalities and no stage fatalities.

and what really pissed me off is that they had all these great ideas but didn't put them in the game.

It was a huge let down when it came out, but now that the game i was hoping for is actually being made(MKD) it's not as bad as i remember. except for lei mei ugly whore.

the new characters weren't that good really and it was a slow game.

mavado was cool but all his moves are lame. the things he shoots out look so crappy and he seems like a kabal wannabe with those hookswords.
lei mei was just plain ugly, and bad.
ro bai cho is self explanatory.
and nitara is a vampirish version of sonya. lame.

frost and kenshi were really kool though. and for some reason scorpion just isn't right. His outfit is all bulky, his sword is too fucking big and looks like crap, and his fatality was really bad.

reptile looked ok at first but after a while he grea on me and i don't like him anymore. I liked his alternate mk4 outfit, if it only had a longer thing by his croch, it looked weird.

overall i'd give this game a 7.4 not that good but not that bad. It was rushed and that sucks. plus the arcade map looks like crap and the combos are hard to do in konquest mode. and everything else earlier.

im done.
