a bit of clarity to my last post to get a better understanding of the story

Raiden is to be a hidden playable character in my story. What he senses is the Dragon King, but he was wrong in thinking it was the sorcerers’ doing.

Drahmin wondered into Quan Chi’s sanctum whilst the sorcerer was there but because of the mystical properties of the room, neither could detect each others presence. When Drahmin was in the room, it was then that Quan Chi was enlightened about the properties of the Oni, as it was the light that pierced the mind and body of Drahmin. This is the same reason why Drahmin saw himself in his previous form. Quan Chi uses the room for astral travel and rejuvenation. Quan Chi’s meditation wavelengths were picked up by Drahmin allowing the Oni to see his human form.

An apology to Sonya fans, but Jax was just better storywise and I’ll explain. Sonya’s death sparks self doubt in Jax’s heart, and with the special forces no more, and the agency blown up, he lacked direction and focus in his life. The doubt led him to install the implant that belonged to Hsu Hao (btw properties from the implant get transferred from previous owner to current owner) it was my hope that Jax would get his backbreaker move back and this was just a seamless way to explain it. What also gets passed on is a change in behaviour – Jax is more malicious now, and ultimately he’ll gravitate to neutral and finally evil alignment.

Baraka knows nothing of the Dragon King and even of the deadly alliance between Chi and Tsung. I had pictured the nomads in cave like domains with the vast deserts of Outworld and therefore oblivious to what is going on. As far as he knows, Shao Kahn has disappeared and Outworld is in disarray with various combatants challenging for Kahns kingship. By the time he finds out the truth, he’s in too deep.

Overall where I want to go with the story is that the deadly alliance won, (that’s right, evil win) but the victory is soured and right before mk6 even begins shang tsung and quan chi are back where they started from, and the heroes have no clear cut champion

Stages -
Require much more interaction. like walking up steps and fighting etc. barriers must go, they get annoying after a while. Stage fatals are also a must. It would be great to see minor details like standing near water and being heavily drenched into water which will temporarily slow the character down for example.

Characters -
Id love to see Smoke, Baraka, Noob Saibot, and Ermac back in the next game.
Smoke is an automated robot, but has he retained his soul during transfer it was somehow possible to transfer back into his human body. He has an individual ninja look that is different to scorpion e.g.
Baraka can still be alive, as his mkgold states that raiden is dead, which is not the case.
Noob Saibot takes on the task as leader of the brother of the shadows now that shinnock has been eradicated. Pure Black ninja.
Rain, now that edenia has been liberated from Shao Kahn, he know becomes the general of edenia under Kitana's rule, his looks can be something along the lines of tenchu, masked face but hair visible for example.

Gameplay -
I love martial arts just as much as the next guy.
Judo, Hapkido, Wrestling to name a few, have joint locks. It would be great to see some used.
a great way to implement this is to have some moves disabled temporarily. for example, if someone using judo, uses an armbar on his opponent, rather than taking damage, his opponent wont be able to move his arm for a short period of time.
Style orientated blocking. in mkda each character has universal blocking techniques. to improve mk visually, each style should specific blocking. rather than just parrying. for example, if someone does a kick to say kung lao, he would duck, instead of blocking the attack like say hsu hao would. some characters would jump or flip at a sweep, where others would just lift the leg out of harm's way etc.
snake style kung fu mimicks the hand movements of a snake even whilst blocking which is a nice looking feature to see in the game.
muay thai would use more knees and elbows to block etc. acrobatic flips would be a nice addition, all depending on the character. someone like jax would use more power type blocks, while someone like scorpion uses ninjitsu flips and rolls as his defense to attacks.

Replay value -
Rather than having set styles for a character, it would be a better idea to be able to choose your styles, making unlimited replay value. so we could try out say, Scorpion with snake, mantis and Kori Blade! the possibilities would be endless. This way Boon and co can work to make each art effective in its on way.
practice mode. in mkda i was disappointed to have a two player mode in practice mode, where both me and a friend of mine could practice our moves at the same time.
other modes would be nice too, like the modes in mk4.
Someone brought up the idea of having an endurance match between yourself and shangtsung+quan chi for mkda. that idea was good, and something like that shouldve been done for mkda, so the final battle would be the toughest instead of the battle before the finale.
Just a few ideas lol!

on the subject of fatalities...
most ppl say make heaps, but there comes a point where the fatalities will be too repetitve.

I say 1 fatality + 1 weapon fatality per character
each stage to have a unique fatality
and also the return of the bone breaker - this would not be an elaborately decorated finisher, just on par with the mk4 (a quick and decisive break with a lot of screaming)
all u do is press special move button whilst in fatality stance.

together, that would provide 4 unique ways to end a match and who knows, a ring out option may provide a 5th

MORTAL KOMBAT 6 - RISE OF THE DRAGON KING
(Tentative Title)


Well this is my MK6 , MK7 , MK8 wishlist , but mainly MK6 wishlist so don't laugh ok? I'll be adding things to it constantly. I admit I dunno that much about the finer deatails of the mortal kombat (but i'm learning) universe but here goes.

Some of this stuff has been already thought of by some of you guys like the "Mist" character and also some stuff is just bullshit I made up so cut me some slack and post me constructive criticism ok? A lot of these ideas are mine , though I just scribbled down ideas that came to me.

I see the potential epic scope like the Lord Of The Rings trilogy here! (MFC mentioned something like this) Shao-Kahn was in power for a long long time now is the time for the grandaddy of all baddies! get my drift?

I'm not good with titles so please help me think of more????


Storyline

Continue the deadly alliance storyline and obviously make the Dragon King the final boss! Now that his army of invincible undead samurai warriors are resurrected. Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi have a falling out and battle one another to see who is the one who should take all the power and rule outworld , but with the rebirth of the almighty Dragon King who sees the 2 sorcerers as a potential threat and realises that together they posess great power! and could possibly defeat him , he sets a series of events in motion (more to come)


Vast armies all over the realms are mobilised for the most decisive and brutal battles that the gods have ever seen! Lord Reiko has mobilised his forces! The Dragon King has amassed his vast legions of undead soldiers! King Baraka and his nomad army are forming , the Edenian legions are on the move. In fact the elder gods themselves are forced to take part in the fght in the mortal realm this time and we once again see Shinnok return, but he has his own plans and the apparent death of his son (Kahn) has enraged him to the point of trying to destroy the other gods and take It over. It will be a clash of the titans indeed shaking the very ground itself.

Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi having a major role in bringing back the Dragon King and his undead army are tempted to try and overthrow him so they can control his vast armies of the outworld.


I also want more involvement from the elemental gods in the story too.


Plots and Sub-plots in the story


1. Dragon King is resurrected and begins to take kontrol of Outworld

2. Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi's uneasy alliance is faultering and may come to a bloody end

3. Earthrealm prepares for their greatest challenge yet!

4. Baraka and Mileena mobilise their forces in the outworld desert

5. Master Subzero and and the newly reformed Lin-Kieu clan prepare for the out world invasions

6. Major Jax , Sargeant Major Sonya and new ally Cyrax lead assault team on dangerous mission to assess the situation surrounding the rebirth of the Dragon King.

7. Elder gods in konflict as Shinnok goes mad (again) and destoys some of the elder gods then he returns to earth to wreak his own kind of havoc for the apparent death of Kahn.


8. Lord Raiden is called upon once again to help protect the Earth realm from this new menace by entering the tournament again.


9.Kung Lao and Vomit boy (bo rai chuk) train more warriors for the battles ahead


10.Liu-Kang , once earths champion is now living as an evil spirit in an as yet unnamed shaolin warrior , he now seeks to destroy all the good he once did. (messy) plots to kill Kung Lao and company.( very messy) and assasinate the princess Kitana (shit!)

Cyrax - Can anyone say plasma net? and I miss his teleport looked kool , I miss that too. And for a twist make it so he can self-destruct at any time? (suicides anyone?)


Kung Lao - Make his hat throw guidable please and I miss his topspin! How about he can use his hat as a shield? and add a teleport too like Reikos old spin teleport move.


Subzero - Of course he's back! the Lin Kieu Master who possess the ultimate power of ice! He can now throw ice bombs like in his fatality in MK2 , remember? how about an ice veil which has the same misty look as his ice shaker?

Scorpion - Can now throw fireballs (like early MK:DA version) like Blaze and can teleport as well as throw opponents midair.When he summons hellfire you can now see hundreds of tiny hellspawn in the flames , his giant flaming hand fatality of old is now a special move.(yes I know he's dead too , but he's a spectre)


Kintaro - Sorry guys I had to do it! You just can't keep a good Shokan down. Kintaro was thought to have been banished by Shang Tsung after his miserable defeat at the hands of Liu Kang , however Kintaro rejoined his own clan and contemplated his future having mended his wounds and learnt of the Oni-Warrior Moloch he is now enraged that he has been replaced by this super demon monstrosity! And now seeks to confront Moloch! Although Kintaro's immense size and power are well known he will have to be careful , Moloch is a force to be reckoned with and could quite possibly kill the mighty shokan warrior. (more to come)


Mountain - Ok this is the name i've given to the huge drummer guy in MK:DA. He finally makes his fighting debut in the next tournament.Unlike the rumours in MK:DA you can fight him him if you do get a draw match , he then steps in and if you beat him he becomes playable. Preferred weapons - Big drumsticks and a real bad attitude!


Fujin - Kool guy he may or may not return . he had some very kool moves , loved the double knee strike. His involvement in this game might be just in the story , maybe a hidden characeter you can fight.



Kitana - The Edenian princess once again is caught up in the struggle for freedom ,now the greatest threat ever which threatens Edenia as well , the Dragon King is loose and he is not happy , all who oppose him will die! By the way The Dragon King is way more formidable than Shao-Kahn ever was , sorry Kahn there's a new guy (old guy) on the block and he doesn' like sharing his realms.


Ermac - The crimson clad eater of human souls has returned finally , this time around Ermac has a new master , Lord Reiko. Upon returning to the temple of Kahn , Ermac is shocked to learn that the warlord is dead! He must find a worthy master with whom to provide his great ninja skills and that is Lord Reiko. An uneasy alliance is formed between the 2 and Ermacs first mission is to travel to earth realm to spy on the situation there.Earthrealms greatest warriors are grouping for the fight of their life! Not only the Dragon King but also Lord Reiko.


Jax - Having his arms enhanced even more Jax now has the ability to throw grenades and plant mines during kombat as well as his trusty machine gun. Jax is a more powerful opponent than ever but technology is taking it's toll. He can now shoot down airborn enemies with built in mini-antiaircraft guns (Shit!)

Sonya - Now promoted to Sargeant major and has her own highlty trained squad, she now has an arsenal of throwing knives in her belt which can be thrown and picked up during kombat.She also has her leg grab back and she has a groin punch now (ouch!)


Mokap - Please! no more christmas lights! I beg you Boon......


Frost - The female ice warrior returns somewhat weaker than before but stronger in spirit.She has much untapped potential , but master Subzero is her teacher and he will realise her full potential soon enough.


Jade - For gods sake leave her out of any future MK's "PLEASE BOON"
I'm sure people will sleep better if she stays out of it.....lol
What's a good way to end Jade??? of course have her trampled to death by some of Motaros clan!


Rain - If only , it's stinking hot here! ...... LOL..... I reckon bring back the purple ninja! Shit yeh! The very popular Rain is back and hes' pissed! he wants Kahns blood! Whoops too late..
So Rain being the resourceful ninja that he is seeks a new purpose in life besides being dead and he journeys to .....(more to come)


Reptile - Ahmmm ??????
He could be the new sub-boss.He is evolving into a monstrous dragon but one bad thing , that would make him unplayable , nah bad idea....


Tanya - Nice ass but please don't bring her back , nice ass , didn't sonya kill this bitch? nice ass.She was tracherous! Did I mention she's got a nice ass?


Nightwolf - The master of Spiritual energy returns to the call of this new threat , leaving the reserve after many years of peace , he is more powerful than ever before , he can not only reflect enemy projectiles but can use his opponents energy against them and double it's power.

Smoke - Now a Borg like Reincarnation who has been experimented on by the Dragon Kings sminions in order to make him an even deadlier ninja warrior and to use him to once again destroy Subzero and his apprentice Frost .This new Smoke is more lethal than ever now havng the ability to shoot more than one barbed harpoon at a time and can put up a smoke shield which if touched by any enemy will cause temporary blindness and paralysis! Invisibility rounds out his arsenal.

Lord Reiko - Reiko has been in hiding since the last tournament and during that time he has watched events in the earth realm and outworld , now he's the leader of an enormous legion of highly trained warriors (not invincible) who have been brainwashed by Reiko to wreak havoc on both realms , a confrontation between him and the Dragon King is Inevitable!

Khameleon (female and male) these 2 ninjas are lightning quick assasins who now work for the Dragon King. They are put into service for their new master by completing a dangerous task , they must assasinate the 2 sorcerers and eliminate this deadly alliance so the Dragon King can once again rule supreme over out world.


Stryker - NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO .............. smile
Sorry Stryker fans (if there are any?) This cop as we know returned to active duty after the 3rd tournament and he has no immediate plans on re-entering the fight no matter how bad.Most people only like him for his gun popup combo anyway , I know I do....


Baraka - Baraka once again enters the fight for his own ends (I know he got blown up but hey this is a videogame so I can do what I like ok?), this time around he and his mistress Mileena (the bitch is back) try to form their own alliance in the titanic struggle for absolute power in outworld , a force to be reckoned with he is also aided by a long lost clan member (female nomadic warrior) and a huge army of vicious piranha teethed nomad warriors who have a taste for human flesh (mmm yummy)

Shao-Kahn - As a hidden character you can fight him but not use him (Damn!) After the unexpected attack by the new sorcerers alliance Kahn though strong was no match for their onslaught! Kahn was dealt with swiftly and mercilessly, but was he? Later Kahns bloodied battle helmet is found by a wandering undead warrior who takes it to his master. Guess who? The DragonKing , upon recieving this interesting piece the Dragon King decides to send out hunting parties to determine if the owner of this helmet is truly dead or maybe alive. A possible alliance here maybe or a another threat ..... (more to come)

Kano - Yeh gday mate! (aussie lingo) Yep Kano's gonna be back , I mean is this guy greedy or what? he wants his cake and he want s to eat it too (meaning he wants power like there's no tomorrow). Kano is one character who had the most special moves in previous MK's now he's got only 2! LAME LAME LAME . . .


Noob Saibot - Nope he aint comming back! he's gone back to the shadow realm from where he came and he's not comming back ever , true! He's found a nice little shadow realm female to settle down with (ooh yeh) He might come back in the 7th tournament smile If he does return I hope he has his shadow throw


Liu-Kang - NO WAY! HE'S F..KING DEAD OK??? HE WENT GOT HIS NECK SNAPPED LIKE A CHICKEN!!! THANK GOD!!!
But anyways if he does return his soul could be in another warriors! Hence an evil Liu-Kang (evil Ryu anyone)


Kabal - Found dead in the out world desert by Mavado (in my story mavado did'nt kill him) His respirator mask and armour smashed and his guts spilled to an unknown attacker, a tragic end for this great warrior! Kabal having been a new and powerful ally to the Earth realm has fallen forever.All that reminds us of him now is his hook swords which are now wielded by Mavado ,Kabal will forever live on in the memories of his few closest allies.(sad huh?)


Motaro - While I love the design , another of his race would be interesting in 3D but I dunno??????


New Characters


Viper - A new character of the same race as Reptile , although all his race is believed to be extinct ,Viper has been wandering aimlessly for years suffering amnesia from a previous deadly battle against an unremebered assailant in search of a new home , totally unaware that he is one of only 2 survivors from this race. Reptiles and Vipers paths will cross one day (more to come)

Falkon - My idea for a new Black Dragon rogue member - he uses old style tomahawks as weapons and can throw them with deadly accuracy too! (more to come)

Dairou - Male samurai warrior highly trained in the ways of the Katana , I hope this guy makes it the 6th tourny...

?????? - Female rogue warrior very vicious nomad of the same race as Baraka (more to come)

The 3rd Oni-warrior - Unnamed at this point but as big as Moloch.One idea I have gotten from watching Moloch is the chains that hang off him , obviously at one stage he was chained up so an interesting sub-boss would be 2 of these bastards chained together! Now that would be tough.

Kensou - Closely related to the red ninja called "Ketchup" a very saucy ninja.(joking)

Titanus - A totally new Shokan warrior - This guy puts goro and Kintaro to shame! A hulking killing machine with a difference , this guy preys on other Shokan and kills them , he hates his own race or what's left of it! Alignment - To kick the snot out of anything that gets in his (sorry,it's) way (more to come)


Mist - Totally shrouded in mystery and legend this Female warrior was thought to be a ghost until stumbled upon by shaolin monks on a long pilgrimage.Nothing is known about Mist except that she is in no way related to The Female ninja Frost. An extremely lonely and tragic warrior who is in search of her true identity.Mist is neutral but must one day choose a side to fight for but for now she wonders the living forest and stays away from all that would harm her.


Mohakus - A new shaolin warrior monk who fights with ....wait for it......a musical instrument (old type banjo) (thats all I can think of so far) (more to come) Alignment good


Skarlet - Earth realm ninja thought to be dead after the last great mortal kombat tournament.An elusive and cunning female warrior Scarlet was thought once to be Jades long lost sister but for years noone has seen her , it's like she disappeared into thin air! She owes allegiance to noone and is her own master , she is also a weapons expert especially with the katana. Alignment evil


San-Sou Lee - New Shaolin monk who is friends with Kung Lao and The now dead Liu-Kang he is being trained personally by Kung Lao (more to come) Alignment good

Crimson - Male ninja who was once friends with subzero as a child but a tragic accident sperated them and he was thought to have been killed , this somewhat strange individual has the uncanny ability to see the future ,but only the immediate future (very handy in a combat situation) imagine fighting a ninja who knows your every move even before you do it? Bad!

Spectre - A proto-type new cyberninja (I know everyone hates robots but technology comes into the story you know) This new cyberninja was built as a contingency against the newly rebulit Smoke! This powerful new cyberninja boasts impressive skills , Invisibitiy , instant teleportation (yes like in star trek) An expert with swords for combat and deadly defences like a plasma like shield and ..............he has a taste for twinkys


Vulcanus - Norseman (viking) type warrior with a barbaric past who is a deserter from a great clan of vikings in the outer reaches of the Edenain empire.This guy hates being nice so his attitude generally stinks Alignment as yet undetermined.


Ed Boon - Little is known about this earthrealm warrior except the fact that he eats gummy bears by the thousands - Prefered martial arts style - Ekky Thump , prefered weapon - black pudding sausage! Status - Super Secret Character. (I just had to put this one in-sorry EdBn)


Liu-Kangs little bro? whats his name? maybe a possobility here.....maybe....


Sheeva - Dead dead dead dead dead.........end of story smile


Evil Warrior monk - Yes like the ones floating in front of the portal stages in the old MK games , it's about time we saw some action from these hooded and cloaked figures! I personally believe they can be quite dangerous if provoked. Alignment pending


Dragon King - I've saved the best for last! any ideas people on his appearance and size?

Fatalitys


Ok I know this is an issue lots of people are interested in , so here goes....

4 fatalitys/character - This could include 2 brand new never seen fatalites per player + 2 old school favourite fatalitys redone with new graphics - for example Shang Tsungs Kintaro morph smash and bash fatality.

Bring back the fatality stance great idea Boon IMO....(none of this trying to get the right distance to perform a finisher)

A prime example would be Quan-Chi's leg bash from MK4/gold but this time around he would rip your spine and skull out (yes just like subby) then holding the end of the spine and skull bash the headless corpse to a pulp with it! sick I know , but better than the lame "Neck Stretch" OMG that fatality sucks!


This time around give Shang Tsung the ability to morph and since Quan-Chi is a sorcerer too give him the morphing ability as well (PS3 should be able to cope with this feature I think) but there will be an option to switch off morphing as well. I want replays on fatalitys too and I want to be able to zoom in and out like in Soul Calibur at the end of fights , I want to gloat over my fallen opponent , how about a screen capture mode where you can photograph your favourite fatalities?

At least 1 weapon related fatality/character - I call it butcher your opponent (brutality if you like) very bloody like raw meat sushi! How about calling it weapon brutality? these would be particularly gory! Also when doing a weapon fatality you change into "weapon fatality stance" first and to go one step further you can pause the game and select a weapon.


Pits!!! - Oh yeah bring them back! they are a big yes please. How about pits where spiked walls close on your helpless opponent? or even better collapsing spiked ceilings Squash! (more to come here)


Double Fatalitys - Do a regular fatality then do a stage fatality - double whammy! Could be hard to do as some fatalitys leave nothing but millions of tiny pieces...


Boss Fatalitys - Maybe , it would be kool to see the computer controlled bosses and sub-bosses perform finishers of their own. Look at Moloch? when he defeats you the finish him/her prompt appears. As for doing fatalitys on bosses/sub-bosses? nope.


Weapons - This time around your character can select any weapon in the game but has a default weapon - Example - Subzero/Kori-Blade. And to earn the right to wield other characters weapons you must first defeat that character in Konquest mode - one on one kombat and then you can use their weapon.

Much like in Soul Calibur there is a weapons gallery where you can gloat over your aquired weapons and view them in detail. Maybe even cutomize them too.


Weapons kontinued - To impale or not to impale? that is the question.Well I like the idea of impaling your opponent and letting them bleed to death , Nice aren't I? Well why not go one step further? Make it so you can retrieve you weapon and then stab them again , makes sense to me - this also works if you are impaled too , you can remove you opponents weapon and then impale them!


Martial Arts - Yep! bring em back I like em and make most styles available to every character, imagine Subzero using Reptiles crab style? or Jax using Kitana's fans? Tons of possibilities here ..... LOL.


New Fatality Ideas


I got lots of ideas here but need more time to get them down.


Jax - Grenades For Lunch - Grenades are shoved in your gob while you are still alive and kicking screaming for mercy then Jax clamps you mouth shut with his bionic arms , turns his head away and the top of your head and brains explode as a huge shower of blood n guts spray paint your Tv screen while the lower half of your body explodes into a pile of hot steaming entrails (lovely)

Jax 2nd Fatality - He sticks both his hands into the opponents mouth , one holding the lower jaw and the other holding the upper, he starts pulling while cracking sounds make the opponent to despair only emitting gutural sounds, then jax pulls out and rips the lower jaw and theres lots o blood, finally he throws it and rips one arm and one leg from the opponent, opponent dies - Contributed by mk_sensei (mk5.org member)

Kitana - Fan Enlightenment - Kitana teaches you the fine art of slice n dice with her razor sharp fans , you are literally diced to death (remember the tom & jerry cartoon ,where tom would run through a net? I rest my case)

Titanus - Crucifix - You are turned upside down and each of your 4 limbs is held in place tightly by each of Titanus 4 arms then using immense musclepower he dismembers you as easily as a chicken. Holding your limbs high in victory with a limbless corpse at his feet , he then proceeds to bash the corpse with all 4 of your limbs until a nice bloody pulp is all that's left.

Cyrax - Search And Destroy

Subzero - Icy Death

Shang Tsung - Evil Spirit - Having absorbed the souls of so many lifeforms including outworld demons , Tsung unleashes the spirit of a huge demonlike creature who then proceeds to have sick fun with you , in other words he starts to break off bodyparts like a kid snapping off plastic limbs from a Barby doll (thats gotta hurt)

Ermac - Death By Willpower

Rain - Evil Storm -

Johnny Cage - Hollywood Style Death -

Mileena - I think she can return , someway she survived her sure death from the chasm in MkGold, and she returns thirsty for blood against her twin sister Kitana and the Earthrealm warriors, one of the fatalities I thought for her was: she takes out her sais and bursts the enemy's eyes with them , the enemy screams in pain and despair, finally she smiles and embeds the sais into the enemy's ears while the enemy has massive seizure, blood loss and dies - Contributed by mk_sensei (mk5.org member)

Smoke - Nowhere To Hide - Smoke first paralyses you with his new smoke mist weapon (as mentioned above) Now blinded and immobile you are at his mercy , his chest plate opens and multiple hooks with barbed tips on cables shoot out and grab you then rip you to pieces (Pinhead anyone) the pieces of raw glistening flesh then fall in clumps to the ground.

Scorpion - A New Toasty -

Reptile - Feast Fit For A Reptile - You are completely eaten limb by juicy limb! very gory with lots of blood , meat and crunching sounds as Reptile eats your bones too. (sounds like rice bubbles)

Reptile 2nd fatality - He grabs the opponent from the chin and lifts him/her, then he inflicts a massive mouth kiss to them and starts puking acid inside the opponent, the camera shot closes while the opponent struggles, then he stops and the shot opens just to see reptile holding the enemy from the chin, but the lower body is gone and some parts are burnt from corrosion. lots of blood! - Contributed by mk_sensei (mk5.org member)

Krypt 2

Smaller more concise multi-level Krypt with no more bullshit like empty koffins! Every koffin has a special reward but the catch is some are much more expensive to buy! Also as a special secret have certain koffins that disappear and reappear each time you enter the krypt thus making it more challenging to find and open these ones.


All the old school MK fighting games hidden in the Krypt 2 (I know that's a big must have)


As far as voices in the Krypt - why not have the voices tell you something which are clues to a possible secret (something that was extensively thought of by the MK community)


Another idea I have is to have a little counter somewhere on screen to tell you how many koffins you've opened at a glance or what % overall you have opened and also if you have opened the same koffin more than once , this saves you kurrency bigtime! Better yet how about an onscreen map that shows everything?



A new Konquest mode

Much more in depth konquest mode where you not only have lots more trials to complete , about 30/player but you learn every aspect of you fighter and their history (family tree if you like) Everything will be learnt here from single hit moves to 20+ hit combos even fatalites are taught here (how kool) but only after you've umlocked them in the Krypt.



Endings

I know 50% of you will say yes and 50% will say no , but I want FMV endings! I know it's a lot of work (and friggin time consuming , not to mention expensive) but I really enjoyed the FMV endings of MK4/gold. It's like you get a reward at the end of the game for all your hard work. I like the storyboards with the voice over too as seen in MK:DA so maybe a combination of the 2 ending styles , like in tekken 4 (hmm tekken again)


Another thing with endings you can get a good or bad rank depending on how many flawless victories / finishers and big combos you pulled off during arcade mode as well as earn good kurrency. For example if you finish the game having done no fatalities you get ranked very low , as well if you finish the game having done lots of great combos you get a fair rank.To get the best rank you must do all of the following (this is good because it makes you learn all aspects of the game)


1. You must do a finisher against every opponent

2. You must pull off bigger and better combos

3. Flawless victories - can give you huge kurrency rewards but aren't necessary to an overall good score.They are a bonus and if done only once or twice you will get lots of kurrency and it will help towards your final rank.

4. This is the big one , you must defeat the Dragon King without being cheesy.This will get you an awesome rank in itself , if you finish him by being "cheesy" you will not get good points towards your rank.

Making of MK6 - Very in depth making documantary of the new game , but only unlockable after you complete every characters ending - Running time 60 mins approx

Blooper reel - All the funny stuff , anyone remember the outtakes in Mortal Kombat Mythologies? - Running time 30 mins approx

Isolated music score - How many people love the music from the MK universe but how many get to hear it? Sit back and listen to all the MK music from MK1-MK6 and all the sound effects too.


Ad campaigns and promo stuff - Well since we didn't get a demo disc for MK:DA before it's release , how about one for the next MK? huh? and how about another MK movie too , but only if the 3rd one does well.


Blood level
Anyone seen Shoguns assasin? I want blood extreme people and retain the options to tone the blood down for those days you feel sqeamish!


Special Moves - New And Old


Reptile - Forceballs fast and slow , short and long acid spit , spiked ball , predator style cloak , Slide (oh yeh!) also for something very different he can bite you and regain some of his energy , of course you loose some too smile

Reptile - A new special for Reptile, he can spit a yellow goo to the opponent's eyes and this gives time for him to kick the opponent while he is blind and in despair - Contributed by mk_sensei (mk5.org member)


Jax - Ground pound , gotcha grap, dash punch , back breaker (hell I miss this move) head smash - remember jax head smack fatality from MK2 well I want it as a normal move


Kitana - A real kiss move (like her Mk2 fatality) make her fans guidable? nah but how about making her able to throw her fans flat face parrallel to the ground?



Kano - I liked his knife throw and his blade swipe.What about if he can impale your head with a blade? Now that would be gruesome indeed.



Raiden - One word "Teleport"

Game engine

Same as MK:DA but enhanced and tweaked even further for the new consoles as well.

Hopefully there will be a worldwide release or close to it. I'm sick of this 3-6 mths waiting gap. It sux bigtime.



Stages

Bring back classic stages - like the living forest and the dead pool as well as the some of the most poplular stages form all of the MK games - This adds up to lots of stages about 30 +

No barriers whatsoever / Ringouts - If you can knock your opponent off the edge of a cliff stage for example before the finish him/her prompt then make it possible. But ringouts can be only done by performing a combo otherwise it would get annoying to your opponent to constantly get ring outs!

Multi-level stages - like in MK3 and also make it possible to knock your opponents though walls too and into shallow pools like ponds etc etc.I want a level where you fight knee deep in water so all the swooshing moves of you weapons would create great effects in the water.

Also have stages that are not level , for example you could be fighting on the slope of a mountain or on a beach covered in steep dunes (remember virtua fighter 3?) Or how about on a long and winding staircase?

All arenas have interactive backgrounds where you can pick up things like for example - your fighting in the PIT 6 (like the pit 1) level and all the corpses of fallen warriors lay scattered everywhere , well why not be able to pick up one of their weapons and use it? Another thing comes to mind here - multiple impalements but only on levels where more than one weapon is available to pick up. Another idea I came up with is a warriors tomb level and there are dozens of heavily armed statues from which you can pluck a multitude of different weapons.


You people remember the movie Gladiator? well remember when Ralf Moeller (Haken) the real big guy punched that black guy onto the wall spikes in the pit? how about something like that? gruesome! It wouldn't kill you just hurt you real bad.

Run Button - Hmmmmm .... yes or no? Vote on this I think , but I think I can safely say the run button is gone forever. What about triple tap forward for real quick forward dash?



Select screen


Like in MK:DA but you can pick from 4 globes. I like the old idea of pressing start and the old destiny towers turned to reveal your kombatants , maybe this idea can be worked into the globe destiny style and selecting different globes determines the outcome for your character.


Globe 1 - Apprentice - Easy destiny here where most of your adversaries are lenient on you and the first really challenging battle is the first sub-boss!

Globe 2 - Medium - (chosen by most mortal kombatants)

Globe 2 - Warrior (great fighter who's proficient in all skills)

Globe 3 - Master warrior (only the best dare choose this destiny)



Also something else i've been thinking about too , you can pick from 3-5 alignments as follows


1.Outworld - Evil

2.Eatrhrealm - Good

3 Neutral - For example Scorpion , if you pick him you will fight mostly players from the first 2 realms. Not sure on this , have to give it more thought. While we are on the subject of

Gameplay options


Tag team play (2 on 2) arcade mode very fast and furious fighting

Tag team fatalities - Very gruesome and much harder to pull off , hence much more rewarding too.

Special fatality per allied team , for example Sonya and Jax team up for a dual fatality
Another example , Quan-Chi and Shang Tsung team up for another dual fatality, get the idea?

One on one Vs mode - Simple enough

Arcade mode - Standard player against the computer

Tag Team Endurance - Hmmmm , sounds complex to me smile

Story arcade mode - Like Konquest but with little voice over storyboards along the way telling the story of MK.

Survival mode - Name says it all - Beat the shit out of everyone! you get some energy back after every fight and each opponent you face increases in difficulty by 2-3% so after about 10 fights they get quite tuff.

Boss survival mode - Where you just fight all bosses and sub-bosses both past and present (shit yeh!) Very hard!

Time attack mode - Beat the normal arcade game in the fastest possible time (the shorter the playtime the greater the reward)

Practice Mode - Name says it all ,much like in Tekken you can video your best combos and save them to memory card.Also punch in any combination and press the select button then watch you custom combo.(yay!)

Endurance mode - Like in MK3 Ultimate but only available on the certain options , in other words if you hate endurance during arcade mode you can switch them off. This reminds me there could me much more customisation in this game.


Super Endurance Mode - Here you every character in the game with no rest (not for the beginner) or the faint hearted either.


Mini-Games


Test your sight - Much like in MK:DA , but difficulty increases to where there are 2 MK symbols to find! ( much harder hey?)

Test your might - Much like in MK:DA , but you can choose what kind of break you want to do for example - use your leg or arm and different styles like knife hand strike or axe kick.

Test your accuracy - for example Scorpion has to hit a bullseye with his spear
Kano can throw his knife or use his eyelaser to hit a bullseye , you get the idea? (difficulty increases to extreme!)

Test your knowledge - Answer questions from the elder god Raiden (trivia if you like)
This mini-game will go up to level 50. So it keeps getting harder and harder to answer also on higher levels he will ask you more than one question in a row , maybe a true or false option here.

Test your speed - This test is where you have to perform certain task at lightning quick speed! A jigsaw puzzle that when finished is a picture an MK character or MK realm , the more difficult the level the more the pieces to solve and the less time to do it in.


One more thing here as well - I would like an option so you can up the gambling stakes on any mini-game , so you might bet everything on a mini-game and if you win you double your kurrency! this makes for more intense mini-game action I think.


Animalities / Freindships and Babalities And Other Finishers


This is tricky

I truly think animalites love em or hate em truly have a place in future mortal kombat games because if they are done properly and detailed they will be great I think.

An example - Shang Tsung turns into a huge demon (his true form maybe) and devours you (you get the idea) I know it's been talked about before on here.


Friendships - why not , they were good for a laugh but try to make them funny but not silly


Babalities - I don't know about this one , imagine Drahmin as an infant? lmfao! How about something really sick like fatalitys on your opponent after you've turned them into a a baby? Baby in the Pit anyone - OMG! the censors would have a field day!


Nudealities - It'll never ever happen


Brutalities - I liked them

Secrets

A very big "YES" to this.

I want to see real secrets! not things that people can read about on the net. When I say secrets I mean secrets , Everybody remembers MK II with Jade and Smoke hiding in the Living forest? I want to see lots of stuff like that - For example - to find and fight the hidden character Shao-Kahn you must answer certain questions given to you by Lord Raiden in the test you knowledge mini-game and than piece together other clues to find him and when you do find him you are presented with a short fmv sequence explaining how he survived the deadly alliance and has hidden in the underworld. (something like that)


I want to see a few more super secret hidden players and some secret stages too. Heres one I've been thinking about as well - when the game is in attract mode (your not playing it and it runs through demo-mode) you are given very quick little clues that lead to possible secrets. Stuff like that. For example it might say in Raidens voice:

"To find and fight a once mighty fallen warlord , you must first prove yourself in the pit of hell"

Stuff like that.....



Kombat Kodes - Yes or no? haven't thought much about this one yet ......

I just did some calculatons on the button combonation idea I had and if they put that in there, then it is possible that each character can have over 14000 regular attacks!! I know it sounds like BS, but it's true. I'll try to finish typing all the combonations and then I can show them here.

o and also heres a lil tip as much more characters in the game as much complicated and bad it gets seriously

and also talk about subzero and smoke's history togheter they were best friends untill lin kuei were turning the ninjas to robots and sub zero was able to make a run and smoke got left behind

I might as well post my plot for MK6. If something similar to this has already been posted, sorry. I don't like reading long threads, but I sure do like typing them! smile Anyways, back on topic. K, my plot for MK6 is as follows:

There was no clear victor for MKDA, so everyone but Liu Kang is still alive. Quan Chi secretly resurrects the Dragon King while Shang Tsung is away. When Tsung comes back, he finds the Dragon King alive and Quan Chi nowhere to be found. The Dragon King is NOT Reptile, (tongue) and is just some random monster dude. Anyway, the Dragon King explains how he was brought to the realms. Then he says he absorbed Quan Chi and all the other people in MKDA for more power, since his army was dead and he got power from them. So, Shang Tsung gets really pissed and fights the Dragon King, but loses miserably. He barely escapes, and hides somewhere while the Dragon King searches for him in his palace. (He managed to blind the DK long enough to get away.)So, he's thinking about how to kill the DK, when he finally realizes he has no choice but to bring Liu Kang back to life and team up with him. He does so, but after he tells Liu Kang the situation, Liu Kang's all like, "Why should I help you? It was your friend who unleashed the Dragon King." And Shang Tsung makes this huge speech (I have it written down, lol) and Liu Kang finally is convinced to join. (All that convinced Liu is the fact that Kitana was absorbed.) So, it's a new deadly alliance. tongue Sort of....After reading this over, this sounds like a good fanfic....Ed Boon, please don't copy this as a plot. If you do, give me credit. LOL. Tell me what you think, people. smile

in the next mk please can each character have more then one fatality and bring back the stage fatalities!! i'd also like to see Sub-zero in full lin keui outfit the way he should be. finally for the story what if outworld is in chaos after the breakdown of the deadly alliance and everybody is fighting for control. oh yeah i noticed scorpion came to a sticky end in mk:da please don't kill him off (it wont be the same)and bring back liu kang. Cheers

I want animalities and one fatality,
Returning character:
Kano, Kung lao, Nitara, Sonya, Jade, Sub-Zero, scorpion, smoke, siro (mk:conquest), raiden, kitana, mileena, ermac, drahmin( Human Form ), Rain, sektor.
Hidden:
Dragon king, Motaro (with his body covered with full of with armor).

New Characters:
Boa-A new reptilian creature with black snake skin instead of a green skin and black armor with spikes covered around his body except the face the topper portion of his legs and bottom portion of his arms.

Hidden New characters:
Komodo-A hidden character who's huge version of mk:da reptile with silver armor with spikes covered around his body except the face the topper portion of his legs and bottom portion of his arms.

Non-returning characters-
Jax- killed by kano at the beginning.

Blind Kenshi- reaches a very old age and retires.

Bo rai cho- Dies during his very old age.

Johnny Cage- Killed by the dragon king at the beginning.

MK wish list?

After many years waiting for it, MD:DA was worth the 50 bucks I spent. I'm very happy with how it turned out, because it could have been a lot worse (like an ultimate MK gold) instead an original and fresh idea emerged and rekindled everyone's imaginations about the MK lore. The MK series is going in a great direction, but it's upsetting to me that it's no longer headed that way. The whole "recreating" thing has me worried. I was hoping they'd improve MK:DA the same way they did MK2 from MK1 making a great (if not the greatest) MK to date. Instead they have decided to scrap it and start again. I wouldn't mind spending another 50 on an expanded and updated MK:DA. It has weak points that need tweaking.
Combo System
The combo system is good but complex for some gamers. The innovative but complex combat system of multiple button pressing just to fight is a turn off to some newer fans and old school fans used to the old system. A simpler system integrating the two hand to hand fighting styles into one and leaving the weapon style separate would make things easy for the novice and the pro. The preset combo chains also needs some work. In my opinion maybe the preset chains should be deleted all together and free form chains should be implemented. This would give the player a lot more combat options and allow for more personalized combos. limiting the fighting makes for less playability, free form combos would mean countless hours of trying new things and creating your own personal chains. Special move wise I was confused with MK:DA. Why did Sonya have Lui's dragon kick? Where did her Sonic Rings go?
Special Moves
Where did a lot of special moves go? Characters such as Sonya, Kung, and Reptile loosing their special moves (Leg grab, Sonic Spin, Force Balls) was slightly depressing, having them replaced with other fighters special moves or less useful moves was slightly irritating. I would beg Boon to give them back or integrate them with the existing new special moves if I had the chance.
Those old moves are what gave a long time player familiarity to those characters. With them replaced, the old characters felt like new ones too, but in a negative way. Its that familiarity that brings a person back for seconds. (What ever happen to scorpion's crescent leg grab?)
Costumes
A mixed bag in my opinion. You have the amazing work done for Shang, Nitara, Frost, Sub, Scorp, and a lot of the other fighters. then there is the weird and almost out of place looks of Jax, husu (I cannot stand this character), Cyrax, and Reptile (why is his look so cartoony?). I didn't understand the yellow ghetto garb or even his main outfit at all. He was very over accessorized and reminded me and some friends of the boxer from Killer Instinct more that Jax (at his best in MK2). Cyrax and his cyborgyness was also kinda scary. When it comes to modern or futuristic clothing you should remember KISS (not the band) Keep It Super Simple. I would have liked to have been able to choose some of the outfits secondary colors (this has long since been a problem in MK games) but that option of picking secondary colors hasn't made it to the discussion table yet. Since this is a wish list, I will ramble a little more and ask maybe there could have been more costumes per fighter? Movie costumes, original mk1 mk2 costumes, maybe even fan created costumes would have been great.
Stages
The stages were excellent. Unfortunately, when you play a game hundreds of times, back grounds start becoming repetitive (costumes too, but I ranted on that already, lol). My only solution would be more stages, but maybe there is a better solution?
Stage Interaction
I have to say, I have nothing negative to say about the inviso walls. Personally, I find them quiet interactive and useful. The walls are probably the most dangerous part of the game if you get knocked into one, they cause a lot of damage. maybe in the future a Hit Counter in the Option Menu could be given to them allowing a wall to give in after a number of hits and a player could fall (or fry, or disintegrate) to their death.

It may be just me, but I find the combatant in MKda to be short. They have a very cartoony quality that makes them appear short and exaggerated. They lack human dimensions and in some cases look very "Rare" (Nitara looks very B.Orchid and Jax very TJ Thunder) Bringing back the realistic look to MK lost in MK4 would be a big plus. The fighters also tend to not fit into some of the fighting environments. Some of the arenas are very realistic while the fighters very bright. The vivid colors clash with the environments making them look out of place.
Final Say
I do have my personal favorite characters I would like to see in the next MK. I liked Sindel and Jade because of their ambiance (and their names don't end with an "ah" like Sonya, Kitana, Sheeva, Nitara, should I go on?) I also liked Rain and Kintaro. It would be nice to play as them again. And OMG please no more cheap booses/midbosses. Instead of cheaping them out, make them smarter. I cannot tell you how many times I cursed the name of the creator of Molock for making him so cheap. There is more, when I get the chance, I will continue. Thank you for reading what I had to say. I'll keep my wishlist short, i would love to see some sort of humiliation ( i loved it when it was installed in Killer Instinct).

Or let the beaten opponent beg for mercy...

And like many others have more interaction with the arena's. And ofcourse KEEP SCORPION ALIVE!!!!!!

A hybrid system sounds cool but the programming would rake forever. plus different styles cannot be molded into one, for instance take hapkido it will not bold very well with a snake style. Just my thoughts....

I would love to see many characters come back. Sektor, Human smoke, Cyborg smoke, Ermac, etc. Plus the create a character isnt a bad idea... i was looking under the mk kourier site and saw some of the fake characters that they made up. this is tight. but just one problem comes with that....animations. if scorpions spear is going into a made up character as a special AND you were going to change it a little, they would need and animation editor. my thoughts again...

i agree with the conquest mode was somewhat stupid. of course it will help learn the moves but i think they should have a spinoff of that. take for instance tony hawk how you can buy tricks but in this case you have to do the knoquest in order to gain the fatality, special 1, etc.

i havent unlocked the suposed mk basketball conceptfurious but that wouldnt be a bad idea for fun in the game. Have the lin kuei vs the black dragons in a basket ball match that fighting was aloud. lol

i dont care how bad they sound but if the stroy is going to follow the Dragon King thing then possible names are:
Mortal Kombat: Reptile's Revenge
Mortal Kombat: Dragon King
MK6
Mortal Kombat: Darkest Hour
lol-> Mortal Kombat: Day of Reptiles

I understand that some fighting styles dont or couldnt blend (crab) but taking those that could and putting them together to make a complete fighting style would be nice. Maybe that may not be the best idea, but now not being able to jump straight up allows an extra direction to be used for ground attacks. The fighters have a limited amount of attacks in each style, more could have been added, if a stlye of fighting didnt have alot of flashy kicks and punches, merging is a great way patch it up. I mean maybe you could do one move by taping back, another by holding back and another by tapping then holding back (like tekken and soul calibur that has been used as an example by the designers) not to mention quarter and half cresents, back forward commands. a huge moves list is not a negative thing :)

I am for a create a fighter. The only resone i bought the last three wwe games for ps2 is for the create a wrestler feature. Im not joking. I have created MKDA Sonya and Kitana (Kitana would look better is i could get the Razor Ramon lookalikes hair on her but the options for female created wrestlers is very limited, while males get everything) Its the persons own right if they want to make a pink bunny fighter or create Chun Li to lay the smack down in there MK game. I remember someone saying it would be horrible if they made that feature avalible because of the pink bunny, so silly. I still play "Shut Your Mouth" often, more often than MKDA because of the creation option (always have new ideas, just created Queen Kong from the 80's GLOW) I would ask the MK designers to sit and create on the game for a while and get a feeling for the games creation mode. There are two other things that need improvement, one is the fact that everything on the created fighter is "painted" on, things like trench coats and capes look silly. Also, created fighters sometimes look out of place because of thier facial reactions. blagh, so very tired, night all.

Yeah a "create a fighter" would indeed be very cool, but difficult to make. i also hope they'll think about it.

instead of having a short ending just relating to that game, they shoudl have somehting called a legacy, which is a video where they show you everything about the characters storyline, and after that show every finisher from mk1-DA that includes ALL finishers, all the alities

Here it is, certainly there are ideas on this forum to use by the mk development team, that is why I hope they read them.

FATALITY CONCEPT
Note: if all characters have 2 fatality’s it would be nice to have friendships. Many seem to agree that fatality should use the camara more often, example:

Jax fatality: Very hard to handed hit on let’s say J.Cage, Cage fly’s towards camara then hit’s with upper body on the camara and stays stuck, eyes and mouth are still slightly moving(blood comes out of mouth and one eye), then in the background you hear+ see Jax running towards Cage, Jax hits Cage his head. Head explodes, + screen is cracked+ lot of blood on screen + an ear + brain parts, and now Jax poses.

PIT fatality CONCEPT
Note: it would be awesome if the player not performing the pitfatality still have control over to outcome of the pitfatality, example:

Acid bath pit fatality: (player 1 performs the pit fatality, Rain gets hit), Payer 1 performs the Pit F. Rain fly’s in the acid, he in bubbles and a little bit of smoke are visible, Rain comes up again yelling, goes down again, comes up again, he is dead(he looks green as seen in reptiles fatality.
BUT: when player one performs fatality and Rain(player 2) presses let’s sey the up+X button Rains fly’s in the acid, comes up yelling, try’s to climb a wall during climb(still yelling, because the acid is melting away his skin) it becomes visible his legs have disappeared(smolten) and suddenly his arm breaks, he fall back in the acid, moments later with only his head(no lower body) coming up again.



STORY CONCEPT

~Kano the man with 2 souls, one of his own and the other from Lui Kang.

~Dragon King is only defeated by one that is good, that one can only defeat him at the cost of his live.

~Shoa Khan, emperor of outworld is still alive, his body might be dead but Sindel will ......... new body.

SECRETS CONCEPT
~The character select screen should contain an extra “sword” like the level select sword, this sword cotains several unlockable options, 90% of the options are unlocked by buying a tomb in the krypt II, these options should be:
-Toasty man (on /off), + other 2D stuff on the screen like: 2D Rayden flying across the screen, or...(the options are endless)
-1 buton fatality
-no bars
-no heads
-big heads
-2D, fighting/ old style MK1 fighting
-invisible fighters
--Fight on a 2D background you created your self or somebody else! loaded from the internet!!(this is easy to do and fun)
- .the possible options are endless

~It should really be possible to use the portal in the next portal level in mk6, example at a certain point during battle the player is aquired to push a button sequence, this will activate the portal, the player is then transported to a hidden level and will fight a hidden fighter, if the player is able to defeat the hidden fighter both level and fighter are unlocked(it should not be easy to defeat this hidden fighter (example, Ermac).

~Make meat return, he could be used for some fatality’s, I noticed that many did not like to play as meat saying he was a cheap character, than make it really a big difficult to find out secret to play as meat.


~The KRYPT II
Start in a big room with different doors (5< ) to be unlocked, they can be unlocked by finishing different parts of the game, like finishing arcade on the very hard difficulty once, finishing the game on the hard difficulty opens an other door.

What should the krypt contain? It should contain all bonus games, it is the place to pay 20 ruby coins to play space invaders.
It should contain 90% of all secrets in the game.
I certainly would like to see all concept sketches(+fan art) for mk6 and previous mk games, but this time around have 1 tomb contain several sketches in stead of one.


GAMEPLAY CONCEPT
~Introduce unblockablemoves, example: Rayden charches 2-3 seconds and performs his superman move.

The short range jump kick with the hand shoul be a combo starter as seen in MKT


EASY IMPROVEMENTS
~Example: again as in mk 4 Rayden was given a wooden weapon: if it where black with silver writings on them it would have looked better.

~ The music when the credits come along when you have finished the game is really bad, surely you could have selected a better one.

~Many would like to see the return of endurance matches.

~Have little bugs walk and fly around in some levels would be nice.

~Have a frozen statue of Frost in a playable level.

not returning: Kenshi, Bo rai cho, Blaze, Frost
replaced by: Ermac, Noob Saibot, Baraka, Goro, Kintaro, Rain or human Smoke and 4 new characters,

I would like to see SOMETHING else! wow Anything! I mean come on, I spent 50 bucks for ONE Fatality and this Krypt full of sketches and krap I don't give a flying F**k about furious ? I'm sorry but when I shelled out the cash I was thinking about how much fun it was finding all the secret stuff. If I wanted a plain old fighting game I would've bought Tekken.

Characters Keep the MK5 characters except for Bo Rai Cho and add people like Reiko, Mileena, Barka, Ermac, Rain, Noob Saibot, Smoke, Sektor and Kabal. But give them a more interesting, in-detail, persuading stories and alternate outfits. Have each fighter have two fighting styles and weapons. Have each characters have intros for each stage. Such as the Lava Shrine, have Scorpion come out the lava or shadows. Have all characters taunt, use reversal and impale. Have the characters get ripped clothes and visible cuts, bruises gashed ect. Have each characters have two or more fatalities. Have broken bones like in Tao Fang, if you constantly hit a certain part, have it break or cut off with weapons. Gameplay Have more attacks and quicker retaliation. Make Konquest mode have more information and more fights. Have realistic blood and weapons. Have some kinda BR:PF effect, like when you hit them off building and cliffs, but still live for the next round. Fatalities Like CheifThunder said, have 4 fatalties: two classics and 2 new ones. Stages Have more stages, plus originals like The Pit. Have interactive environments like breaking through walls, windows, grounds, swing on poles, bats (weapons lying on the floor) ect. Have stage fatalities and interesting things in the backgrounds like humans or oni. Story Shang Tsung and Quan Chi rise The Dragon King and are betrayed and turned into mindless beast under power. Meanwhile, Drahmin and Moloch go back to Hell and rise Kun- Lo (The masks face) and he tears the mask from Drahmin and rage fuels Drahmin, making him stronger. Scorpion's soul found a way to hell and is stronger. Sub-Zero also stars and Frost comes in as a special character. When Sub-Zero and Frost are away, the Red Dragon clan attacks the Lin Kuei. Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are Sub-bosses and Kun Lo and The Dragon King fight and merge into one or you fight them twice for the championships.

Didn't read everyones post but here's what I'm wishing for.

1) Fatalities: 3 Per character

2) Stage/Pit Fatalities: 2 Different stage/pit fatalities per screen that allows stage/pit fatalities plus different ways of doing stage/pit fatalities per character (not the same stage/pit fatalities for every character).

3) Friendships & Babalities: 2 Friendships per character, 1 babality.

This may seem like much but this technology has come a long way & it is possible to have this & still have much more in the game.

robots and animals like reptile shouldnt be in the game...

Respectfully, I strongly disagree with you. What makes MK so special from the bland and dull DOA is MK's characters and storylines as well as it's unrealistic/hyper-realistic world full of supernatural and outworldly characters. MK has its honor and DOA has ripped-off characters like Christie (rip off of Tekken's Nina Willams) and they have the Bruce Lee guy (Gee...no one has ever done that before!! tongue). MK has a stronger and far more interesting storyline, but the MK series been underrated. MK really does have the strongest feeling out of all the fighting series. Tekken has some good characters but the storyline lacks some depth and the fighting is a bit on the sluggish side. Reptile is more reptilian because he's de-evolving due to his race's near extinction.
