I would really like to know what you guys hate so much about the Deception and Deadly Alliance engine. I don't see any problems with it.

you goof, the glitches all work offline. ALL of them. all the OTGS (do you even know what that is? prolly not.) all the infnites, all the after throw glitches. all of it.

What wtflegend doesn't understand is that true fans aren't the ones who back up their favorite game no matter what. That's what a fanboy is called. A true fan will find the faults and point out each and every fault so that the game developer will change or fix it. Thats what a true fan is.

After Deception, I began to really question why I was putting up with the engine. DA was a pretty cool title, because the system was new, and you got to experience MK in full 3D, etc. Once that wore off, you saw how much the engine was lacking in a lot of fundamentals that are relatively simple to implement, but the MK team didn't have much time for that because they were busy with the awesome Chess and Puzzle kombat and.......*sigh* Konquest mode.

Obviously, MKA is going to go down the same route. Granted create-a-fighter, create-a-fatality are cool features, but that sounds like it takes a lot of work, and for the 2nd time, the engine will be lucky to get very minor gameplay changes.

Still, for all those negatives....

I've been waiting for Kai to return but if he is the guy on Liu Kang's lower left, how come he doesn't look black? Just askin, I'm freaking out over this news.

one thing that really annoyed me about deception was that the mk team released practicaly every detail about the game before its release, even if they didnt announce it all, it was released in pictures, videos etc. By the time it had come out we knew all the characters, basicly all the areans and a heap of the fatalitys and all that stuff.

and it seems to already have started with the stuff thats been released about armageddon. how much more suprised would you be if you went to play this game only knowing there was say 30 + characters, then discovering like 60, and finding new things that you didnt know about.

it would make the game better and not have people complaining about not enough hidden things because thye didnt know about the hidden stuff before the game came out.

oh well, too late now. nice one mk team.

Stryker looks GOOD!!!! YES!!! HE DOES!!! Especially his alternate costume!!! he looks like someone who jumped out of x-men the movie... but it's still cool

I just found out today and this is the best news iv'e heard in a long ass time. I always come back to this site for news on new MK games. Good to be back though.
