It's obvious from what booN said that they'll be something like brutality.
Well I don't mind brutalities at all.I would really appreciate them + I wanted to see upgraded versions of them since UMK3 days.
So cast your opinion here and tell everybody (MK Team also) what you think about the finishers.

I do like Brutalities too. So I do hope they return.
I loved brutalities and wouldnt mind seeing them again but as a finisher? how would it finish? they cant explode so would they fall over?
I sooo cant wait to see what they do, maybe when you finish someone they get banished to some realm where they dont die but are just stuck, and each character has their own way of sending them there.
I call them Banishers, I can see it now "Banish HIM!" muahaha.... ok maybe not lol

Hmm, sending the defeated opponent to a realm where they are stuck and can do nothing, eh?
Well, it's a good thing they're going against DC because that idea sounds a lot like "the Phantom Zone". I was kinda figuring they'd be using it somewhere in there (likely as Superman's non-fatal finisher), but your version could be interesting.

mkdfan, yo the BRUTALITY would be kool if it have different end.For example you can beat you opponent so hard that he felts in coma or lose consciousness but will be with alot more blood and screams and chokes and burns and suffering and violence and gore and madness and torture and massacre than when you fight normally in the round.

Brutalities, or Kreate a Fatalities without the blood or any of the rips.
We'll probably get more special effects this time too. Wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to compensate that way....
meh..

I'm pretty sure they'll just do like really cool beatdowns.
I think the sub zero freeze and shatter would be allowed, and so would the toasty one.
Actually, a lot of fatalities are probably tame enough to make it into this game
so.. I guess they can still somehow make it cool

All Boon has said was that there may be some sort of Super Move as a finisher. Could be Brutality like attacks, but I see less bloody "fatalities", like Superman flying up into the air and then blasting the opponent with a super eye lasers attack.

Brutalities got old really quickly. What is it but a combo that's overly drawn out. Even explosions, and generic as they were in MK3, wouldn't add any spice for me.
In order for brutalities to work, they would completely have to alter the concept, but I can't see how they would still be "brutalities" after undergoing that. Perhaps make the final move unique for all characters (freeze beam/fire attack), but a lot of characters would probably fall short in that case. God knows how many weak fatalities there were in MKD and MKDA.

I don't know in how many threads it has been mentioned, but everyone should take a look at Def Jam.
Those Blazing moves could be just as well called Brutalities. After you're done with your opponent, realistically he'd be either dead, in a coma or paralysed.

Brutalities kick ass!
I have a feeling that fatalities will be in MK vs DC, but they won't include blood & gore. It has been done before. Nightwolf's MK3 fatalities had no blood & gore. Tanya's MK4 head twist fatality did not have any blood & gore either.

Yeah, but think about it, it was only two characters that had fatalities that had no gore. Why make a fatality when you have nothing coming out of they guy? Plus, it would be the same thing over and over again if somehow there were to be no blood in fatalities
Most of them would either be a neck snap, burning the opponent into a crisp, or the magical "Kill the guy off screen" ability.
Point is, it would be utterly useless to have them perform a fatality with no blood and gore showing.
CHEERS!
Fatalities are already the same thing over and over again.
So instead of having puddles of blood we'll probably get bruises and broken bones. And instead of the gazillions head, limb or organ ripper, we might get broken necks, people pummeled to death or other power incorporated finishers.

Too bad there aren't fatalities... I mean, I don't mind either way as long as their are finishers, but I would just love to see a Superman fatality where he threw you into the sun lol. A little over the top there, but thats nowhere near as over the top as Cyrax blowing up the Earth. I think they'll be a mix between a brutality and a fatality, but then again, maybe its like neither of those. Whats the difference really? Punching a guy's head off isn't brutal and fatal at the same time?

Maybe they could show the really bloody ones in silhouette or monochrome? Like Sub-Zero rips off a head and he goes black and the background goes red, so the blood is black. Or they could just do it in black and white.
