On the topic of having a gay character....
Well I'm gonna throw in some Real World characters Willie and Karamo.
For those of you that don't know.
Willie- Flamboyant stereotypical gay male.
Karamo- Big, black, buff guy he was ripped and seemed perfectly straight which was wierd when he announced that he was gay.
Well since Willie is the stereotype, Midway announced a gay character most peaople would expect a Williesque character which would be a joke and would offend the gay community. But if they used the Karamo type character then there would be no point in suddenly throwing in orientations and romances to MK because in the past 6 games they haven't done it and there would be no point in starting now.
So for me it's a no.

I'd love it if they revealed a character was gay, but the proper way to do it it to just have it as a side note in their character information.
Although with the exceptions of Kitana and Liu Kang, and Baraka and Mileena, romantic attraction is something that has little bearing on the MK world.

I think its just wrong talking about a gay character. I enjoy playing Mortal Kombat but the idea of a gay character is stupid.

Yeah true, it dont really matter if there are gay or not, it is not like Ed boon really going to say that there is a gay person in MK8 (not talking about MKA)
but he is not going to say that a carc is gay in MK, the story line might but i dont see the big deal with gays on MK, be a werid story line but nan who cares.
