It all depends on who makes it into the game. Though I don't want characters who are good changing to evil and evil changing to good for one game only. It's not something I would like to see with a character who can perform the way they are to all of a sudden change their attitude to something that doesn't suite them at all.

good question, but i think the mk good guys and bad guys won't switch allegiances in this one. if they're established bad, they'll be that way for this game. and vice versa.

Baraka should definitely have his own aspirations!
Reiko has a potentially similar design for shifting alliances.

I could've dealt with Kabal veering away from the Black Dragon and associated evils. Shujinko could probably improve his stock with some character adjustments that would include distancing himself from the concerns of everyone else. He's lived a lot of life.

In the context of MKvsDC and the presumed cataclysmic scale of the event, you'd have to think villains always have the capacity to form an alliance of common interest. You can't conquer/be evil in Earthrealm if there's no Earthrealm left.

If Raiden is in this game, it wouldn't surprise me to see him leave the dark side.

All the good characters turn evil or nueteral.

Nahh, I disagree with Fujin becoming evil. Raiden is boarderline evil and corrupted right now no need for both Gods to turn to the Darkside....

Fujin just needs a more serious role, let him be in charge for a while seriously.

I'd like to see Reptile be neutral. I don't see him as "a good guy"

I'd like to see Smoke not be someones bitch for once and be officially good again like he once was a friend of Sub-Zero

I'm not sure if you'd consider him "evil," but I can see Raiden being a much more positive presence in the next game. Not a nice guy, don't get me wrong, but more responsible, and a little less unstable. Although, it would be cool if Raiden was still a nutter, and Liu Kang subscribed to his dingbat newsletter.

I'm personally hoping for something interesting from the DC characters, too. A surprise ending where Superman realises in destroying Shao Kahn that he has the ability to absorb souls, and the tortured souls of Kahn's reign fly into him, corrupt the usual mild-mannered superhero, and turn him into a tyrant oppressing the realms. Or something where Bruce Wayne does some research, discovers that there are many different universes, and he succeeds in destroying the Mortal Kombat universe, Elder Gods and all, but he then decides to destroy all other universes that may pose a threat because evil runs rampant in them. Yes, Batman: Ravager of the Worlds.

I also wouldn't mind Sub-Zero becoming so powerful via the Dragon Medallion, that he becomes obsessed and corrupted by it, and a Raiden-like vision for the world. A sorcerer putting a taint on Scorpion's soul, and making him a bad-ass again could be cool. Or Scorps could just get really pissed off.

He'd turn from a good guy for MK, to a bad guy for MK IIIIFFF nobody ends up liking the game.

I can see Cyrax turn good, Smoke go back to team up with Sub-Zero (Possibly if Sub-Zero actually kills Noob) and Sektor go Shao Kahn esque evil. Like his MK Advanced Ending.
