With it having been known for some time that there would be a two-sided story mode for MK vs DC Universe, I was curious as to whether or not there would be some form of cutscenes with Dialogue and if there are, if, for the DC characters, there would be DCAU actors providing the Voices. While nothing's known as of yet about it, I did want to garner some opinions on the matter

No clu but by the end of the week we should know some more so but hopefully there are some cut scenes in between fights or at least when you start as each character

I think they'd desperately NEED to do this. Correct character portrayals are essential for a game like this.

I really do hope that they DO NOT let members of the MkTeam do the DC characters voices. Not unless they sound just like the previous vocalists for them in other media.

As well, different people should do each of the voices for MK characters past portrayals too. Jeff Meeks or Chis Lambert IS Raiden's voice, for instance.

Only if they'd need to should they do the "severe" voice manipulations....and only so that their voices sound like the ones that we are familiar with from whatever character. Boon needs to do Scorpion, for instance.

As for cut scenes, those seem appropriate for this game considering the few things that are pre-determined that we know of right now.

a.) You're gonna have to "pick a side".

b.) You're gonna play with one character to a point, then they will make you switch up the character in order to continue the story. Like; Scorpion, then Sub-Zero, then, Shang Tsung for a while, then Sonya....ect.

You HAVE to do that in order to finish the story mode(s) is how I interpret it.
You can't pick whoever you want, and go through the whole thing....Doesn't seem feasible for memory on the disc the way they explain it, so that's how I take it.

So, at some points, it seems extremely likely that there will be cut scenes. Kinda like MKSM with "better" graphics....

I 100% agree with this post.

I think they got a better picture of our ideas and discontent with MKA’s Konquest, where they improved A LOT their voice acting material from MKD’s Konquest, which was (not all but in general) bad.

But even though MKA’s Konquest provided some awesome voice acting for some characters (“I have FULL Authority”, etc.), it still lacked a lot of depth and credibility for others.

Theres room for improvement, and they certainly must improve the voice acting material for this game.

We need the characters to feel real, original, distinctive, believable...not corny, silly, exaggerated and fake.

I hope they hire real and really good actors (for voice) this time.

I highly agree, if Midway could get any voice actor from Batman: The Animated Series it would surely add much hype for this game.
