Oh no, nothing to do with DC.

My problem is that based on what I've been seeing thus far, my two favorite characters...Kitana and Wonder Woman...are only being thrown in to fulfill a quota and otherwise dick effort is being put into them.

While I like other characters such as the Joker, Sub-Zero, and Raiden and I would try out Green Lantern and some others to see if I like them...Kitana & WW are my dealbreakers.
And it seems counter-productive to shell out 50-60 bucks on a game that half-asses the characters I'm mainly buying the game for.


However, to be fair, when the game is released I will be paying attention to the response and the spoilers; and If I'm proven wrong and Kitana & Wonder Woman turn out great, play good, and have satisfying roles in the story I will gladly purchase MK vs. DC.

I kind of like the story

The fact that it takes you through the thing is a negative too. The more control I have over things, the better. "Choosing things for me to do", or "Making decisions for me" should be kept to a minimal in an open world type environment. That's the inherent rule outside of when it ellaborates on something, or progresses the mode constructively.

--I'm glad they like the gameplay though, the thing that bugged me the most about gameplay was this:

"Character animation is solid but retains the deliberate movement we've seen before which looks to keep the action from being totally fluid."

Why?

I didn't read the story spoilers because I want to be surprised, but the rest did sound very good except for that quote of Predator.

I really hope it feels NOTHING like MKD-MKA.
