LeoBrZ81, I applaud you even more for taking my poor criticism so well. To tell you the truth, I could only skim your story from being exhausted from my hunting trip and I knew once i was typing my input about it, that i would have missed a lot of key points in your story that would make me look like a fool. And to also let you know, that I have made my own stories of mortal kombat (not recently either) and its good to see a fellow writer here. I know I should IM you about this sorta thing but im too lazy. And after reading my own comment above, I feel even more stupid, I guess I really was out of it. So I feel I must explain myself to let you understand some things about my previous idiotic statement.

Just ignore the whole who should be stronger and who should be weaker comment, I didn't even consider the fact that this is just for fun and I didn't respect your view on things. That is probably why im shocked you took my input so well. So I deeply apologize about that.

And i think i'll hit two birds with one stone here about the chameleon questions and the jade/kitana bully thing. ignore that as well, that was the main part I skimmed through and the only thing i got out of it was the fact that Reptile was a punching bag. So I also apologize for assuming rather than getting the facts straight.

The whole Reptile evolving thing, yeah that needs to be explained too. See in my stories, I thought I would give a small twist to him and having him pretty much transform from SM costume to DA costume, because I love both costumes but I thought I would spice things up a little in my story. For example one of my favorite Marvel characters is the Hulk, and the fact that he was invincible as long as he was pissed off is one factor i like about him. And he also deeply intimidates his opponents with his aggression and his size, so i thought i would do that to REptile. When I mentioned him in the "ugly" category, I didn't give the full info. To finish off on this, I guess what I'm saying is that, please do not compare this to the MKA movie. I cannot stand that movie at all and this has nothing to do with this. all im saying is that Reptile had a hidden and dark Saurian power within him and he didn't know it until his primal instincts took over from being out of control. Whew, there, I said it.

And the whole thing about the replacement REptile, yeah that was left undetailed as well. This pretty much had nothing to do with your story except for the fact about your very end with Khameleon and Reptile entering the portal. Since that left room for future generation, I was poitning out that if this really happened in Reptile's ending, I hope that in the future games that he is not replaced by a different Saurian. That would tick me off. See where I'm getting that? Well, I hope this sums up everything and I will end this by giving you a 10/10 on your ending. Great Job and some dp's better be given to yah soon because you sure as heck deserve them.

I just spent hours on my comp reading every comment and ending. Holy Crap!!!! I would tell you which was my favorite, but they were all great. Even though I'm a Scorp fan, I really like Cyrax/Sektor. This is some of the best work I've EVER READ!!! I've been on this site since late April, and nothing has ever even come close to being this great. I mean, if we had to elect a best writer on the board, you'd take the cake/cupcake/and oil/acid punch. 1000000000000/5grin

That's a great thing to hear, that you enjoyed all the endings this much and even took the time to read over all the ones you missed in the past! I'm flattered by the great compliments =D!

As much I appreciate them, it's up to the readers to decide wether or not they wanna give it out. tongue

ReptilePredatorMK, I understand where your point of view on Reptile well, and how they influenced your reaction when you skimmed the ending. wink Will be waiting for more of your inputs on future endings.

Speaking of future endings...

Although subject to change, the next ending is very likely to be Shao Khan's. His ending is, as most already know, the lengthiest one yet, and the one involving most characters: So far, there are 9 CHARACTERS SUBJECT TO HAVE THEIR FINALITY on Shao Khan's ending. There are huge, epic battles that will be happening, as well as many of the 9 characters involved getting killed off! I'll reveal whom these 9 characters are once I start writing PART 1 of the ending.

It will, like Reptile's, be divived into parts, although I think it'll amount to more than just 2 parts.

More info on that soon...

Please feel free to continue commenting on Reptile's ending, and any past ending, as well as give your thoughts on the upcoming Shao Khan ending. Like I always say, I read every single reply carefully! wink

That was just so kickass.

I liked the part where you made saurians and vampires into rival clans.

I would really like to see that happen in future MK games.

Another great ending, although some people don't understand the fury that drove out of reptile,so let me clear this up,It was an adrenalin rush, everybody gets them, hell I even had a couple,I wish I could tell you about them, but back on topic, just think of it as a incredible hulk without the transformation.Secondly,I think that person ment him turning into a bulky reptile only temporarlely, then never again.Oh and the three headed creature is a hydra, I know where the hell dide they get a hydra from shao khan? please don't ask.But what really bugged me was that chemeleon died too quick.I could imagine him in the next generation mk,seeing as that he has no story which gives him a freash start.Ermac and kenshi have got to be next.

Alright guys,

The next characters who are scheduled to be involved in the next ending and have their conclusion will be:

- Shao Khan
- Onaga
- Reiko
- Sindel
- Shujinko
- (Scorpion)
- Nightwolf
- Ermac
- Li Mei

!!!! PLEASE READ !!!!- Quite a few of these characters (in fact, most of them) will be killed off! So, if your favorite is on the list above, be prepared for what may be store for him/her! This is the ending where the largest amount of characters will be killed off (naturally).

Heads up!

I've started work on PART 1, it is currenly scheduled to be put up by tomorrow night (subjec to change).

Feel free to comment on this new "info" and speculate on which of these characters will be killed off, or you would like to get killed off, or vice-versa, etc...

Alright, here's PART 1 of Shao Khan's big ending! Some great action and development to the more intense parts that will follow, although only including ONE of the NINE characters that will have their finality. Hope you guys like it!

SHAO KHAN (ONAGA, REIKO, SINDEL, SHUJINKO, SCORPION, NIGHTWOLF, ERMAC, LI MEI)

~ PART 1 ~

The scene starts with the screen following Sindel’s boots as they stomp the earth continuously at a fast pace, drawing forth dust and pebbles. It then begins to zoom out slowly, and we see the Queen running rapidly across the battlefield towards an unknown destination. As the screen continues to pursue her, we catch many glimpses at the battles going on all around her, many which are familiar ones that we have watched develop before. Sindel then takes out her Kwan Dao, although not slowing down. The screen now shifts position and places itself behind her; we see that Baraka is standing in Sindel’s way, watching as Bo’ Rai Cho runs past him. The Tarkatan mutant then releases his blades while still glaring at Bo’ Rai Cho, and prepares to chase after him. Before he can even take a step towards his target, however, Sindel smashes her Kwan Dao into Baraka’s back, knocking him off-scene as the mutant growls at the unexpected attack and a small amount of blood flies from his back due to the impact. Sindel does not give him a second look, and continues to run at a fast pace.

The screen now shifts position once more; this time, it leaves its place behind Sindel and rushes forward in a straight line a great distance, until it slows down and finally stops once Shao Khan is in view. The emperor is walking menacingly forward, his Wrath Hammer tightly packed into his fist as he looks from side to side at the countless warriors within his sight. He takes many steps onward and stops once the Shaolin Monk Kung Lao is standing few feet ahead of him, locked in battle with the sorcerer Quan Chi. Shao Khan stands still and remains unnoticed, watching curiously the fight between the two warriors.

We see Kung Lao continuously defend himself from Quan Chi’s double broadswords with his own sword, until the sorcerer successfully cuts the lower part of his right leg. Kung Lao doubles over instantly and reaches for the cut on his leg, giving Quan Chi the chance to strike the monk’s sword forcefully with his own two weapons, sending it flying into the air and from our view. Kung Lao takes a last look at his sword as it disappears into the distance, but has no more time to dwell in his lost weapon as Quan Chi’s broadswords are swung at him forcefully. The Shaolin Monk skillfully leaps into the air, avoiding the two blades, and lands a kick to Quan Chi’s face, causing him to stagger backwards and almost lose his balance. Kung Lao does not miss this chance for an attack; he takes off his hat and, with one swift motion, cuts Quan Chi’s torso right before teleporting behind the sorcerer and hurling him off-scene with a heated throw. Kung Lao stands triumphantly, looking down at his fallen opponent, when at a startling pace, Shao Khan’s Wrath Hammer suddenly smashes into his stomach and sends him flying into the air, falling a great distance away. We can hear a faint chuckle coming from beneath the emperor’s Skull Mask as he watches Kung Lao’s body disappear from view. The camera now positions itself close to the left side of Khan’s face, giving us an overview behind his left shoulder: we notice Quan Chi as he gets up slowly, glaring at Khan from behind and making as little noise as possible while preparing to sink his Broadswords into the emperor. Khan’s blazing pupils slowly move to the corner of his eyes, and we realize he knows very well that Quan Chi is attempting a sneak attack. As soon as the sorcerer raises his swords high in the air (letting out a furious war cry as he does so), Shao Khan spins around and fills his Hammer with momentum, colliding it with Quan Chi’s face. Blood flies into the air and Quan Chi is shot sideways like a bullet, cutting the air until he is out of sight. Khan laughs even harder at this (clearly pleased with the scene he had just witnessed), and looks around him, realizing there is no one left within his range. That is when we catch a glimpse of Sindel, still running feverishly right behind Khan. She reaches him and drives her Kwan Do towards his back. The emperor hears her just in time; he quickly spins around, sidesteps the weapon that would have mortally wounded him, and grabs a hold of it with his right hand, driving the blade into the ground and gaping threateningly at its owner.

Shao Khan: “Is this any way to greet me after such a long time away?”

Sindel refuses to reply; instead, she flips her body over the Kwan Do while still holding onto its handle and lands few feet away from Khan, successfully pulling it from his grasp.

Sindel: “The moment I spotted you, I knew I could not allow myself to miss the one perfect chance to finish you off, Khan!”

Shao Khan: “Sindel, do not be a fool... you are the person whom I would least want to kill in this place. Take advantage of such a fact, and flee from my sight.”

Sindel glares at Khan for a few seconds, then assumes her fighting stance.

Shao Khan: “Allow me to rephrase that: you are indeed the least person I would want to kill... but I would not hesitate in doing so if you insisted on being a frustration. We both know you would never emerge victorious in kombat against me.”

Sindel: “You may be right, Khan. But I presently have no other goal in mind other than your demise... and I will fight to accomplish that goal until one of us is dead!”

Shao Khan (sighing): “You are like a pesky insect who will not leave me be...” (We get a close-up shot of his fists as they grip his Wrath Hammer tightly). “...and there’s only one way to get rid of one...” (He suddenly charges at Sindel). “...SWAT it!”

Shao Khan smashes his Hammer down towards Sindel, who leaps over the massive weapon as though she was expecting it. She lands beside Shao Khan and swings her Kwan Do at him; the emperor, however, quickly fends off the staff’s blade with another swift swing of his Wrath Hammer, quickly following it up by driving it towards Sindel’s legs, intending to knock her off her feet. The queen came prepared for battle, and jumps into the air as the Hammer sweeps the earth below her; she then lands a speedy punt kick to his midsection with her right leg, simultaneously raising her left one and bringing it down on Khan’s arms so that his Hammer is forced down onto the ground. Because of this clever attack by Sindel, Khan is unable to attack her with his weapon for that one moment: a moment which the queen uses to wrap both of her legs around the exposed handle of the Hammer and perform a backflip that sends the weighty weapon sliding across the floor and from its owner’s grasp. Khan is surprised that he allowed himself to be stripped of his weapon so early in the fight, but the shock does not effect his speed; when Sindel attempts to impale him with the Kwan Do, he once again grabs the staff (this time with his left hand), spins forward so that he is near Sindel, and lands a powerful elbow to her face that knocks her sideways and forces her to release the Kwan Do, which is now in Khan’s clutches. Rather than attacking Sindel with it and giving her an opportunity to regain her weapon, Shao Khan waits until Sindel recovers so that he can break the Kwan Do in half before her eyes. Beneath the Skull Mask, we see an arrogant grin take over Khan’s face.

In the blink of an eye, an enraged Sindel releases her Star Screamer projectile, which Khan has no time to avoid. It clashes with his body and flings him backwards, causing the emperor to fall hard on his back a considerable distance from his adversary. Sindel now levitates into the air and weighs Khan down with her luminous blank eyes just before looking directly beneath her feet, opening her mouth wide and letting out a strident scream from the top of her lungs. We see translucent sonic waves fly from her mouth and strike the floor below, breaking it apart and opening a deep crevice on its surface. Sindel now slowly moves her focus closer and closer to Khan, still screaming loudly; consequently, the crevice continuously grows in Khan’s direction and finally reaches him just as he stands up and attempts to flee from it. The emperor falls within the crevice instantly, and quickly grabs a hold of the edge as to stop himself from plummeting down into the unseen bottom. Sindel now stops screaming and flies into the crevice herself (stopping right beside Khan) and swings her open palm towards him. Khan quickly spins his body and moves further down the crevice in order to avoid Sindel’s large fingernails as they sink into the wall of the crevice where he previously was. The Edenian warrior insists on striking Khan, however, and swings her open hand at him yet again. This time, Khan defends himself with his left hand, then hurls his Explosive Blast projectile at Sindel. The shot reaches its target in a fraction of a second (Sindel was positioned inches away from Khan) and has her spinning backwards before falling face-first onto the ground away from the crevice. The emperor now wastes no time in lifting himself up and out of the gaping opening on the floor, then distancing himself from it before re-assuming his stance. Sindel now gets back to her feet, and showing no signs of backing down, hovers above the floor and drifts slowly above the crevice and nearer to Khan, who stands his ground.

Shao Khan: “I must admit I have underestimated you, Sindel. Never would I have thought you could be so clever and furtive in battle.”

Sindel: “Perhaps you have not underestimated me at all, and instead, have come to realize that my victory over you is a very real possibility.”

Shao Khan (sniggering to himself): “Now it is you who are making the mistake, my ‘queen’. Giving yourself false hope is the first step to assuring your own defeat. Don’t worry... I am clear on what type of fighter I am now dealing with. I will not be making mistakes with you any longer.”

We get a close-up shot of Sindel’s ethereal eyes before she suddenly vanishes, a faint scream echoing throughout the battlefield; Shao Khan looks around anxiously for signs of her, and has time to utter nothing more than a mere gasp as Sindel rematerializes behind him and delivers a powerful blow to his back with both fists, throwing Khan forward into the air. The emperor growls angrily and lands on his feet, quickly spinning around only to see Sindel flying towards him hurriedly once again with a flying kick that nails him in the chest. Shao Khan staggers backwards, and Sindel shows no signs of slowing down her attacks as she sends a spinning kick towards his neck. Khan is growing incessantly furious. He blocks her kick, two other punches thrown by Sindel, and finally catches her with a tough jab to the face, only to have her duck his second one and rise back up with a well-aimed uppercut to his jaw. Shao Khan snarls as he is thrown off balance for a few seconds by the uppercut, and even with his mask covering up his face, we can well imagine the fuming expression that is clearly covering it. Sindel is clearly far from intimidated by his anger, however, and sends another spinning kick to Khan’s face. The emperor ducks the kick, the air pressure rushing against the top of his helmet, and quickly grabs a hold of Sindel’s right arm with his left hand as she sends a quick punch his way. The Edenian queen insists on staying on the offensive, and throws a second punch with her left arm: a desperate move that causes Khan to instantly have her left wrist in his grasp as well. Sindel is about to knee Khan in the midsection in order to free herself from his grasp, but he has planned his next move well: a green radiance similar to his Explosive Blast projectile’s is quickly released from his hands and immediately covers Sindel’s forearms. She suddenly feels her forearms burning as though caught in blazing flames, but barely has time to shout in pain as Khan, soon after, drives both his fists into the side of her face, knocking Sindel off her feet and causing her to fall on her back. Refusing to provide her with a chance for recovery, Shao Khan once again releases his Explosive Blast projectile at his fallen rival. To his disappointment, Sindel shows surprising swiftness as she quickly flips her body forward (her right hand on the ground) and flings herself above the projectile moments before it crashes into the terrain below her. She comes back down towards the ground with a descending right kick aimed at Shao Khan, who fends it off with his left arm and just as effectively lands another blow to Sindel’s left cheek, then grabs her by the hand and flips her over his own head with startling strength, finally smashing her into the opposite area of the ground. Just as Khan expected, Sindel once again refuses to accept defeat and leaps towards him once again, preparing to deliver a flying punch; that is when Khan performs his Uplifting Knee attack, striking Sindel as she speeds towards him. The queen is thrown upwards, and a second later falls helplessly onto the rough soil. Assured that he has subdued her at least for the time being, Khan takes three gradual steps in Sindel’s direction, shaking his head slowly as he does so. He looks down at her for no more than an instant before he prepares to send another Explosive Blast projectile her way; this time, however, he seems to be taking the time to increase its potency, as the green radiance grows in size inches from his Skull Helmet.

It is then that Khan suddenly feels an intense sting strike him from behind. He yelps and staggers forward, bringing his right hand to a mid-sized cut across his lower back. He slowly looks down at his hand, two streaks of blood running down his palm, before he turns to face Princess Kitana, steel fans at the ready as she glares at Khan profoundly.
Kitana: “Get away from her!”

Khan notices a large gash on Kitana’s torso, as well as her bruised face and body. He instantly comes to realize she has already been in a fight, and is therefore in a weaker state than normal.

Shao Khan: “You are in no position to demand anything from me, Kitana.

Kitana: “I am challenging you to kombat, Khan! Are you spineless enough to back down?”

Shao Khan: “Insolent girl... your mockery is meaningless when I am certain I could crush you with my bare hands at anytime!”

Kitana: “Then let my mother be, and defend yourself!”

Kitana does not allow Shao Khan the time to reply as she kicks off the ground and leaps at him, immediately swinging her Steel Fans at her target once she is close. Without a weapon to counter hers, Khan finds difficulty in successfully evading each one of her attacks without suffering damage. Knowing he is unable to dodge them for much longer without feeling the sting of the fan’s blades once again, he sees an opening for an attack and swings his right fist at Kitana. The princess ducks her opponent’s powerful jab as it almost brushes her hair, and manages to slightly cut his right abdomen before rising back up. Khan growls more in rage than in the diminutive pain, and spins around, putting all of his strength into one devastating kick that nails Kitana fully. The already-weakened warrior feels the last slivers of energy being drained from her, but seems determined to not give up so quickly: almost as soon as her body collides with the floor, she jumps right back up and charges at Khan to resume the battle.

Kitana now extends her arms fully and performs numerous acrobatic spins, all whilst swinging her razor-sharp Steel Fans at Khan, who continues to have a hard time evading her swift weapons. In a fraught attempt to slow her down, Khan then performs his Charging Spikes move. The attack catches Kitana by surprise, at a moment when she had her back to him during a rotation; the emperor rams her with the spikes on his shoulder, which sink into Kitana’s back and, although not damaging her gravely, restrains her from her continuous weapon attacks. Khan makes his right hand into a fist and prepares to deal another mighty punch to his adversary, but Kitana hastily lowers her torso, revolves completely, and spins her Steel Fans in place. The sonic waves from her Fan Lift come into contact with Khan’s body, which constricts itself and begins to levitate into the air. Once he is high enough, Kitana flies at him with the Square Wave Punch. Her right fist collides with his Skull Helmet (causing a noticeable crack around its lower area), and not a moment after this, she delivers a destructive combination of punches, kicks, and cuts from her Steel Fans to the emperor midair, finally finishing it up by thrusting her body forward, positioning herself behind Khan, and striking him in the back with a spinning kick. Shao Khan falls face-fist onto the ground, and Kitana lands soon after right behind him, although her knees bend from exhaustion when she touches the ground and she almost loses her balance (we also see a very thin streak of blood coursing down her sapphire boots from a just visible cut on her right thigh). Kitana does not stop to dwell in her own fatigue when she sees Khan start to get back onto his feet. Instead, she hurls one of her Steel Fans at him, which are about to impale its target when Khan executes a swift back-flip, allowing the fan to fly in a straight line below him. Kitana takes a step back when Khan’s blazing eyes fall upon her, and the menacing emperor approaches her. The princess frowns determinately and rushes at him once more, instantaneously attacking him using all of her remaining strength with her last Steel Fan. Khan sidesteps the weapon and goes in for an attack, but is met with a backhanded punch to the face and a mighty kick to his right abdomen. Although damaging, it is distinct to Khan that these last two attacks by Kitana were weaker than her starting ones. Assured that he will undoubtedly gain the upper hand in this battle, he retaliates the attacks by taking two swings at Kitana, this time purposely exposing the spikes at the end of his gloves. The princess successfully avoids the first one, but is unable to stop Khan’s second attack from reaching her; the spikes scratch across her right cheek and leave behind four cuts, blood instantly flowing from them. Kitana feels dazed... Shao Khan now grabs her right wrist forcefully, looks to his left, and flings Kitana with all of his might into the large boulder within his sight. The screen follows the undermined princess as her body dashes through the air and finally crashes into the boulder, splitting it into minuscule fragments on impact. Kitana’s unconscious body falls on the floor, now far from Khan, who hears a silenced thud just behind him. He spins around, catching a cunning Sindel by surprise, and wraps his right hand around her neck tightly, raising her into the air.

Shao Khan (tightening his grip slowly): “I will be sure to bury your remains close to your daughter, Sindel!”

Huge thanks for all the comments so far, guys! tongue

Part 2 of the ending might take a little longer to be posted than expected, as there's a bit of construction being done over here in the room next to where the computer is. Naturally, I'd never be able to write up a well-done continuation with this much noise, people coming in and out, not to mention the 80's music that sometimes gets turned on down here... -_-' but anyway...

I'll continue working on it later tonight, when there's some silence. Don't know if I'll have it all done by the end of the day, but it's a possibility. Still, I won't forget about it wink

Thanks again for the patience glasses

SHAO KHAN (ONAGA, REIKO, SINDEL, SHUJINKO, SCORPION, NIGHTWOLF, ERMAC, LI MEI)

~ PART 2 ~

Sindel gasps for air and struggles to break free from Khan's grasp, but has no results. We get a close-up shot of her right fist as she stretches her fingers out and moves her hand in a circular motion. The screen now cuts to Khan’s Wrath Hammer, lying on the ground far from there, where his and Sindel’s battle first began. We notice the weapon being lifted into the air by lucent sonic waves, just before it suddenly shoots like a rocket in Shao Khan’s direction. In a fraction of a second, the Hammer positions itself behind Shao Khan, and with a second wave of Sindel’s hand, comes crashing down towards his head. The emperor quickly extends his left arm towards the incoming weapon and stops its descent by forcefully wrapping his fingers around its handle. He then turns to face Sindel once again, who begins to feel her last few breaths drawing nearer and nearer.

Shao Khan: “How notable that you refuse to accept defeat even when all hopes of you leaving this place with your life have vanished before your eyes!”

The screen now slowly zooms in and focuses on Khan's face, his eyes gleaming red through his Skull Helmet. Unexpectedly, we see a small pool of water rise from the sandy ground behind Shao Khan and take a human shape. Rain has materialized. Wasting no time, he opens up his right hand and touches Shao Khan's back. Instantly, we hear a loud thunder-like sound, and Shao Khan is shocked as though by lightning, shouting in pain. Dazed from Rain's assault, he drops Sindel to the ground and falls to his knees. The queen rubs her neck and gasps for air. Rain delivers a powerful kick to Shao Khan's side before he can get back to his feet, and sends the emperor sliding across the ground.

Rain: "Queen Sindel, you must escape from here immediately! You are in no condition to continue this battle, and two of Khan's allies are fast approaching to aid their master!"

Sindel (her voice sounding raspy): "No! I refuse to willingly allow Shao Khan this victory! It is time to put an end to his reign once and for all!"

Rain: "But my queen, you--"

Rain's statement is cut short as he suffers a deathly tackle from Shao Khan, who has regained his strength. The ninja refuses to be brought down so easily, however, and with an impressive motion, regains his balance. Rain raises his hands high in the air and brings a fast-paced lightning bolt down towards Shao Khan. As a counterattack, Khan raises his Hammer high above his head, and allows it to be hit by the lightning bolt. Bolts of electricity start circling Khan's weapon, and he forcefully smashes it into the ground, creating a crevice amid the sandy soil that seems to spew bolts of electricity upwards. The crevice runs at an amazing speed across the ground and reaches Rain, who is knocked backwards by the electric projectiles emitting from it. Sindel starts to get back up slowly.

Shao Khan: "Curious that you would turn your back on your master after aiding him in past ordeals..."

Rain (forcing himself to regain his strength): "I was a fool to betray my home realm! But had I known that you caused my father's death, I would have preferred death over following your orders!"

As though having lost interest in Sindel, Khan starts making his way towards Rain.

Shao Khan: "It is true that your father was a feeble Edenian general... but one I thing I cannot deny is that he was a brave individual." (He continues walking towards Rain, cradling his Wrath Hammer. Rain now begins to back away). "He willingly accepted death by my hands when offered the choice of joining me. Too bad his son lacks such courage. You are a traitor to your own realm, you imbecile! Nothing will ever change that."

Rain: "ENOUGH!" (He assumes his fighting stance.) "Leave the queen be! You will battle ME now!"

Khan has a hearty laugh at this.

Shao Khan: "I think you have... BIGGER things to worry about."

A pair of colossal, fringed hands suddenly wrap themselves around Rain's stomach and tightens its grip. Rain yelps in pain as Kintaro raises him high above his head, then flings him into a nearby boulder.

Shao Khan (to Kintaro): "Have fun with that excuse for a warrior!”

We get a quick close-up shot of Kintaro as his monstrous mouth is contorted into an ominous grin, right before the Shokan turns around to face Rain, whose body has been thrown off-camera. Kintaro begins to make his way towards Rain, but rather than following him, the screen gradually returns its focus to Shao Khan, who starts to turn around only to have his face struck by Sindel’s right fist as she boasts all of her remaining strength. Khan is quick to recover from her surprise attack, and dives back into an offensive state by swinging his newly-repossessed Wrath Hammer at the queen. Sindel hops backwards to avoid the bulky weapon, and when Khan attempts to strike her a second time, she performs a speedy roll while the Hammer cuts the air above her head, finally rising back up just behind her opponent and swinging her left leg backwards, striking Shao Khan in the back. The emperor now shouts as he tightens his grasp on his weapon and spins around in the blink of an eye, immediately bringing the Wrath Hammer down on his persistent rival. Sindel jumps upwards, lands on top of the Hammer (forcing it down onto the ground), kicks off, and attempts to strike her attacker with a spinning kick to the head. Shao Khan smacks her leg with his left forearm, blocking the attack, then tries to catch her with a kick from his left leg, which Sindel evades by flipping her body forward into the air. But having foreseen this action, Shao Khan growls loudly as he summons all of his strength into one swing of his Wrath Hammer, smashing Sindel on the back and popping her high into the air. He now watches sadistically as she falls helplessly a good distance from him.

Almost as soon as her body comes into contact with the ground, however, a razor-edged boomerang followed by a green essence suddenly charges at Khan, who gasps and strikes it with his Wrath Hammer when it gets dangerously close to him. The emperor watches the boomerang travel to the ground, still taken aback at its sudden appearance, and is unprepared for a dropkick by the elusive Jade, which nails him on the face and knocks Khan back a mild distance. Now getting over the surprise of this unexpected attack, he prepares his defenses as Jade rushes to meet him, flexibly twirling her Bo Staff in her right hand as she does so. The Edenian ninja tries twice to strike her fallen target with the staff, but Khan skillfully knocks it away both times with dexterous sways of his weightier weapon. He then kicks off the ground and rises back to his feet, catching Jade on the stomach with the upper surface of the Wrath Hammer and causing the female warrior to stagger backwards. This hit is not enough to daze her for long: when Khan attacks her with the Wrath Hammer, she flings her body sideways to avoid being struck, and just as quickly smashes the Bo Staff into Khan’s back. This causes the emperor to spin around angrily, only to have his sight filled with the image of the staff’s bottom tip being driven in his direction. He hops back and evades being hit by it, having been unsuccessful in determining Jade’s true intentions: she sinks her Bo Staff into the earth and uses it to propel herself forward at great speed, clouting the side of Khan’s face with a destructive kick from her right leg. As Jade expected, Shao Khan insists on attacking her with the Wrath Hammer; she leaps over his first swing, then performs a split during the second one as the Hammer clashes with the air above her head. Giving Khan no time to bounce back into action a third time, she kicks off the ground and, with a back-flip, smacks him on his jaw with both her feet, following it up with a Blazing Nitro Kick attack that deprives Khan of his balance as he slides across the floor on his back.

Jade is about to take off after the emperor and continue the attack... but is interrupted as a heavy object smashes her in the back and knocks her forward. The screen gives us this shot head-on, and when she falls, we see Reiko standing behind her, wielding his Crude Hammer. Shao Khan gets back to his feet.

Shao Khan: “Excellent work, Reiko. Your assistance will be remembered when I am rebuilding my future army, even though it was not entirely necessary.”

Reiko (giving Khan a strange, solemn look as he speaks): “Forgive me, my emperor. I simply thought that, collectively, we would be able to dispose of your opposition much faster.”

Shao Khan: “And you may be right... but this one seems to already been taken care of.”

Shao Khan walks to Jade and takes her by her left arm, raising her to his eye level. She snarls angrily at him, finally conjuring up all of her strength into one well-aimed punch to the center of Khan’s face, causing the fissure on the bottom edge of his mask to grow in size. He turns his head slowly to take one last look at her before releasing his Explosive Blast projectile, which collides with Jade’s body and hurls her off-screen into the distance.

Shao Khan: “From where does Sindel continue to unearth these worthless warriors?”

Reiko remains silent, then looks to his left and notices Sindel’s unconscious body not far from him.

Reiko: “What of her?”

Shao Khan (looking over at Sindel’s body as well, and looking ponderous.): “Ah, the daring queen of Edenia... still, a foolish being who found her defeat at my hands when she challenged me...” (When Khan says this, we get a brief shot of Reiko as he draws a stiff breath breath). “She has shown to me beyond a doubt that she will continue to oppose me in the future, regardless of how many times my superiority is proven.” (A moment of silent...) “Kill her before she wakes.”

We get a close-up shot of Reiko as he exhales sharply, then turns and gives Shao Khan a long, hard look, his void eyes motionless.

Shao Khan: “You have the audacity of considering my orders? When I give you a command, Reiko, YOU will carry it out immediately, for your sake!”

Reiko continues to gape at Khan, and we get a shot of his right hand as he tightens his grip on the handle of his Crude Hammer.

Shao Khan (chuckling audibly): “You imbecile... you always were the one subordinate whom I was forced to constantly keep my eye on. Unfortunate that my best general had to also be my least reliable one.” (He takes two gradual steps in Reiko’s direction). “Unfortunate for you, of course. Because if you do not follow my orders and slay Sindel NOW... I will have you torn limb from limb before my eyes, and will personally present your remains as an offering to the Outworld Tarkatan Horde, trading one useless supporter for a group of superior allies.”

We see Reiko grit his teeth and turn away from Shao Khan, finally making his way towards Sindel. Khan watches, weighing his general down with his blistering stare, until he is standing over the queen’s immobile body. We get a shot of Reiko’s grave expression as he, oddly enough, looks at his surroundings and notes the empty battlefield around him, just moments before he raises his Crude Hammer high above his head and prepares to deliver the final blow to the beaten Sindel.

When it seems as though the queen’s end is inevitable, Shao Khan is suddenly taken by surprise as Reiko dematerializes on the stop and teleports to the area right in front of him, abruptly spinning around and attacking him with the Crude Hammer. Khan is almost struck by the weapon, but manages to defend himself with the Wrath Hammer, quickly jumping backwards as to not give Reiko the chance for a second attack.

Reiko: “This is it for you, Khan! There is no one else here to stop me from slaying you and, finally, making your status rightfully mine!”

Shao Khan: “You overconfident weakling! I presented you with the chance to gain my favor once more, and you wasted it like the fool you have proven yourself to be! You are pathetic to confront me, Reiko... you would never be able to best me!”

Reiko: “After the hits you have already taken, my victory over you in kombat is short of assured!”

Shao Khan: “You elude yourself, Reiko... I will make sure your end is excruciatingly painful, and the story of your death will set an example for my future army!”

Reiko glares at Khan and, shouting vigorously, charges at him. As he closes in on the emperor, however, a colossal shadow suddenly looms over him... a moment later, the Dragon King Onaga swoops down and grabs a hold of Reiko, taking off with him as he fights to free himself. Shao Khan watches, wide-eyed with astonishment, as Onaga flies high into the air and finally flings Reiko downwards as nothing but a mere shadow in the distance. Khan takes a step back and we get a close-up shot of his shocked eyes when he notices Onaga turn back around and fly at an overwhelming speed straight at him.

Showing a hint of panic for the first time, Shao Khan desperately throws himself sideways when Onaga closes in and attempts to ram him. The Dragon King lands forcefully on his feet onto the ground, sliding forward as his massive legs leave large tracks on the terrain. Khan valiantly rushes at him and attacks him with his Wrath Hammer, but Onaga effortlessly shields himself from the blows with his enormous fists, finally striking Khan with his claws. The emperor spins backwards into the air, leaving three streaks of blood flying through the air before landing headfirst. Onaga roars feverishly before slowly making his way towards his enemy.

Onaga: “Your time as the undeserving emperor of Outworld has been marked for an end since my return, Khan! And you will not live to regain that title!”

~ END OF PART 2 ~

There's part 2, the last build-up to the actual final, epic battle that is going to take place on Part 3. As of now, it seems Part 3 will finally bring together the remaining characters who have been scheduled to appear, but have not yet appeared in the ending.

Reiko fans, don't have a fit, I can safely say that he is not dead wink.

Leave your comments guys, and I will start working on Part 3 (which should also be the final part) ASAP, most likely by tomorrow. My guess is that it will be put up by Saturday.

Thanks for reading and leaving your feedback!

Kudos, as usual. I sincerely hope Onaga is bested by Khan. He's just too cunning to be beaten by Onaga, regardless of how strong the Dragon King actually is. After all, brains beat braun and Shao Kahn has proven time and time again he is one of the more intelligent characters.
