Kenshi: I'm not to peticularly fond of Kenshi, but nevertheless, he's a pretty cool character. I personally don't see him continuing in the next-gen games. I'm kinda torn as to who should find conflict with Shang; Kenshi or Kang.

Mavado: I always liked Mavado. To me, he and the Red Dragon are much cooler and far more worthwhile than the Black Dragon. I want to see Mavado and the RD continue on and cause more trouble in the future, but not be so focused on killing the BD or Special Forces or anything. Overall, I don't think he and his clan have had a fair chance to shine and hopefully this will change in armageddon or future games.

Kenshi: I like Kenshi, but don't see him making it out of MKA alive. Perhaps he could slay Shang Tsung, but I think Shang will kill Kenshi and then Lui Kang will kill Shang Tsung. It would really only make sense for one telekinetic character to survive, and if that intro video hints at anything, it won't be him. Gameplay... I like Tai Chi as his style, and his Katana is highly effective.

Mavado: The Red Dragon plot would have worked better if they had come up with a better patsy than Hsu Hao. I'm extremely irritated that Mavado also has Hookswords in this game (um, what happened to his grapples) and I think that Kabal will get the last laugh and end the Red Dragon.

I can see Kenshi living through MKA, but Lui Kang gets the honor of killing Shang. Being killed is higher up on the revenge list than regaining your honor.

Mavado probably won't see the light of day after this, he'll probably be killed by Kabal or mabye even Kanosmile

Kenshi is an awesome addition to the MK cast I am probably his biggest fan, but I am pretty busy right now I'm going to leave this message as a place holder and give his options as soon as things calm down.

Kenshi is undoubtly one of the best new characters created in the Deception and Deadly Alliance. I could easily see him in next gen titles so long as his story can move on from Shang Tsung

Mavado i think is one of the best new characters in deadly alliance. He was a great character with many plots potentials.

A. The typical red dragon and black dragon fued. He can fight kabal or kano. But this one is the one that is going to more likely happen.

B. This one i think can be interesting. In his ending, its mentions the lin kuei being eniemes of his clan. This i would like to see, because it would offer challenges for both mavado and sub-zero(who doesn't seem to like mavado). But mavado can allies himself with so many other people like Quan chi or sektor. I think sektor and mavado would hook up cause, sektor would want to lead the lin kuei clan and get back at sub-zero for humilating him. As with mavado, he wants the lin kuei to be his allies, so this would work for his favor, and he could learn about the clan just in case.

C. He could butt heads with kenshi and the special forces. Kenshi was almost killed and learned about mavado. If sub-zero tells him more about the red dragon clan, then kenshi could tip off the special forces. The hunt is on.

Kenshi i thought is a cool character too, being the lone swords man. I would like to see more of him doing his own thing. I didn't like him with the special forces too much, since it didn't match his character that much.

other than that, i think kenshi is cool.
with scorpion as my favourite character in mk i have to get in on this topic.
First i go by the general i dea that he vowed to protect sub zero but the offer of life was to much temptation for him and he broke his vow on purpose. anyway.

i like scorpion's storyline throughout it's history. especially the new stuff for mk:da and mk:d because those two story's put him where he should have always been at the centre of the story. hes always had his revenge thing going on but he's never been an intrigual part of the mk storyline like some of the other high profile characters bearing in mind he is a fan fav and until recently all hes done is scrap with sub zero. now hes got a vedetta with a quan chi a former boss and a mission to destroy onaga another former boss. By saying hes the champion of the elder gods that puts him on the same if not a higher level than liu kang the champion of mortal kombat. i think its a good move ed boon and midway know hes a favourite and have took steps to take his story in a direction that suits his fan base.

as for armageddon i hope he clashes with noob and quan chi aswell id prefer he survive the armageddon and remain champion of the elder gods. as for his family i have to be honest id like him to have a chance to see them and say goodbye as a reward or something but for me if he where to be allowed in heaven to be with them i think it wouldn't be that good cause for a start why would he want to come back and fight in further mortal kombats unless the elder gods forced him too, if hes in heaven then hes not in my favourite game being my favourite character. and has anybody considered how being a denizen of heaven rather than hell would affect his style if he did come back. i seriously doubt if hes from heaven he'll be using toasty ever again or a spear for that matter. What would be a good endng for scorpion i think is to have him defeat either noob or quan chi at least one of them destroy onaga survive the armageddon then go on to have his champion of the elder gods elvated to a god status like that of raiden i.e scorpion God of fire protector of earthrealm at least this way he'd be free to roam heaven and earth and hell at a whims notice and he still gets to be an active particpant in future mk titles. its not the best idea but at least its a happy ending of sorts.
oh crap im sorry i misread the thread i thought nevermind im sorry all forgive me.
Two more characters:

Li Mei

Li Mei lives in an Outworld Village, which one day came under siege by Kano, under orders of the Deadly Alliance, to force Li Mei and her people to build Shang Tsung a palace. Li Mei fought back against Kano and put up a very good fight. (Apparently it IS canon that Shujinko was the one who trained Li Mei) The Deadly Alliance saw Li Mei's great skill and made her an offer: if she could win a tournament held by the Deadly Alliance, her people would be freed. Li Mei accepted, and won the tournament. When she went to the Deadly Alliance and demanded that her village be freed: but she quickly learned that the true purpose of the tournament would be that the victor would be the last soul to be transferred to the Dragon King's Undefeatable Army.

Li Mei would've been a servant forever, had Bo' Rai Cho not intervened. Fleeing from the Tarkatan, Bo' Rai Cho carried Li Mei to safety. For this, she was forever in his debt. Since the reemergence of the Dragon King, Li Mei has been helping Bo' Rai Cho fight the Dragon King's armies, but has found herself drawn to a strange mysterious power.

Bo' Rai Cho

Bo' Rai Cho is a martial arts trainer from Outworld, but he desired to help Earthrealm for he opposed Shao Kahn's tyranny. He trained many stufents such as Shujinko, but his greatest student was none other than Liu Kang, Bo' Rai Cho was the onhe who taught Liu Kang the Flying Kick that he would use to defeat Shang Tsung. Once Shang Tsung was defeated, Bo' Rai Cho returned to Outworld.

Nearly a decade later, Kung Lao approached Bo' Rai Cho with the news that Liu Kang had been murdered by Shang Tsung. Devastated, Bo' Rai Cho agreed to train him and Kitana for the upcoming battle, but while he was saving Li Mei, Kung Lao and Kitana were killed along with their other Earthrealm allies. With the Dragon King's return, Bo' Rai Cho feared for Outworld's future.

Li Mei: I think she's a cool character and I think she's got a lot of potential. I hope to see her in the next-gen.

Bo' Rai Cho: I think his time is done. I imagine he'll die protecting Li Mei or something.

Li Mei: I like Li Mei, and I see potential for her. I really hope she survives and makes it to the next-gen MK games. She could either become of the Outworld's greatest heroes or become a villain, even with Onaga's destruction.

Bo' Rai Cho: Initially, I wasn't that fond of Bo' Rai Cho given the whole "Fat Bastard look-a-like" thing, but he actually has a pretty solid storyline. He's that complex character in which he seems to be a fat, jokey, and ill-mannered drunkard but in reality is a wise and skilled martial arts master who simply wants his home world to be free from tyranny and opression. I think he's the much better "joke character" of MK when comparing him to people like Johnny Cage, who lacks substance. I don't see Bo' Rai Cho making it to the next-gen MK games. He should either die or retire from fighting.

Btw PNF, you might want to change Shang Tsung to Bo' Rai Cho with the "agreeing to train Kung Lao, etc. etc." part along with some other things. wink

I am glad you are doing both of these characters together, because I definitely see them having a related storyline. Bo Rai Cho not only trained Li Mei to become the martial artist she currently is, but he also rescued her from the Deadly Alliance. Undoubtedly their relationship has a lot of history, and just as much potential.

I see Li Mei giving in to that evil taint that she has. Though she tries to resist, she can no longer control it. She sides with the bad. I think in a battle between the Tarkata and Bo Rai Cho / Li Mei's army, Li Mei can turn on Bo Rai Cho. This could lead to one of three things - her becoming the new leader for Baraka, her being killed by Baraka now that her army is more vulnerable or my personal favourite, she realizes just what she has done and thinks of all of the good Bo Rai Cho has done for her. She then is infuriated with herself and kills all of the Tarkata by herself (Baraka included). She could either retire feeling at peace, or come back in the next gen as a hero.

Li Mei is a very interesting character. Her participation in MKD hinted that she can be much less innocent then she looked in MKDA.

It seems that she'll be good in MKA. But I still hope she has some evil in her soul. And that evil could make her ally herself with Onaga. Then, the Dragon King realizes that he can't be sucessful in his plans while Bo Rai Cho is still there to train new warriors to defeat him. So, he sent Li Mei to kill him.

She acomplishes her task, but Onaga was slayed as well. From that point, she can regret of what she did and try to make the good guys trust her again. Or she could desappear for a while and then comeback to finish what Onaga has started.

Li Mei is a character that I think should return in the next generations, but if she needs to go,
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
I hope her death isn't as lame as that one she got in MKA intro.

I don't have many thoughts about Bo Rai Cho. But his death could have a huge impact in Li Mei's storyline.

I love Li-Mei!! he's freakin awsome! Like the rest of you said, She does have potential for another appearance in Next Gen. When I played deception and saw her betraying Shujinko and the good guys, I was like "oh crap."

I mean we all know that Onaga won't succeed in his quest to rule one realm. So if he's going down, then that would mean Li-Mei would die too which I don't want to happen. She could pull a Tanya and wiggle her way out of being killed but thats the thing. If Li-Mei turned evil, She'd be betraying Bo'Rai Cho, and all the good warriors. We already have one Tanya, we don't need two.

I see Li-Mei as a female Lui Kang except she's from outworld. Obviously since she's been trained by Bo' and Shujinko that she's a skilled fighter. I mean she was the victor of The Deadly Alliance's so called :"Tournament". Li-Mei could become a great hero for for her realm. I just had a thought though.

What if Li-Mei became the new Empress of outworld if Shao Kahn and Onaga are finally killed (for good)? It would be cool to see her in such a high position. But that will probably never happen. So for now I pray that she lives through Armageddon...

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
When I get Armageddon, the first person I'm gonna select is Li-Mei so I can kick Hotaru's ass for that bullshit he pulled in the opening movie. I'm gonna test every fatality out on his ass then knock him into every deathtrap!!! We will get our revenge Li-mei!!!
Two more characters:

Frost

When Sub-Zero held a tournament for new recruits for the reformed Lin Kuei, the winner was a young woman named Frost. Curious at her powers over cold, Sub-Zero took her under his wing. One day, Raiden appeared and told Sub-Zero of the Deadly Alliance, Frost vouched to go along with her teacher. (It is known that Frost did not get along well with Sonya Blade)

In Outworld, Frost made her true intentions cleared, she attacked Sub-Zero and ripped the Dragon Medallion from his chest intending to be Lin Kuei Grandmaster herself. But she was unable to control the Medallion's immense power and was consumed by her own freezing ability. But it is now known that she survived this and when she awoke in a tomb, she believed that Sub-Zero had left her to die and vowed that he would pay dearly.

Nitara

Nitara is a vampire who's home realm was conquered by Shao Kahn many years ago, she long tried to free her homeland, but it was in a place that she could never reach. Around the events of Deadly Alliance, she manipulated Reptile into damaging the Earthrealm denizen, Cyrax's armpad. Once Reptile did this, Nitara told Cyrax that she could send him back to Earthrealm if he retrieved for her a special orb. He did not fully trust her, but he accepted.

Cyrax retrieved the orb for her, and Nitara sent him home, with that, she destroyed the orb, but lost consciousness. When she awoke, she was on her native soil.

Frost: Frost is an interesting character, and I would like her to get involved with the Noob Saibot storyline, siding with him. Though I think, Frost should be killed by Sareena in the end.

Nitara: Indifferent. Don't know what should happen to her really.

Frost: I like Frost, and I feel she has potential. However, given that they are ending this generation's storyline in MKA, I don't see Frost making it to the next-gen MK games. I hope she'll side with Noob Saibot in this game and fight with Sareena.

Nitara: I like Nitara, and I see quite a bit of potential for her. Initially, I was kind of skeptical about having a vampire character in MK, but I did grow to like her, and I would like to see her in the next-gen MK games. I'm not sure what she should do in MKA though.
That is good i've always liked noob saibot/original sub-zero. good ppost on him. the only problem is you think he should kill off the new sub-zero right, and I like the new sub-zero, so i don't think he should die. And if ashrah wants to fight Noob Saibot then let her bring it on Noob will kick her ass!
I think Sonya should die i don't like her that much. I also think she should die by kano or fight Kano one last time.
Johnny Cage is a pussy! Enough said.I am the kind of person who likes the bad guys and the occasional good guys because they look cool.
Don't you ever say that about reptile because if you do I will hunt you down and kill you. Why? because I am Reptile's number 1 fan and I can't stand it when a stupid ass like you talks shit about my favorite cahrecter so stfu.

Damn, I missed a few.

Kenshi

Kenshi is a character I like and don't like at the same time. If he lives or dies I don't mind but he should not rejoin the Outerworld Investigation Agency. He doesn't belong there. That's all I can say for him.

Mavado

There should be a large epic battle to weed out the unwanted from the Red Dragon, the OIA and the Black Dragon. A brawl. Mavado should be one of these survivors. Sonya and Cyrax should survive also to fight the Red Dragon in next gen. Kira should be the only Black Dragon to survive and she should join the Red Dragon because they're far more suited to her. She prides herself on her disciplined approach to anarchy, Mavado would no doubt excuse her ignorance of the original Black Dragon's origins and welcome her. Mavado, Kira and possible Hsu Hao (I like him but many don't seem to) should return next gen as the next big threat. Deadly Alliance pointed out that Mavado would be Sonya's biggest threat, even though Kano was still alive. Mavado and the Red Dragon should take a more sophisticated and skilled approach to dealing with the OIA.
Mavado could be a great thing for MK because his inclusion next gen could not only develop his own story, but Kira's, Sonya's and finally put to rest the tired Black Dragon story.

Li Mei

I don't want an evil Li Mei. There are too many evil Outworlders. I want her to fight whatever darkness is inside her and become, along with Bo' Rai Cho and a newly reformed, clear minded Mileena, an Outworld Freedom Fighter. I don't want her to die either. Many were sceptical of Li Mei in Deadly Alliance because it sorta seemed she got lost on her way to Dance Dance Revolution and ended up in Deadly Alliance. Personally I loved her look in DA, but she came back in Deception, tougher, darker and deadlier. I don't want her to be one of the countless characters who succumb to even the slightest nudge in an evil direction. I want her to triumph over it.

Bo' Rai Cho

If Bo' Rai Cho can become a little more serious next gen, meaning no farts, then I will really like him. He could be a very cool character and not one people just take the piss out of. As an Outworld native, Bo' Rai Cho, Li Mei and Mileena could become Outworld Freedom Fighters. Bo' and Li Mei would gladly help other realms such as Earth and Edenia, Mileena might not be so helpful, her eyes are only on Outworld.

Frost

I'd love it if Frost came back. She's a really cool character (no pun intended) and one that could go in many directions. She could ally with the brother hood of shadow which would be the likely candidate, or the Red Dragon, or the Tekunin or she could go solo. Sub-Zero needs a rival, and what better one to have than a fellow cryo-type-person..whatever they're called. smile

Nitara

Nitara is just plain awesome. She's moraly neutrel, self-serving, manipulative bitch. And she's incredibly smart and charismatic. Also, as a vampire, her knowledge of other realms and other races is extraordinary. She could be evil or good. Anyone who's seen her MKA ending knows which way she went. Her race of vampires and her home realm havn't been brought into the MK world fully but they could really be a threat/ally in the future. wink I really hope Nitara comes back. She's just plain awesome.

I think Frost's story will end in MKA. She'll probably try to get revenge on Sub-Zero and stole his Dragon Medallion. It'll connect her with characters like Sareena and Noob. I don't see her surviving, but if she does, she'll need another purpose in her life, because her current storyline has a big potential to become stale.

It seems that Nitara was able to separe her realm from Outworld in MKDA. I really wonder what plans she has now in MKA. If Khameleon was in this game, I'd like to see some connections between them. But since she isn't, maybe the rivalry between Nitara and Reptile hinted in his MKDA ending will be more explored.

As the only vampire in MK, I can see Nitara returning and even other vampires being presented in the future. Frost, otherwise, will probably play an important role in MKA, but her returning is unlikely.
Will everyone stop picking on the bad guys? there the best in the game, Even though Kano is kinda human he is still a bad guy and I still like him for that. And you know how amazing it is that someone could almost always lose a fight and seem to be dead and then turn up alive. It is amazing, it is incredible.smile
Man what up with all the people picking on the bad guys? I am tired of it and if read one more board about people talking shit about them I'm going to explode.furious
