ESRB wtf?
After a good deal of time spent with MKvcDCU, I'm really trying to figure out the seeming inconsistencies with what was edited from the game to give it a T rating.
We pretty much all know that Joker and Deathstroke have edited fatalities that don't show the opponent being shot in the head. Yet, for some reason, both Joker and Deathstroke have headshot special moves in the game, and they're both unedited.
Jax also has a fatality where he guns the opponent down in mid-air. They can't show single fatal gunshots for 2 characters, but machine gun death is ok?
It certainly can't be due to projectile head shots being fatal, since Joker's 2nd fatality clearly shows a card piecing the opponent's head, killing them. I just don't get these inconsistencies with what's censored and what isn't.
2 other things that surprised me. Deathstroke has a very grisly cinematic scene where a character is beheaded. It's only shown in silhouette, but it's still VERY questionable for a T rated game. I'm also surprised they can use the word "FATALITY" at all.
I know it was before the ESRB even existed, but I remember the SNES MK1 had to use the term "finishing bonus" when you did a fatality.

I agree on the headshot and card thing. That didn't make much sense to me, either.

I was going to bring up the same thing and I agree with the topic.

It does seem pretty dumb and random. If you want to see a head shot for the finisher, just do the gun special instead of the fatality.

Quota maybe?
"You can only have so many".....
