Quit whining like a little bitch. Raiden become like a vigilante is the best thing that ever happened to him just like Liu Kang becoming a zombie was the best thing to happen to him. Why do some of you hate change so much? "Yay, the characters are stale and predictable! WOO!" Kind of explains why Scorpion is still so popular...

scorpion is still one of the top fan brings and his stoy has changed only a hair from what it was in mkt. and i think kang being a corspe and raidens temper tamtrum is the worst thing ever to be made. i would have had raiden not playable utill this. so shut your trap noob

You're more of a noob than he is, the way you act. Besides, you pretty much proved his point. I think Raiden going off the deep end was a nice change to his linear, monotonous story.

Thanks. Thunderstudent has proven many time that it is a moron so I don't worry too much, especially when he agrees with most of what I say and just rewords it. MKD Raiden>>>>>>MK/MKII/MKT/MK4 Raiden>MKDA Raiden.
Also, just calling me a n00b with no actual understanding of what the actual 'insult' means just shows the fact it is you rather, who is the n00b.

Sorry Leo, I just realised I didn't actually comment on the ending. It was, as usual, phenomenal. I don't know what to make of Sareena's involvement (as I've never played MKMSZ or MKTE) but from what little I do actually know of her character, you've integrated her effortlessly and with great result.

I loved this ending. For some reason I liked the fact Sektor seemed to be nonplussed about Cyrax until he started getting his arse kicked. He treated him more like an annoyance than an actual threat which was kind of cool. The ending worked well as well as Sektor's death. It is more or less imminent. Kudos as usual and I wait patiently for your next ending.

Oh yeah, to some of the people posting here - do try to remember these are fan-made endings. They are wholly uncanon and are not featured in the game nor the MK storyline at all. Whoever gets killed off here doesn't necessarily get killed off in Armageddon.

You guys have been commenting on and reading these endings since practically the beginning, and I promised that as long as everyone kept it up, I would keep writing more, and I wont disregard that! tongue

I know it's been 2+ full days, guys, but here's the latest ending: FROST! This also shows more of the finality of Sub-Zero and Sonya (although there is very little more to Sonya's that still hasn't been shown in the endings up to now). I gotta say I really liked this ending, and it could be one of my favorites. Check it out!

FROST (SUB-ZERO, SONYA)

When the scene starts, we instantly see Sonya Blade performing a flip towards the screen. Her boots are about to “strike” it when the screen spins around in a split second to show us that it is Kobra who is falling victim to her attack, her legs wrapping around his neck tightly (we see his face has been through some heavy punishment, and towards the bottom left of the screen we can see a deep slash across his right arm, apparently caused by a powerful blade). Sonya now spins sideways while plummeting her body downwards. This causes Kobra to be smashed headfirst into the ground as a loud thud echoes through the area. Sonya now goes on to land a kick full into Kobra’s face, sending him sliding head-over-heels across the rough terrain. She is about to dash after him to make sure he is dead when Kira charges at her from behind, bringing down on her one of her Dragon Teeth. Sonya barely manages to block this attack with her right hand, immediately getting to her feet in order to face Kira. For the first time in the scene, we get a good look at Sonya’s face, and (although not nearly as damaged as Kobra’s or even Kira’s) we can see that she has not gone untouched through these battles. Sonya strikes Kira in the face with a high kick and throws a punch, which Kira ducks under, immediately taking this chance to cut Sonya’s side with her Dragon Teeth. Sonya groans at the sudden, stinging pain, but still retaliates as she rotates with a devastating spinning kick that has Kira spinning midair continuously before landing hard on the jagged ground (drops of blood flying through the air at this attack). It is then that we see Jax fall on his back right in front of Sonya, followed by Mavado, who charges at him baring his Hookswords. Jax is quick to react as he rolls to the side, evading the incoming weapon, then grabs Mavado’s left arm and, with a well-aimed kick, flings the Red Dragon member out of sight.

Jax (looking over at Sonya): “You alright?”

Sonya: “I’m fine, even though Kenshi suddenly vanished! We need to get rid of these guys faster...” (she glances over at the fallen Kira and Kobra.) “Only three of them left!”

Jax: “We can take ‘em! WHOA!”

At a startling pace, Kabal suddenly lands a potent punt kick to Jax’s jaw, causing him to slide out of our view as well. Sonya sends two high kicks his way, but Kabal dodges the first and blocks the second, then quickly dashes out of scene in Jax’s direction with his Super Dash. Sonya is about to run to her ally’s aid when a blade suddenly cuts through the air behind her and lands on the back of her left leg. Sonya yelps, then reaches for the blade and pulls it off. As she glances at it, she notices it is almost entirely covered in ice. She turns to try and see who her attacker was, and manages to catch a glimpse of someone wearing blue running atop a mountainous area in the distance. With a last look at Jax (she notices he is now overpowering Kira, while Mavado has recovered and is back to attacking Kabal) she dashes into the distance towards her latest attacker.

The screen now shifts to show us Cyrax as he slowly gets up from the floor (three drops of oil drip from his right leg) and looks in Sonya’s direction curiously. The screen shows us what he sees: the agent running towards the top of the mountainous area afar, and, to his surprise, a red cyborg making his way to the pyramid just parallel to Sonya, his eyes in her direction. Cyrax recognizes the cyborg, and fearing for Sonya’s safety, runs off in his direction.

The scenery now changes completely, and we are soon looking at an exhausted Sub-Zero as he catches his breath whilst leaning on his sword, pieces of ice scattered near the cyborg Smoke’s feet. The screen now shifts to a position near the ground and zoomed out, focusing on Sub-Zero. Unexpectedly, the ground in front of the screen begins to get covered by a thin layer of ice. This layer increases in size, growing in Sub-Zero’s direction. The screen follows it until it gets inches away from Sub-Zero’s feet. The Lin Kuei Grandmaster finally notices this, and looks at the ice covering the ground, a puzzled expression on his face.

Sub-Zero: “What in the world is this?”

Before he can even properly finish his baffled statement, the former Lin Kuei Frost suddenly materializes behind Sub-Zero and tackles him hard. He is pushed into the thin layer of ice, and almost loses his balance as he slides across it quickly. Smoke charges at Frost with a quick jab, only to have the female ninja evade it effortlessly (Smoke is greatly damaged from his battle with Noob Saibot) and send him flying off-screen with with a straight kick. She then turns to Sub-Zero once more, dematerializes, and reappears on the opposite side of the thin layer of ice she created. She now waits until Sub-Zero is close enough to her, and immediately lands three diverse punches to his face before finishing off the combo with a spinning kick to his neck, which knocks him into the ground a good distance from Frost. We get a close-up shot of her menacing eyes, contorted into an icy glare as looks intently at her victim.

Sub-Zero (sitting up, groaning in pain): “Frost?! You’re... alive?”

Frost: “More than ever! Sorry to disappoint you... sifu!”

Sub-Zero: “Disap— what are you saying?”

Frost does not reply, however, and instead, hurls her Ground Freeze in Sub-Zero’s direction. The Grandmaster refuses to fall victim to another one of her attacks, and quickly jumps back up and lands sideways, evading the projectile. In a sudden attempt to catch Sub-Zero by surprise a second time, Frost then materializes once again behind him, hastily sending a straight punch towards him. Sub-Zero blocks the attack, as well as a combination of more punches and kicks that follow, then grabs a hold of Frost’s right arm and flips her over his head, causing her to land on her rear.

Sub-Zero (still grabbing a hold of her arm so she cannot attack): “Stop this mindless assault this instant, Frost! If you are doing this out of fear that I might attack you because of your betrayal, you needn’t worry!”

Frost: “You were an idiot to leave me in those icy ruins, hoping for my death! If you had taken the time to make sure I was dead, you wouldn’t need to worry about me now!”

Frost kicks from the ground and flips herself backwards, striking Sub-Zero in the face with both feet and successfully freeing her right arm from his grasp. As soon as her former sifu turns to face her, she punt-kicks him in his midsection, then goes on knee him full in the face as he doubles over, knocking him off his feet. Frost then takes out her remaining Ice Dagger, growls angrily, and attempts to impale the fallen Sub-Zero, who quickly sits up and blocks the attack. Hoping to cease Frost’s frantic assault, he freezes her forearm holding the dagger so that she cannot attempt to slash him again, then performs a leg sweep that brings his attacker down on contact. Once Frost’s body lands, Sub-Zero then freezes her left forearm in hopes of stripping her of her ability to continue the attack.

Sub-Zero: “You will not gain anything by this mindless attack, Frost! You have clearly misunderstood what has happened since we last saw each other... you just need to hear me out!”

Frost: “How cowardly of you to try and sway me with your dishonesty!” (she glances at her frozen forearms). “You think you can incapacitate me with such a frail attack?”

With an amazing show of strength, Frost raises herself up once more and smashes Sub-Zero with both of her frozen forearms, breaking the ice covering them while damaging her opponent. Sub-Zero staggers backwards, then manages to dodge two of her incoming punches, only to be sent sliding across the terrain by a powerful flying kick. Frost exercises her wrists casually as to recover from the numbness, then starts making her way slowly towards Sub-Zero.

Frost: “You are clearly incapable of defeating me, sifu. I am surprised... I hoped you would at least be a challenge, since I expected much more of you considering how impressive of a fighter you were during my training. This will only bring about your death even faster!”

Frost closes in on Sub-Zero, preparing her Ice Dagger, when a purplish projectile suddenly hits the ground near her feet, exploding on contact and sending Frost flying sideways, finally crashing into a boulder nearby. Sub-Zero looks to his right to see Sonya leap from atop a mound in his direction.

Sonya: “Are you alright?”

Sub-Zero: “I’m fine... but there is something wrong with Frost! She has never shown this kind of hostility before!”

Sonya: “Yeah, as far as you know...”

Sub-Zero looks peculiarly to Sonya, but has no time to utter a remark as Frost recovers from the attack angrier than ever.

Frost: “Damn you! Your interruption will cost you your life!”

Sonya: “Finally showing your true face, huh? Took you long enough to put down the act!”

Frost: “Silence! Your petulance has just bought you an icy grave!”

Sonya: “Did you come up with that all by yourself?”

Frost roars furiously, then charges at Sonya. She swings her Ice Dagger towards the lieutenant, who evades the weapon, and spins around with a strong kick to the back of Frost’s head. Her rage growing, Frost swings her fists repeatedly at Sonya, only to have all of her attacks avoided by her opponent. Sonya now finally attempts to go on the offensive and sends a straight punch to Frost’s face. The female ninja impressively enough ducks the incoming attack and strikes Sonya in the back with a speedy kick. Sonya begins to turn around to face Frost once more, but suddenly feels her body become quickly encased by ice. Her opponent now lands a flying kick to Sonya, and as the ice shatters, the OIA agent is knocked off balance and falls on her back. Frost dashes triumphantly to her fallen foe in hopes of finishing her off; as she closes in, however, Sonya raises her right leg forcefully and strikes Frost directly in the jaw, popping her into the air for a quick moment. She uses this moment to hurl her Armed Forces projectile, which once again bursts in contact and flings Frost even further into the air. As she falls towards the ground, Sonya once again acts in her own benefit by performing the Inverted Bicycle Kick and landing a combination of kicks to Frost, who immediately after comes crashing down onto the floor.

But she is not defeated yet; as Sonya descends with a dropkick, Frost rapidly rolls backwards to dodge the attack, then rises with an uppercut. Sonya sidesteps the uppercut, but is struck by two of Frost’s following jabs. Before her adversary can recover from them, Frost freezes Sonya a second time and attacks Sonya with a third move, cupping both of her hands together into a fist and knocking the agent backwards, the ice shattering once more. Sonya is dazed for a moment, which Frost attempts to take advantage of with a flying kick, only to have it evaded in the knick of time. Sonya ducks under the kick, then surprisingly enough impales Frost in the back with her missing Ice Dagger.

Sonya: “You dropped that!”

Frost reaches for the blade and pulls it off, grunting in pain.

Sub-Zero (now standing): “Sonya, you must try not to harm Frost excessively! She is confused! She doesn’t know what she is doing!”

Sonya: “Are you joking? This girl’s trying to kill you, Sub-Zero! She won’t hesitate in doing so the first chance she gets! Are you really willing to give that to her?”

Sub-Zero: “Sonya! Look out!”

We see Sonya being hurled forward and falling next to Sub-Zero, Frost standing just behind her previous position.

Frost: “You would do well to stay right there! That way you can both die with as little suffering as possible!”

Sonya (jumping back onto her feet and assuming her stance): “The only one who’s suffering here is you!”

Without warning, Frost chucks one of her Ice Dagger at Sonya, who gasps and barely avoids it, having to hurl a projectile at it in order to stop its approach. When the burst from the projectile clears, we see Frost leaping towards her to resume battle. Sonya dodges the countless swings of her remaining Ice Dagger (one of them manages to open a large gash on her top), then strikes Frost with a combination of attacks: with forceful hits of her right leg, she kicks Frost in the lower part of her left leg, then quickly follows up by landing another one to her abdomen, to her neck, and finally, to the side of her face. Frost is thrown backwards towards Sub-Zero, who catches her and stops her fall.

Sub-Zero: “Frost, you cannot go on with this battle! I can help you if you would just—“

Frost: “Get your hands off of me!”

Frost yells furiously and stabs Sub-Zero in his right arm with her Ice Dagger, then pushes him off with all her might, knocking him into the ground. As though completely forgetting about her primary objective of killing Sub-Zero, she once again turns to Sonya, glaring at her intently. Sonya returns the cold stare, which ignites Frost once more and causes the female ninja to charge at her rival in a final attempt to defeat her.

Frost attacks with two uppercuts, landing the first one and having the second one blocked. Sonya jumps up and kicks Frost in the face with her right leg, lands, and quickly hops to the side in order to evade Frost’s Ice Slide, not wasting the chance to strike her in the back of the head with a spinning kick as Frost slides past her. The ninja spins around with three fast kicks that are dodged by Sonya, but after the third one, Frost manages to land another punch and grab a hold of Sonya’s hair, pulling at it vigorously. Sonya cries out for a second, then blows the air, sending a purple mist straight into Frost’s eyes, who shouts and puts her hands to her face immediately. Furious at her last attack, Sonya sums up all of her energy into one straight punch, hurling Frost downwards as drops of blood are seen in the air. She then prepares a kick to her fallen opponent, only to be taken by surprise by a leg sweep. Sonya falls hard on her back, and Frost quickly follows up by landing a kick to her face with the left leg, only to be struck by Sonya’s right one in return. The two fighters quickly stand up, and Sonya continues on the offensive as she soars towards Frost with her Flying Kick. Frost ducks the attack and tackles Sonya from behind, the blow causing the lieutenant to stagger forward and almost lose her balance.

Frost: “You’re done now!”

Sonya: “Go to hell!”

Sonya gets back into action with the same spinning kick we had seen her deliver before on the Black Dragon Kira. Frost spins continuously through the air and finally lands on a large, serrated rock near the mound, one of its sharp areas cutting across her abdomen. She holds her injured area and gets back to her feet, although yelping in pain. Sonya comes to her without wasting time with another combination of attacks. Frost blocks them all, but falls victim to a final uppercut by Sonya, dazing her on contact. Taking advantage if her biggest chance yet, Sonya runs towards Frost and catches her with a Leg Grab. She then raises her torso so that she can perform an impressive backflip which throws Frost headfirst and with incredible might into the serrated stone a second time. Fueled by a strange antagonism and even animosity, Sonya still follows up on the attack by hurling her Armed Forces projectile into her rival once more. The projectile reaches Frost and explodes on contact; when it clears, we see the ice ninja’s unconscious body, and the large stone reduced to countless pieces scattered through the area. The screen shifts to show us Sonya (the toll from this battle apparent on her face), out of breath, before it zooms out to reveal Sub-Zero standing just behind her, looking fixedly at the fallen Frost.

Sub-Zero: “She’s definitely debilitated for now...” (He walks to Sonya and places his right arm on her left shoulder). “I thank you for your assistance, Sonya... and offer you to follow me to the Lin Kuei, where you will be able to fully recover from your battles.”

Sonya: “I can’t be sure that Jax and Cyrax are alright just yet... they may still need me.”

Sub-Zero (looking over to Smoke, who lays motionless on the ground a distance from there): “Then I will go with you and aid you in any way you may still need. Once you and your allies are fully safe, I will come back for Frost.... As for Smoke, however...” (Sonya turns to look at Smoke as well). “He has been heavily damaged. I fear that the Lin Kuei does not have the means to restore him.”

Sonya (grinning as she faces Sub-Zero): “I can help you out there...”

The screen shifts to a bird’s eye view focusing on Sonya and Sub-Zero below. We can see Frost and Smoke’s unconscious bodies, as well as dozens more all around the visible battlefield. The screen now slowly fades to black...

PICTURE: On the picture, we see Frost, still out cold, lying down in a room that appears to belong to the Lin Kuei. Beside her stands Sub-Zero, with Sareena right in front of him. We notice a very strange expression on Sareena’s face as she looks down at Frost; one filled with curiosity and inquisitiveness...

Sub-Zero showed a true sense of compassion, and took Frost back to the Lin Kuei, where he was assured that she would be able to fully recuperate. It was true that he was still unsure as to how his former student would react once she awoke: perhaps she would come to fully understand past events, and would eventually thank Sub-Zero for what he’s done. Perhaps she would continue eluded, with an insatiable thirst to pay back all whom she believed were her enemies. Either way, she showed no signs of regaining full consciousness for a good while... Ominously enough, and maybe even more than Sub-Zero himself, Sareena showed special interest in having Frost awake once more...

Remember to post your thoughts and just overall reply, guys, since you already know that the best part of writing these endings is the reponse! I'll check back later to see the reactions and feedback!

Thanks for reading!

I loved this ending smile! Frost is one of my favorite characters so it was nice to see her so well represented. The fight scences were nice and lengthy and I like how you created an ambiguous ending for her; that and the fact that she isn't dead!

Very curious about Sareena and how you would have them interact in the future.

Also, I dunno if you noticed but, I believe you said Mavado was Black Dragon and not Red. Not trying to nit-pick but, I figured you might wanna know. Keep up the great work!

smile May be, but Frost had some ass-kicking time of her own in that ending! Despite the outcome, she's still a tough girl! wink -- As for Reiko, he's one of the characters whose ending will be revealed on the final climatic one that I'm saving for last. Guess Reiko fans will have to wait a little bit? sad (srry)

Thanks for that! Yes, it definately does hint at SOME type of interaction in next-gen between Sareena and Frost. I'll have to leave details of that to your imagination, cuz after all, these are MK:A endings, not MK8 Bios wink lmao.

I'm glad you thought Frost was well-represented, I was trying hard to portray her image of a very tough fighter. Also, because of her obsession with being the best, I always thought she would have a short fuse, as you can see by many parts of the ending, such as when she decides to completely ignore Sub-Zero in order to focus on killing Sonya. I also found her and Sonya's rivalry on MK:DA one of the most intriguing and with most potential, so I just had to explore that on MK:A, and also leave it open to be further developed upon next-gen. smile

Keep posting guys! Love reading them all!

MAAAN!! Trust me, aftwer working in a restaurant 5 hours a day, the best part of my day is heading home, cooking supper and reading your SUPERB endings as I eat. It was A-FUCKING-MAZING!!!

Just my opinion on some of them, I know I'm a bit late, sorry about that:

* I think Kintaro would have crushed Rain.

* I'd love if Scorpion killed friggin Quan Chi (I was sure it'd happen, and it seemed odd that Scorpion stopped when the Elder Goddess asked him to). IMO he would have pursued Quan Chi until either one was dead, but perhaps the Elder Gods do have some kind of power over him. Though I think Scorp would have kept going, disregarding the God's pleas.

* It'd had been neat if Sheeva died with Motaro.

* I REALLY think Sektor would have obliterated Sareena and given Cyrax a far harder battle. It'd have been really cool if Cyrax, injured, had realized he could never beat Sektor and had done his last noble feat: self-destruct along Sektor, sacrificing himself to save others. Cyrax would've tackled Sektor and both would fall down the pyramid only to perish in an explosion in mid-air. Their oils heading down below only to add more chaos to the many battles taking place.

Just my opinion, sorry it's lengthy for a reply, but in conclusion: LOVE THE ENDINGS! Like Aphrodite said, I don't care who's next 'cause I know it's gonna be good! Oh, also, I think Sub-Zero would have stopped Frost after the third attack against him, maybe freeze her or stop her harmlessly, but I don't think he'd have taken so many hits.

P.S. Perhaps Kira, Kabal or Kobra are next??

P.S.2. You really like the idea of a Sonya-Subby team-up, huh? ;)

Nice ending. I liked that you had Frost survive! She should definitely come back. I kinda wished that Frost came out on top too.

Oh and what's this Sareena is interested in Frost somehow? Could be the next Deadly Alliance, either that or Sareena just wants a girlfriend...grin

Anyways good job man!
