Nobody pays attention to the contents of cross over video games simply because it's nowhere near the same limelight as Mortal Kombat since its debut. Games like Killer Instinct or Eternal Champions can coup against Mortal Kombat as long as it's non-canon, of course. How does DC Universe even spar with Mortal Kombat? Not even 1 inch near the knee area.

Lmao.. The look Joker gave Deathstroke after that remark.. just the way he turned mid-stride to be like "What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" Priceless. Most of these scenes were very funny. If you can't appreciate Joker as a fighter (which, honestly, no one can be blamed for that.) Then you gotta love the entertainment value he provides. He's awesome.

They had to put aside their pride and deal with the crossover just like everyone else did. I'm sure we'll get some interviews from them on what it was like to have to work with the DC characters.

Its an MK fighting game... I cant believe that people are whining about a character like the joker pounding on scorpion. What do you guys expect in a character vs character fighting game? Did you all seriously expect it to be programmed in a way that certain characters cannot beat others no matter how good you are at the game or what? I dont understand the whining at all

As to Joker winning against people (though I too agree about Scorpion):

1. It said somewhere that with all the power balances being readjusted due to merging of realms (as others have tried to point out repeatedly, lol) that characters that weren't powerful before like the Joker are finding themselves surging with new found strength and power they've never had before.

2. The "Rage" force that empowers ALL the Mortal Kombat characters that they are so used to because its like the physics of their reality but in DC they don't have this so the DC chars are like wtf? Joker is too crazy to really be bothered by "OMG I'm uber-powerful and I feel the need to kill shit!"... to him it's like "Sweet, more power to do what I was gonna do anyway!"

3. The MK characters have all fought and observed each other for how long? They understand each other as warriors and what each other can do, their strategies, their weaknesses, their behavioral patterns, EVERYTHING. But the don't know shit about DC chars. It's the unknown. Joker is unknown, Joker is RANDOM. About crazy and chaotic as Havik yet still an unknown factor and they are all probably caught off guard the first time they fight him. To support this idea, listen to the MK casts' commentary on getting beat by him. Shang Tsung: "You got beaten by a clown?" Scorpion: "The jester with the twisted face..." Kano: "Skinny guy. Purple suit. Green hair. Stronger than you'd think!" It's simple. It's the ONLY reason Goro lost to Lui Kang in the tournament. They underestimated an opponent they didn't know and understand, got overconfident, and lost. Scorpion saw Joker and was like "What the hell could a scrawny guy dressed in that awful suit painted like a circus dropout POSSIBLY do to me." A few trips through a building later. "I... lost... to.. to.. a... clown?? I hate this place! Screw you guys, I'm going home." Know your enemy isn't just a cheesy mantra, it's essential to victory. Underestimating your enemy is the leading cause of failure, lol.

I agree with you 1000%, Nobody whined when Darth Vader, Yoda, The Apprentice, Spawn, Link and Heihachi took on the Soul Calibur crew and nobody complained when Sonic the Hedgehog took on Solid Snake In Smash Bros. When Midway decides to do it and everyone whines like Ed Boon poured sugar in their gas tank and raped their mother. Don't give me that "DA MK KILLERS ARE TOO VIOLENT FOR TEH DCU HEROS" nonsense because its irrelevant because of the double standard hypocrisy of the fan base
