Great, now there will be 3 billion threads about Liu Kang being in the God damn game.

what is everybody's problem i think its great, if you have an opened mind, and not focus on wanting one or two certain characters like i havent. Am im upset that there is some that arent in there? YES, but am i happy with the new ones being introduced? YES....we can hate tanya, and lui from past games, but they can very well be your new fav characters in this game. A new game, new ideas



Boon listened to us with the characters on who we wanted back, and i as well as all of you know that we are happy with that, but it is still infact his game with his ideas. By now i know he has an idea what we want in our characters, so have faith because i think we will see major improvements

Which will probably mean that the fact that Sektor is with a *(?) is because they are still not definetly sure which character to put as final return. Also, The list here is the list from the magazine(at least made exactly how it says it is, with the (?) and all). I explain this as it is the only difference between the one posted earlier and this one.

Which might mean either Smoke or Noob will be back, and by the looks of it, it's Noob.

A few replies to some people and my thoughts on this news added.

I didn't make up this article. It would be very mean of me if I did. I get the feeling the messenger's being blamed by some. The person who thought it must be fake because might want to reconsider this extremely retarded opinion.

Konqrr, I'm glad you could confirm most of it, or else this mag was bullshitting ;). Luckily, it's not.

Now, as to my thoughts on this line-up...

I'M PLEASED WITH

Kabal, Sektor, Nightwolf, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kenshi, Noob Saibot, Ashrah, Hotaru and Ermac.

These characters all look great up until now. My only gripe with it, is the overkill of ninjas. But if they are differentiated enough (meaning, not all "bad ass mysterious blokes"), I'll love them all.

LEAVES ME INDIFFERENT

Li Mei, Sindel, Mileena, Raiden, Baraka, "24".

My opinion could still change on these, of course, as material is scarce on some of them. By the way, I think "24" is actually the codename of the player's create-a-character thingy. If it is a real character, however, I'm intrigued very much!

I'M NOT PLEASED WITH

Liu Kang's Spirit, Skab, Tanya, Kano's female counterpart, Bo'Rai Cho.

Skab seems like a bit of a Drahmin rip-off to me, but we'll have to wait and see pics, I guess. Of all MK4 characters, I personally feel Kai and Fujin would have been better picks. And I think Liu Kang's Spirit is a totally daft idea... However, my opinions may change as we hear more about the game's development.

OPEN ISSUES

Who is that Shokan we were promised? Where is he/she?

Who is the vampire? Is it Hotaru?

Where are classics like Kung Lao, Jax, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, etc etc?

What happened to Mavado? Where is Reptile?

Why did the article question Sektor and Kabal's status?

Never said they were dead. Just follow their MK DA endings, that's where they are.

Well what about Li Mei's? She died in her ending. Where is she? I know that the endings are what if endings so don't give me that bullshit.

Not all of them. Deadly Alliance didn't succeed, so Li Mei lived. The only way she died is if they succeeded.

Only some are What if's.

I just want to know why they wouldn't include Quan Chi and Shang Tsung again. I know they say we will find out what happened to the Deadly Alliance, but I want to know what happened. I don't want Quan Chi dead. I could care less about Shang Tsung, but I don't want Quan Chi dead.
