Since the first time I experienced the Meat cheat for MK4, I never saw him as an actual character and would never have expected him to become one either until Deception (although hilarious, he was nothing but a corpse skin used in several fatalities).

With his new appearance and background given, if it indeed is canon, I find it fitting as it does leave some future possibilities and explanations.

- The name; Meat is an appropriate name for "this kind" of test subject.

- The absence; Due to his grotesque appearance and his ignorant knowledge about the world outside the place of his creation, it's fully reasonable for him to hide from civilization, even if he much desired to be part of it.

For future perspectives, I would like to add in Tsung or Mileena here (meaning that one of them also survives armageddon). Note, though that these perspectives might feel somewhat similar to the Frankenstein story.

Neutral/Good alignment - The rivalry

A rivalry between him and Tsung, were he wants vengeance for his miserable existence. Plain, but a start for a new rivalry in the next gen at least.

Good alignment - The father and the son

After Armageddon Tsung is searching under the remnants for a new protector. He crosses paths with Meat and might be able to convince/manipulate him into joining his cause with the aid of hypocrisy, were he offers a "father and son" relation between the two. Being tired of his ongoing isolation Meat accepts, but his loyalty to his creator is later on questioned due to this ones actions, leading to an inevitable confrontation between the two.

Evil alignment - Relations

Meat is accepted as Mileenas right hand due to their similar backgrounds (in terms of creations, creator and the like). To be put in other words, he takes over Baraka's place.

Of the three, I would prefer the second for the best personality evolvement. Also in future games, would I like him to lose his humorous appeal all together, letting it going onward in a straight sinister direction (even if he should be good at heart). A new name might not be wrong either ;)

i like meat. he looks like hell be a good fighter. and i cant say i really like stories that much. gameplay is where it counts.


but id like to see him be a rogue outcast killing anyone who gets in his way.

Okay... now let's discuss the new General MK4 cast. So discuss all the new characters that were first introduced in MK4. I'll edit mine in later.

Overal, at the time it was one hell of an uninspiring cast.
I suppose Chi, Shinnok, and Fujin stood out, but the rest left me bored.

Yet they do look much better nowadays, and maybe their storylines will be deeper.

They are all either filler characters...or pretty much hated by majority of the MK fans. Also storyline wise pretty much every MK4 character has tons of enemies.

I agree with you. But I want to add Tanya to the list as a possible MK4 survivor of Armageddon. She's one of the most popular of the MK4 cast because so many people hate her and her intelligence is dangerous to the side of both good and evil since she's just a traitor. Her intelligence is what gives her a chance to survive more than others like Jarek.

I'm sorry I just see Jarek dead in the next gen story. Shinnok, he's cool. Even though you can't kill a god, I think MKA will be his last game unless they think of a way for him to become a huge threat to the MK universe.

Quan-chi I see in the future as the next gen Shang Tsung.

Meat.......please. Mk team......just do us a favor and never release him on us again especially over characters that have a story and are worthwhile...*cough!!khameleon!!cough*.

Quan Chi- gets killed by Scorpion.

Tanya- The ungreatful bitch dies painfully in the hands of Jade.

Fujin- becomes the new protector of Earthrealm.

Reiko- I don't know, but he may die. I'd be surprised if he lives.

Jarek- Dies in the all out war between the Special Forces, Black/Red Dragon clans and Tekunin clans.

Kai- He has a pretty high chance to die.

Meat- *shrugs* Who cares? Just die!

Shinnok- Gets killed by Raiden.

Sareena- Should assist Sub-Zero in the final battle with Noob Saibot. I would like to see her and Frost fighting after Ashrah's death. She should survive and make it to future games.

I just hope he dies.Fuck this guy!

Overall, the cast was kind of unimpressive. It was sort of a mixed bag. Anyway, here goes:

Kai: I feel indifferent about him. I think his return in MKA was sort of needed. I don't know what should become of him.

Jarek: Meh. I'm just not into him. But still, him having more balls than Kano is somewhat commendable, and that humming laugh of his is probably what he can best remembered for to me. He'll probably die.

Fujin: He's kind of an interesting character, and I'm very glad he's in MKA. I think he has potential for the next-gen MK games.

Tanya: I don't like her, and I think she should die.

Meat: Utter garbage; He shouldn't been made into an actual character and he should just get grilled and roasted to death.

Reiko: Not much going on for his story, but I do like him. I'm not sure what should become of him.

Quan Chi: Awesome villain that perhaps has potential for the next-gen MK games. I think he should die by Scorpion's hands in MKA though.

Shinnok: Cool character but crap gameplay and such. I'm glad he's in MKA with a revamped look and I look forward to what his story will be. I'm not sure what should become of him.

all i can say is that basically all the mk4 new characters were there to fill the gap the only one so far to make a decent storyline for himself is quan chi

Quan Chi- Kills Scorpion. That would be great.

Tanya- Her and Rain become MK's Bonnie & Clyde, squares off against Jade in the future.

Fujin- becomes the new protector of Earthrealm.

Reiko- I have no idea. He could go pretty much anyway if they don't fuck him up.

Jarek- Killed by either an OIA, a Tekunin or a Red Dragon or New Black Dragon. He gets killed.

Kai- Could prove an interesting ally to the Shaolin. I wonder what happened to him.

Meat- Don't care.

Shinnok- I like Shinnok, he's cool. I hope, if all goes well in Armageddon, he returns as a serious threat.

I don't see Quan Chi making it out alive after this game. Everyone has a bone to pick with this guy. I don't know who is going to kill him off, but I'd like to see Shinnok take him out.

Quan Chi- Outsmarts Shinnok again, but gets beaten by Scorpion. For some reason is not killed and his life is spared. Makes it to next-gen, wanting revenge on Scorp & becoming a more deadly force at the same time. Gets killed next-gen by whoever most deserves to take him down at the time (not necessarily Scorpion)

Tanya- Somehow manages to survive Armageddon & pisses off all her haters, making her one of the most hated characters in next-gen. we need to despise someone and Tanya is the perfect person to be on the top of our to-kill list.

Fujin- Wins a battle against either Raiden or Shinnok! Takes over Raidens place as earthrealm protector in next-gen.

Reiko- Die (Given proper story though)

Jarek- Die (Involved with Black, Red dragon etc)

Kai- Give him a proper storyline and he willl have potential in the next-gen.

Meat- Die

Shinnok- Gets defeated again by one of the Gods or higher powers, but goes out in style, killing several less-important characters. He will probably return at some point or other, seeing how he is a God n all! So whether he ultimately lives or dies in Armageddon doesn't really matter to me.



Out of alll these characters, its pretty much certain that Fujin will make it to next-gen! I would also like to see Tanya, Quan-Chi & Kai make it!

Quan Chi: Scorpion finally kills him and finish his revenge.

Tanya: I see her being brutally killed by Jade. But I would like to see that bitch being sucessful in MKA. She's already one of the most hated character and it's nice for a good villian.

Fujin: Becomes the new protector of Earthrealm.

Reiko: I don't see much future for his obsession in Shao Kahn. He will probably be killed by the emperor himself.

Jarek: I don't see him surviving. He will die during the Dragon clans- Special Forces war.

Kai: He has potential to be one of the heros of the next generation. But it's more likely that he will die during Armageddon.

Meat: ...

Shinnok: Raiden sacrifices himself to destroy him.

Quan Chi gets double teamed by Scorpion and Shinnok, dies

I can see Tanya getting killed by Jade, Kitana, and Sindel( 3 on 1 Revenge haha)

Fujin finally becomes protector of Earthrealm(bout time)

Reiko either replaces Shao Kahn(don't hate me) or gets killed by him(most likely)

Jarek dies by his own stupidity...again, or by Mavado's or Jax's hands

Kai survives and finds what his life is missing

Shinnok gets killed by scorpion, Raiden, or Fujin

Meat... Eaten by Netherrealm City Guard(they finally get flesh instead of koins).

Fujin is the protecter of earthrealm.Raiden is in an elder god.He was accepted in the pantheon of the elder gods

Due to the game coming out very shortly, I got to hurry up so from now on we will discussing two or more characters at once.

Kenshi

Kenshi was an egotistical fighter, wandering the world in search of worthy competition just to boost his pride. One day, he encountered a man named "Song", who told Kenshi the location of a great sword. So, Kenshi opened the well, but the warrior souls that lie within it, spewed forth and blinded Kenshi, "Song" then revealed his identity as Shang Tsung and absorbed the warriors souls and left Kenshi to die. But the sword guided Kenshi out of the tomb, the sword revealed to Kenshi, his true ancestry and that Shang Tsung had just devoured the souls of his ancestors. Enraged, Kenshi vowed to slay Shang Tsung and free them.

Sometime within the next decade, he joined the Outworld Investigation Agency, when Agent Cyrax went missing, Sonya sent Kenshi to find him. Kenshi would use this to spy on Shang Tsung, when he learned of the Deadly Alliance, he tried to contact his superiors only to find that the portal the Agency had used to travel to Outworld had been destroyed, he was on his own.

It should also be noted that sometime when Kenshi was in Outworld, he came across Ermac, who he freed from Shao Kahn's mind control, out of gratitude, Ermac taught Kenshi the Telekinetic Slam.

Sometime after this, Kenshi was attacked by the Red Dragon, Mavado. Kenshi was badly wounded and near death, when he was found by the Lin Kuei Grandmaster Sub-Zero, who nursed Kenshi back to health. Just then, the warrior king ancestors returned to Kenshi's sword, this meant that Shang Tsung was dead, but he did not know by whom. Therefore, he had no more reason to remain in Outworld, he and Sub-Zero formed an alliance to make their way back to Earthrealm. Sub-Zero told Kenshi of warrior named Hotaru who attacked him, Sub-Zero thought he had won, but Kenshi wasn't so sure...

Mavado

Mavado is the leader of the Red Dragon, whose main goal is to exterminate their rivals, the Black Dragon. To do this, the Red Dragon manipulated the Special Forces into hunting down the Black Dragon. After all traces of the Black Dragon were thought eliminated, Mavado then spent his time doing whatever. (He himself tracked down and apparently killed Kabal, taking his Hookswords as trophies)

When the Deadly Alliance approached him. (How they knew of him, I don't remember or it was never explained) They offered to hand over the last member of the Black Dragon, Kano, in exchange for Mavado's assistence in tracking down a warrior who was spying on Shang Tsung. Mavado agreed and travelled with them to Outworld. It is known that Mavado did fight Kenshi and nearly killed him, but whether or not he fought Kano is unknown. What is known is that Kabal came back... and in a cruel twist of fate, Mavado was the one who lost that fight.

Kenshi: I like Kenshi, and I suppose the best thing he can do to give closure to his story is to kill Shang Tsung or Mavado. But who knows?

Mavado: Mavado's okay, but... well I imagine he'll die. Someway or another. That's all I have to say

Kenshi: I like Kenshi. He has a pretty good story and he was my favorite of the new characters in MKDA. I hope he survives at the very least. I'm not sure what could be done for him if he were to be in the next-gen MK games, but it'd be cool to see him.

Mavado: I like Mavado and I think he has a good story as well. I was disappointed that he wasn't in MKD and I hope they can really do something good with him in MKA.

Kenshi: Kenshi has a lot of potential and i think that he'd make a good addition in the next gen. He must slay mavado, hotaru or shang tsiung in this game.. HE MUST LIvE!

No seriously, hes ma fav character and hopefully he remains in the next gen as we could do with a psychich blind swordsman i think!

Mavado: Definitely gonna die. Too many enemies.

Will he die via Kabal, Kano, Kobra, Kira, Jarek, Kenshi maybe even betrayal from Hsu Hao.....

Mavado is gone in this game, i just hope he goes out with a bang!
