I] looks like it could be Shao Kahn. Has the spikey bits on his head, the large Shoulderpads, and looks like the Skull mask styled after the one they used in the TV series MK Conquest...just my hunch though.

I think I would rather it be Reptile than Shao Kahn though. Kahn is awesome, but Reptile is after all my favorite character.

Ok my thoughts on this selection screen.
1. Raiden/Quan Chi.
2. ? No idea.

11. Reptile.
12. Raiden?

A few questions I have are.
1. Who is that under scorpion?
2. Who is to the right of Ermac?
3. Who is to the left of Kenshi.

Do you think this will be the selection screen for mortal kombat deception? Do you think there will be another page of characters etc.

Her ending also hinted at her return like Sektor's.

Who says that Shinjuko has to be the old guy. i like the idea of it being mk1 Shang. after fall of deadly alliance the soulnado was shut off. shang loses power grows old and can no longer control the soul of Liu Kang

He said in the fan interview that after you complete Konquest mode you will unlock "the old man".

Its cool how many seem to agree sonya is hidden in the screen.

After watching a video I need to change Tonya, it is actually a guy! The video (New Trailer at Gamespot has a guy in a karate uniform with that haiestyle. I think Tonya is now above him.

I forgot to say he's the guy that gets kicked into the press by Baraka at the end.

A: Smoke - that is, if he doesn't have the head of a cyber-ninja. otherwise, I have no clue.

B: That's either Kabal or a scuba diver.

C: Gotta be Liu Kang.

D: Going with the artwork here: Kira.

E: The bangs theory is sound to me. I'll say Tanya, too.

F: Agreed, that's saibot's first costume.

G: No clue.

You forgot Jax and Raiden.

Mabye if you replace Skab(J) with Jax, and Smoke(A) with Raiden, but I have no clue who is who.

I love this thread. I have know idea who is who.

. LIU KANG might be included in C (or at the end of the left side corner).

. I have realized that in G (or the hidden character next to Sub-zero) is confusing many of u. The pic seems to have a female features (slim face, long soft hair). Also, it's seems there's a pointing item on the head which might be a crown. Another thing is that the lower part is hidden.
In conclusion, this seems to be KITANA.
I hope that she's back.

Hidden Characters:

Ed Boon has confirmed that there will be more than just 24 characters, that there will be several characters from MKDA hidden inside Konquest. The only confirmed character outside of the select screen is Jax. Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Reptile, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Kitana, Sonya, and Drahmin seem like other possibilities.

and this whole thing will be in vain when the game comes out and the select screen is totally changed like in mkda.
