The ONLY reason I looked up DC Comics on Wiki is to find out what kind of fuck clowns I can expect in the next Mortal Kombat. I sure as shit didn't read their bios/story. Just what they looked like.

My fascination in Batman and Superman died with my childhood. Not even the new movies were able to respark the flame of interrest. Neither will this game. I won't even be playing as the DC characters when I play test it.

I actually was watching some batman earlier lol, and the justice league, and I will really intterested in the new MK if the joker is in it.

Although I do like DC before this game, I like Marvel way better. There are so many more super heroes from Marvel that could put up a better popularity fight in my opinion. But even if it were an MK vs Marvel the idea still sucks. It shouldn't be a crossover at all and I think the game will not do good on the review side. Although the concept is interesting, I will find myself choosing more MK characters because as far as I'm concerned this is an MK game featuring DC characters, thus it is their invasion.

I think it would have been better to just make a separate DC fighting game using MK's style even if Boon wanted to make that that'd be better.

By no means do I agree. I like Joker and Two-Face, that's it. I've bleed Marvel red, for a decade and despise DC.

I am a long time fan of Batman and his villains (especially the Joker). I also like some of Superman's villains and the dynamic that he has with Batman, but other than that I don't like DC very much at all.

If this game was Mortal Kombat vs. Batman I'd be psyched. This way Batman and all his villains could be in it. That would be intense!

Why not you stop complaining and get use to the fact that MK is in fact, a crossover game. We don't need your comments about the fact that you hate this idea, there have been mulitple threads about this issue, why not you flood those threads with your whining and stop wasting space on threads that don't need comments like these?

No...Because I've always been a DC fan.

I've gotten over my anger and I am actually starting to get excited...or something. I want to see Doomsday as a boss. The DC universe is huge and anyone of the hundreds of DC characters could be MK with some tweaking and we would never know it. It is not the Superman/Batman universe. The only thing I hope is that this is not a trend... that future MK games will have ulockable characters from other franchises.

I know I've become far more interested. My knowledge of comics was pretty limited but after doing a lot of investigation and such on various websites I'm pretty excited.

I never gave a rat's patoot about Batman, Superman, and other DC characters before, and it'll remain that way. This upcoming release makes me care even less about them.

I think I'm less interested now, because I have an adequate understanding of them already. Green Lantern and Raiden have been standing together on top of my gameing stuff for a long time now. (action figures, I mean)

This games' concept is a turn off for both the franchises to me.

The only thing i'm interested in is how are they gonna balance the abilities of D.C. fighters and M.K. fighters in a fighting game. For example, balancing a fight between Superman and Johnny Cage? I gotta see how this turns out.

Either way I'm buying the game. Mortal Kombat has always been something worth playing from my experience with the series.

LOL omg no. You don;t know DC? let me explain really quick. Along time ago, are great grandfather starting making classy comics with nice guys. Those nice guys are now going to fight the Censor breaking Bad boys we like in MK, except, on DC terms, which means nice ending and corny one liners. Thats one of the reasons I started a Petition to get this game stopped. Sign it, the link is in my signature, those are the rules on the forum and we should respect them.

If you're intrested in DC, check out the now dead Justice League Unlimited, also Justice League: New Frontier just came out on DVD, that'll point to what characters will surely be in the game.

Also, be warned JLU and JL:NF are very different, the latter is a much more serious film than the TV show.

Do you really think an MK fan with little or no reference is going to have any appreciation for something steeped in the Silver Age of comics!? It might be a less mature story, but you'd have more luck getting blood from the stone with something like Superman: Doomsday...
