Just gave me a good idea for a thread.

forget catholic believes,the shaolin monks aren't forced to be chaste.
they have only a peaceful role.
howevr there's a lot of branch of shaolin order,and maybe some branch accept only chaste people.
i don't know.
however Chromei hate be a pain in the a$$,but i remeber that someone says about MK1's liu kang fatality (non lethal) that he can't kill because he was a shaolinb.
in MK2 he uses a lethal fatality(dragon),and it's said that he is no more a shoaolin.
however if someone knows more than me,please speak! about Nightwolf...he's one of my worse characters...i can't tolerate him. however his new role as Liu kang's guide let me think that Now Liu have a double role:his body is evil under raiden's control. and his soul/spirit is good and want to save earthrealm.

Wtf? Since when does a Shaolin Seng Bing (Warrior Monk) falling in love contradict Shaolin Chan Buddhist beliefs?? When?? You also have to remember that this is MK, and considering how we have the current Kung Lao, who is the descendant of the Original Kung Lao, well, I'm sure (at least, I hope...) you get my point.

Anyway, the bio was short, but it was kind of interesting. I sort of would've liked the whole evil taint thing to play a role in his story, but whatever...

Vogel must have been burning the midnight oil. If he manages to weave together 60-odd bios the way it seems he's aiming for without any errors, I'll lead the standing ovation.

VERY nicely done, this one. Good to know Kang's soul hasn't been forgotten.

Well, to be fair, Vogel's the leader of a whole story team. (Check the credits or the Krypt for a picture of the guys behind the story, John Vogel, I think's just the main guy, but he has help)

Pretty shitty. Once again I say this probably because I have lost interest.

God I hate that some bios are starting to look so short!!!! They have to be bigger and go more in-depth about everything.

Anyway, that bio was amazing!

I love everything about it, I repeat, Im more in love with the fact they have made Johnny Cage have such a prominent role in the story, and also all the deal about Shinnok, it just rocks, specially since I have always loved Shinnoks storyline despite his crappy look/powers in Mk4 (not counting the awesome fatalities).

So Nightwolfs ending is cannon, I believe this will tie with Sindels somehow, Im pretty sure she had to do something with the “release” of his soul, though she didn’t manage to kill him like shown in her ending.

The whole Liu Kang soul explanation thing was great! Very cool imo, and his involvement with Kitana seems to be more real, I like the way it was explained, and the whole Nightwolf involvement in the “bond” was very good done.

Overall this is one of the best bios so far, too bad is so fucking short.

They better makes Sonyas huge and just as cool and twisted.


****EDIT****: What "bond" do Nightwolf and Liu Kang share now? I mean, was it really love what Kitana and Liu Kang had in their bond? If so, I guess its kind of interesting to think of the possibilities (though obviously very unlikely) of a new sort of "love bond" between the wolf man and the monk.......strange.

The bond between them is a spiritual one. Nightwolf and Liu Kang's relationship is different from Kitana's.

Just the spiritual anchor...
Like a shamanic "paperweight"(so to speak) to keep track of him until they can figure out if the "unknown power" the darker forces are after can help Liu..

Other than that, I'm thinking they might become better buddies...

Nightwolf: No problem man, anytime. Um....this is awkward now..Welp, see ya, I'ma go get one of those "erbal" moccas from Starbucks...

I’m glad Nightwolf is finally getting some acknowledgement, having a more crucial role.

Seemed liked his plan to imprison Onaga worked perfectly, I wonder exactly what went wrong.

Also, dealing with Liu Kang and Kitana finally gives him some interaction he’s needed with other characters. Before this, he seemed like he was just a random good guy fighting the main boss.

Shaolin is strickly chaste. The buddhist priests may not let themselves be touched by women, most prominently tibetan buddhists.

Are you sure about that? Even so, Liu Kang doesn't seem to be much of a monk anyway and more like a warrior from Shaolin. The same goes for Kung Lao.

I really hope they do one of either, Moloch, Raiden, Rain, Ermac, or Onaga next. Mainly Moloch though. Other than that, Nightwolf's ending so fr has a very high potential to be canon. Funny thing is that his ending is one of the only ones I liked. I just seriously hope chameleon's and meat's bios comes up dead last. *grabs as many guns as Neo had in The Matrix to fend off possible flames from chameleon and meat fans*

I have been very surprised and pleased with the bios that have been released so far... and that's why I'm just so angry at their exclusion from the game. These bios are showing that, yes, MK CAN still tell a good storyline and have character depth, so their exclusion was unforgiveable, but I'm more than happy that they're working on them now. And no bad bios yet.

I'm surprised at how well they handled Nightwolf, a character who, well, hasn't been the most well-received character out there. But at the same time, I felt it was dreadfully laden with "other bios", focusing more on secondary characters, like Liu Kang, than on him himself. It's a minor, minor complaint, but I wonder how it'll affect the characters who have been appearing so frequently in other people's bios (like Johnny Cage). Still, answers (and raises) a lot of questions, so great job there. Good job.
