It never mentioned anywhere in the article that the rumor was "Strongly Suggested."

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Back in September rumors sprouted up regarding "Mortal Kombat 8" being a 'versus' title along with another well-established intellectual property. So far no new information on this rumor has presented itself to us; however, signs still point to that possibility and soon we shall find out if our tipster was on the money.

Id like to know where anyone has given an ykind of reason for us to believe its a vs game? Theres not a single piece of information out there that states it other than people saying it COULD be...yea it COULD be a MMORPG... it COULD be a damn shooter up game too... see i can say its something, yet with no facts or evidence of it.... its just people talking,,,, lame.

Yeah, only it can't be a shooting game, its going to be a fighing game.

You can't say its a mmorpg either. Its a fighting game. Ed Boon said it would definitely be a fighting game. Think about it please. However, its possible it could be a VS game. That is a type of fighting game, and its been done before. Yessir.

I don't see how this could be a versus game.

A new Street Fighter is in progress, so Capcom is busy. A new Soul Calibur is in progress, so Project Soul is busy, a new DOA is in progress, so Tecmo is busy. I would be highly disappointed if the new MK was a vs game, and Outworld you make no points as to anything that can point it towards this game being a vs game. I feel it's just wishful thinking on your end.

And imO, no, it's not even likely that the next MK will be a vs game. Nothing in anything but the rumor itself "strongly suggest" this concept.

What's bothering people is your misleading title.

It’s not strongly suggested. It briefly mentions the bogus September rumor at the bottom, with nothing new added on to it.

It’s great you’re looking for news, I appreciate it since this is the only MK site I go to. But post what it actually says without jumping to conclusions.

MK8 is gonna stay true as a fighting games as it always was. If MK8 became a vs game, then it would die right there (the series). So ya, MK8 will be a full-force fighting game. End of story!

okay its a renlaunch of the franchise not a goof like MKT or Armageddon ( and come on we all know it was)
