If you ss and take it in the air after you hit him with some tm's and taven's combo you should be fine.
I beat him the first time easy idk im just used to ss early.
However on max he's harder in the konquest.

No see, Raiden in general made me mad. I want so badly to rave about the game but...I know I'll get in trouble so I own't say anything.

MINION makes really tight sigs!he made my fricken awesome one!thanks bro again!
Not really a traitor though. He just believed in good faith that an alliance of Shao Kahn, Onaga, Shang Tsung, and Quan Chi would just leave Earth alone once they received the power cosmic. I don't think "completely moronic" counts as treason.
As for the fight, I thought it was the easiest one later on in Konquest. Reiko, Shao Kahn (from the monolith), Daegon, and Blaze gave me more trouble.

Believe it or not, I had more trouble with Rain and Daegon more then anyone else.
Blaze was a snap, even compared to Raiden, who still wasn't as much trouble as Rain.
In the end, I suppose it's the combos you used and how you executed your personal tactics.

Raiden wasnt a problem after the first round(he beat the s##t out of me the first round) the hardest fights were Reiko(took me 10 tries),Rain(5 tries),and Goro(7 tries).Daegon and Blaze was easy
I have a theory:
First time they're hard, second time they're easy, and third time it's child's play.
I figured this out because every time you fight an opponent, you learn how they fight. Thats how i found him easy. I played him in deception. I think that both good and bad are equal.

First off, you'll get better; fighting games are easy to master.
Second, for me, Raiden was among the easiest to beat. It's Rain that's hard as hell.

I agree that Raiden wasn't so much being a traitor as being a complete nipple head thinking that earth realm won't be spared.
He wasn't that bad to fight as I had more problems with Moloch,Rain,Reiko, and Daegon.

Weren't you listening to him when he confronted Taven? Raiden made a deal with Shao Kahn that if he killed Taven, thusly preventing him from killing Blaze, that he and his allies would spare Earthrealm. Sure, Raiden used to give a crap about Edenia and the other realms but really, his only responsibility is Earthrealm. The fact that he's given a crap about other realms and has let mortals fight for their homes and didn't just blast everything to kingdom come when there was a threat made Raiden way too nice of a god. His serving as a mentor might have helped guys like Liu Kang and Kung Lao with their own personal issues and soul-searching but it needlessly put Earthrealm in danger. The flaws with this style of defending Earthrealm became all too clear when the Deadly Alliance killed Liu Kang and suddenly, we find out that the champions of Earthrealm couldn't do crap without him. This new Raiden may not be cuddley or sympathetic but he knows the score. By letting mortals fight amongst themselves and entrusting the fate of Earthrealm to people who could die with a simple twist of a neck or be corrupted/fooled just as easily, Raiden let the likes of Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung get away too many times and had Quan Chi gain Shinnok's amulet. This new, hands-on and straight-to-the-point Raiden could do wonders for Eathrealm's safety...provided that the universe survives Armagedon.
As for the fight with Raiden in Konquest, I find it very challenging every time I fight him. I know the first time I ever fought him it took me a while and chances are, I never beat him in one try even after having played Konquest dozens of times. I think he's harder than just about everyone in Konquest except for Moloch in the optional Neatherrealm obelisk and Blaze at the end.

Thanks. Uh, hypothetically speaking, if you WERE to make me a sig, would I be able to keep the one I have now and yours at the same time or would that excede the site's sig limit? And if it the collection of sigs were too large, could I get an avatar instead...Hypothetically speaking of course.
Great...now I've gone and killed of whatever coolness I got from my rant.
Getting back on topic, sort of, am I the only that found that Rain was uncharacteristically difficult considering how early in Konquest you fight him?
