Battle System engine analysis Thread!

I guys! I'm a fighting games lover (like virtua fighter,soul calibur etc) and also a mk fan (i played every mk, armageddon too) and i'm really looking for a thread about Battle System Engine analysis because i just started mk vs dcu and i want to explore the deep Battle System.....

what am i talking about? well just nothing about "i can't do this fatality" or "i can't do this kombo challenge" etc threads......but instead a thread about a deep analysis of battle system....like:


-Frame Data of each character, with frame advantage/disadvantage on block and on hit, and also frame traps

-Guaranteed (not avoidable except for rage and breakers) Custom Combos, Juggles, Wall Bounce combos

-Pro Moves timing, tricks and how to chain them during combos

-Ukemi (wake up game) analysis with also Tech Traps (forcing the opponent to tech roll in a direction to get him trapped by a move that hits tech rolling opponents in that direction)

-good setups for some combos and some special moves

-High/Mid/Low combos analysis

-Tech Crouch/Tech Jump

etc


any like for these things? i would really like to explore the battle system with and not just talk about fatalities,kombo challenge, complains about dc characters/lesser gore/online lamers etc.

Good subject, however you'll find that the content is a bit too intimidating for most of the attendees here. That's not unusual for most MK forums though, knowledge of these things is almost taken as privileged information.

There's a few still around though. (check my sig links)

There hasn't been a recent thread like this so, congratulations on being the first since my gameplay for dummies thread.

i really think that to enjoy at 100% a fighting game, you need to exploit all these things.....maybe frame advantages/disadvantages/traps aren't for everyone.....but other things are almost not very hard to understand........while people who simply play by button smashing, will leave the fighting game after few days (like for soul calibur 4 where casual gamers who button smashes left the game few days after saying that it was an easy fighting game -_-' )
