Omg. If this happens, i will utterly flip. I have both ps2 and gamecube, and i do NOT want to buy an xbox at all. I hate the controller, and alot of my friends say theres get screwed up sometimes. The whole microsoft buying midway will piss me off. Its doing so great right now, and if they just make it for xbox, i'm sure mk will lose alot of potential and fans.

And i think gamecube r0x0rz, i hope MK6 makes it for it. I have ps2 for back up anyway. But i seriously hope microsoft isnt gonna do what they want, the idea is craptastic, and they wont sell much copies like they do if the game was on all 3 systems.

All I gotta say is, hell no. Playstation 2 is midways strongest supporter, and even if midway decides to switch over to microsoft, Im very sure they wont forget about ps2 users, they will make games on it anyways, presuming its PS3.

No they didn't "TAKE" it away from fans. Team Ninja pride's them selve's on working with the most powerful consoles on the market...there are several interview's with them talking about about there decision to develope doa games for xbox only.

now we know mkd is gonna be live enable more people are gonna buy mk ok xbox because there are only 2 fighting game with live enable and they are old except doa3u. majority of people who own an xbox buy only live enable game

Xbox has no Metroid, Mario, Zelda, Mariokart, Socom, Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, or Gran Turismo. Please don't bring up HALO, you all have been playing that for years, and still waiting on the 2nd. It may be great, but one game compared to the games mentioned above isn't worth the price.

I have seen the LIVE stuff, and it is nifty, but I can hop on Socom II in between 5pm-1am and there will be close to 30,000 people on. It has approximately 1000000 registered users. Considering that there are duplicate names that still comes to 333,333 players.

"But the graphics are superior", BAH!! I own a computer and its graphics are superior. Graphics don't make the game, GTA is just as good on PS2 as it is on xbox. If I wanted graphics, I would have gotten the computer version. "Wait but DOOM III is coming out", BAH!! I'll get it for my computer.

I seriously, SERIOUSLY hope this doesnt happen. This will probably be the worst thing to happen in my opinion, and i will be more pissed off than i was when my dog died.

If it comes on xbox, it wont sell even half as much as ps2 or gamecube. Plus, not to many people own xbox anyway, atleast compared to the other 2.

I just hope this doesnt happen. MK is the best on ps2 and GC, as a matter a fact, MK started out on NINTENDO to begin with. Screw xbox, keep ps2 and cube.

I have GC and PS2 now i love the mk series to teh extent that i might consider buyin x-box it would'nt hurt. If microsoft buys midway theres is still a chance that if they are so money hungry that they will continue to release the games on all three systems just to make the money. Now this is all on the that microsoft might buy the company. It's a toss.

I think its funny when people bitch that microsoft is nothing but a money hungry company that wants to do nothing but buy out companies so that they get all the exclusives and try to monoplize gaming. Name one company tht is not in it for the money, that the whole point of this industry, TOO MAKE MONEY. As far as Microsoft buying out companies, other than Rare and Bungie name one worthwhile company that they have bought. sony on the otherhand has bought out naughty Dog, Insommiac, Psygnosis, etc. And the whole point of this is to ensure that your console has exclusives that make people have to own it. And sony by far is winning in this catergory withits flood of exclusives like Jax, Socom, Ratchet and Clank, GTA, etc. Microsofts only real big exclusives are Ninga Gaiden and Halo, the rest, games like steel Battilion, Otogi, panzer Dreagoon, DOA3, Enclave, Phantom Crash, etc are niche title that only appeal to a select group of gamers. As far as monoplizing, Nintendo had a ironclad monopoly far most of the late 80's and early 90's and Sony has the closes thing to a monopoly today. I'm not defending Microsoft are anything, and I think that there buying midway has a lot of bad and good points to it, its just that all the hate towards them is hate that is ill-rational at best because the reasons their hated are the same things Sony and nintendo are doing also.

i use to be alot like you, only owning a ps2 now i have all 3

i use to pray (well overstatement but anyway) for it to be on ps2 but now i just want it on xbox i hardly use ps2 anymore its so much better

one reason i dont use ps2 is because sony has pissed me off with there policy on 2d games atm
