The lame thing about armageddon *takes dump*

was the fact that many of the characters were always evenly matched. Remember how hard it was to beat Kintaro and Shao Kahn in MK2? (haha, neither do I)

The fact of the matter is; if you want to create a darker more serious MK, then you have a certain hiearchy of difficulty.

ex1: MKDA Moloch vs. Kung Lao (Hard)

ex2: MKA Moloch vs. Kung Lao (disspicably easy)

I'm sure it won't be like Armageddon anymore. They matched everybody up in MK:A because it was a senseless, storyless, free-for-all, pick anybody installment.

Now that MK is returning (hopefully) into a story-driven game with a lot more substance, then "bosses" will most likely not be selectable and be tough to beat.

LeoBrZ81 has it right, I believe. At least, I'm hoping LeoBrZ81 is right.

The bosses should be challenging. I still stand by my suggestion of Kano being the sub-boss. You fight Kano as you would in any other game (except he would obviously be updated), and you need to beat him two rounds. When it comes to Finish Him, though, he transforms into a giant dragon, and Round 3 begins. You defeat his dragon form once, and you think it may be finished, but then you have to beat the dragon against (like regular Kano and dragon Kano are two completely separate characters), and then he reverts back to a version of normal Kano (maybe with some scales and elements of his dragon form remaining), and you get to obliterate that guy for being so difficult.

Then you face the game's final boss, who I would make a female sorceress, who is skilled in the martial arts, but is more deadly with her magic powers, which gives her a large array of extremely effective special moves.

I would have to agree. Some of the bosses were hard as heck to beat. Look at MK:DA. It was really hard to beat Molach. Using certain Kharacters that was easy to beat him. But Damn. Some of them really sucked at beating him. Also the other game that is really hard to beat is MK:SM I still can't beat Shao Kahn either on single player or co-op. I get really close to beating him and then it's all over. For the Bosses for MK8. they need to be more of a matched up fight for who ever you are playing as. (i.e. Scorpion vs. the one that took his son). More Female Bosses need to show up, not just Sheeva tho i do like her and i'm glad that she made it back since MKT. My advice is to have matched up fights rather then just shuffled.

I think the "Boss" should be more like the characters on the roster fronting for "a bigger thing". A more "objective Boss" this time around.

Picture, alot of bag guys trying to make something happen that will benefit them as a collective unit. Once the bad guys do what they're supposed to, and if they complete their objectives....Earth goes down and they get their way as individuals.

What would happen if Earth merged with the NetherRealm? Then who'd be the beneficiaries?

Shinnok
Quan Chi
Noob Saibot
Smoke

probably or indirectly...

Sareena
Ashrah
Drahmin
Moloch

who probably wouldn't care either way...

Scorpion
Havik

Then, from there , you can draw up the opposition. Raiden and friends Hotaru...ect

That's and interesting concept, I'll have to think this one over for a while.
