Sub-Zero is thought of as a master of ice. But batman, he's the dark knight. Sub-Zero might have a challenge on his hands. Batman is a kind of threat to sub-zero. But I would still choice Sub-zero over batman. Who do u think is going to win in a battle. Give me your thoughts.furious

this has been discussed a million times already.

But Batman beats everyone.

Batman defeated many ninjas before

and defeated Mr. Freeze numerous times

Im sure he could defeat both in one.

Realistically? Sub-Zero would own Batman hands down. its true Batman probably has mastered every martial arts form known to man. But I'm sure his cape isn't going to stop Sub-Zero from freezing him solid and then kicking or punching him into thousands of tiny bits of frozen human chunks. IMO

If that were the case, mr. freeze would have owned Batman, but he didn't.

Well thats because Mr. Freeze is from the DC Universe. Mr.Feeze isn't exactly a master of the martial arts like Sub-Zero, so there is a 50 % chance, that Sub-Zero could just kick Batman's ass in hand to hand and finish him off with a spine rip. ^_^

Batman is also a master of martial arts, Watch the beginning of Batman Begins.

I agree with Warrior Princess. Sub-Zero can easily destroy Batman unless Batman leaves the fight because he saw a light in the sky.

@ PapaRoachFan: yes I know. ^_^ I acknowledged that in my initial post. I honestly feel Batman would have been dead by now. But, because he is the hero, they are of course not going to let their hero die. I mean he's been up against people that would have easily killed him. I don't care how much martial arts you know, chances are you're going to die if you go up against a woman who has absolute control over all plant life and can speed plant growth and create her own monstrous plant creatures, poisons an toxins. But again, Batman is the hero, and Heroes defeat evil. But is it realistic? nope. Now ask me if Superman would kick Sub-Zero's ass and I'd more than likely agree.

If a monk were to go up against a soul stealing, mighty morphing, deadly sorcerer or a 8-foot tall, half dragon, 4-armed, monster and win, would that be realistic?

Of course not. But that's MK. MK isn't set in reality. However Batman Universe, even though it is in a fictional city, still is more grounded in reality than MK. If that makes any sense at all. But I'm sure you understand what I'm saying.

well going by what sub-zero can do in the games. batman would win. we know that sub-zeros' regular freeze doesn't shatter you, it just make you immobile and it takes him a fairly long time to gather the ice/energy to do a deep freeze which is what he does when he shatters people so while he's doing that batman is throwing exploding batarangs and him and such.

I would agree with you there that the DC universe is more realistic then the MK universe.

In the dc universe, when the heroes have special powers, they usually have a reason or back story for why they have it while in mk universe, johnny cage is able to to a shadow kick for no reason.

Yeah, I never understood why the "mortals" in Mortal Kombat had these special powers. However, I always assumed it was them conjuring some sort of inner chi or something. That's the only way I can make sense of it.
