Superman can have Superboy Prime. This does seem unfair to the MK characters though. Unless they have Smoke in with a H. Smoke outfit or something. Noob can have the Original Sub-Zero thing going for him, and Kenshi can have Ermac

I'd also say that obviously they'd change lifebars and such along with the announcer and voices. It would be stupid if so they made Harley Quinn an alternate costume/character for the Joker and had it say "The Joker Wins" or something. That wouldn't be that hard to change I don't think.

You could still have alternate costumes like Tekken 4 did where I got the idea from. LIke Ling Xiaoyu had the street clothes, the pink dress, her school uniform, and Miharu as an alternate character/costume. So I don't think it's all that hard to get a primary, alternate, and the other character since it's all visual changes pretty much.

I wouldn't really say it's unfair to MK characters due to the fact they'd just be extras and the fact there are just so many DC characters out there. Plus it wouldn't really go for every character. You could make an Ermac/Kenshi combo or if you stretch it like MK4 have Jarek be an alternate for Kano. Stuff like that.

Swapping out names on the lifebar, adding a voice, and some unique win animations wouldn't be that hard for the MK Team. They're pretty much masters at doing that already haha.

They could do that with MK characters as well...for example off the top of my head:

Kabal/Mavado

Kitana/Jade/Mileena/Tanya

Goro/Kintaro/Sheeva

Cyrax/Sektor/Smoke

As much as I doubt the possiblities above^, they could work, imo.
