MK is just one of their games that brings in a lot of money, I know it's not the only game and I'm aware they have struggles. That was more of a downer then these recent stocks you're talking about and yes btw MKO DID indeed post that story.

Like my old professor said once, investing in stocks=big gamble, sometimes you do well, others not so much.
One month a companies stocks can be good, another down in the dumps. You might as well play lotto dude. That's what he used to tell us and he spent his whole life in stock market.

Blitz(even though I'm not a football guy) this game sells for the football buffs, it might not be madden but it still a pretty good game. KF garra loves it on here.
Cruis N series coming to the wii with old compilation and new game(fun arcade racer)
I disagree with you on the fans bit, I've been a hardcore MK fan from the beginning and let me tell you, they HEARD the fans bitch about this character not being in MK:DA or in MK D and put them in MKA. Wanted online play, we got online play..new modes, we got new modes etc, some fans wanted storyline answered, midway said ok, we'll give you bios. They do listen to the fans, and in fact UMK3 you forgot to mention btw and it had a shitload of downloads for the 360 arcade and also won awards on gamestop, other mags for best oldschool fighter for an arcade 360 game. You know how many oldschool MK fans(which outnumber the 3D MK fans btw,) were happy with that? TONS. But in a nutshell, that whole "this company doesn't do enough to please the fans" is not only old but can be said about any game really. You will always find those fans who bitch about something, the most trivial nonsense and you'll always find fans who like what each new game brings to the table.
I don't believe Midway is under "Bad" bad= is literally bankrupt and out of business, that's bad. Granted, a lot of gaming companies struggle, Ubisoft, EA, Capcom etc, etc. Most go thru ups and downs, Midway is no different. Do you know that EA has got sued in the past? Bungie is now separate from microsoft....meaning no more "great halo" games, there's that RPG like halo game coming out halo wars whatever...but nobody is going to play that except the PC buffs..
As for your top three games selling, well GTA=automatic fanbase and way overrated most of which are sony fanboys. And I think GTA's "hotness" has gone down a little since Saint's Row received a lot of good feedback, I mean they're making GTA 4 and it's STILL not online...Saints Row>>GTA. And PS3 got the rights from microsoft to make Saint's Row games now(Saint's Row 2)...what does that tell you? Saint's Row hurt GTA if they didn't do that, GTA 4 would have been FUCKED.

MKD just so you guys know is voted the worst MK game ever made by Midway so far in general..
My opinion, I'd rather play MKA a game that does indeed have problems but at least it's more then just 50/50 mix ups and easy plant glitches into free throws...not to mention two guys owning the whole game gets dull real fast.
As for SSBB, it'll be fun but if it doens't have sonic that's just dumb with all the hype it's getting with that. MK8 will be interesting none the less and I think better then MKD and MKA easily.
No onto red, the only reason Halo 3 sold more then MKA is simple. More fans and better online play and a lot more popular. Only reasons...and everyone(well not everyone) but most FPS fans have this concept that Halo is the best and only shooter out on the market within the past 5 years worth playing for xbox. Those are your reasons right there. Hell, the other shooters come in a distant second and as for those killzone fanboys thinking they'll be "the halo killer" I have this to say, think again...

I went over to my buds house last weekend, played some halo 3 online. Only about ...ummm 5, 500, 999 people on or something ridiculous. The game has a map showing how many players are on, the numbers were staggering.
Tekken 5 PSP has a broken character in it FTR, that's what dave on here told me as well as a few friends of mine that are Tekken fans, so they have to ban that character if it's played seriously like you'll ban KAK in MKA.

MK is just one of their games that brings in a lot of money, I know it's not the only game and I'm aware they have struggles. California midway complex shut down a year or so ago, as well as one in aussy I believe. That was more of a downer then these recent stocks you're talking about and yes btw MKO DID indeed post that story.

I disagree with you on the fans bit, I've been a hardcore MK fan from the beginning and let me tell you, they HEARD the fans bitch about this character not being in MK:DA or in MK D and put them in MKA. Wanted online play, we got online play..new modes, we got new modes etc, some fans wanted storyline answered, midway said ok, we'll give you bios. They do listen to the fans, and in fact UMK3 you forgot to mention btw and it had a shitload of downloads for the 360 arcade and also won awards on gamestop, other mags for best oldschool fighter for an arcade 360 game. You know how many oldschool MK fans(which outnumber the 3D MK fans btw,) were happy with that? TONS. But in a nutshell, that whole "this company doesn't do enough to please the fans" is not only old but can be said about any game really. You will always find those fans who bitch about something, the most trivial nonsense and you'll always find fans who like what each new game brings to the table.
I don't believe Midway is under "Bad" bad= is literally bankrupt and out of business, that's bad. Granted, a lot of gaming companies struggle, Ubisoft, EA, Capcom etc, etc. Most go thru ups and downs, Midway is no different. Do you know that EA has got sued in the past? Bungie is now separate from microsoft....meaning no more "great halo" games, there's that RPG like halo game coming out halo wars whatever...but nobody is going to play that except the PC buffs..
As for your top three games selling, well GTA=automatic fanbase and way overrated most of which are sony fanboys. And I think GTA's "hotness" has gone down a little since Saint's Row received a lot of good feedback, I mean they're making GTA 4 and it's STILL not online...Saints Row>>GTA. And PS3 got the rights from microsoft to make Saint's Row games now(Saint's Row 2)...what does that tell you? Saint's Row hurt GTA if they didn't do that, GTA 4 would have been FUCKED.

And the one RPG game that does well and still does is WOW and that's for PC, not any consoles.
@Iori, MK:DA is hardly broken compared to the likes of MKD and MKA dude, it has some tricks to it but so does every fighter, and like you said the infinites are rare in that game and throws are blockable which helps out. But I see what you're saying.

I went over to my buds house last weekend, played some halo 3 online. Only about ...ummm 5, 500, 999 people on or something ridiculous. The game has a map showing how many players are on, the numbers were staggering.
Tekken 5 PSP has a broken character in it FTR, that's what dave on here told me as well as a few friends of mine that are Tekken fans, so they have to ban that character if it's played seriously like you'll ban KAK in MKA.
360 UMK3>>>everything else online as far as fighters online easily, and I have no doubt in my mind the DS version will play great as well since the same people who worked on the 360 UMK3 port are working on the DS version, and as for wifi I play it every day my mario kart DS and it plays smooth as anything.

As for SSBB, it'll be fun but if it doens't have sonic that's just dumb with all the hype it's getting with that. MK8 will be interesting none the less and I think better then MKD and MKA easily.
No onto red, the only reason Halo 3 sold more then MKA is simple. More fans and better online play and a lot more popular. Only reasons...and everyone(well not everyone) but most FPS fans have this concept that Halo is the best and only shooter out on the market within the past 5 years worth playing for xbox. Those are your reasons right there. Hell, the other shooters come in a distant second and as for those killzone fanboys thinking they'll be "the halo killer" I have this to say, think again...
Hell, you can't compare any fighting game MK, SF, Tekken or DOA4 even to the likes of Halo. Halo has a freaking worldwide fanbase man. No fighter can even compete, hell most games on consoles can't.
I went over to my buds house last weekend, played some halo 3 online. Only about ...ummm 5, 500, 999 people on or something ridiculous. The game has a map showing how many players are on, the numbers were staggering.
Tekken 5 PSP has a broken character in it FTR, that's what dave on here told me as well as a few friends of mine that are Tekken fans, so they have to ban that character if it's played seriously like you'll ban KAK in MKA.
360 UMK3>>>everything else online as far as fighters online easily, and I have no doubt in my mind the DS version will play great as well since the same people who worked on the 360 UMK3 port are working on the DS version, and as for wifi I play it every day my mario kart DS and it plays smooth as anything.

MKD just so you guys know is voted the worst MK game ever made by Midway so far in general..

MK is just one of their games that brings in a lot of money, I know it's not the only game and I'm aware they have struggles. California midway complex shut down a year or so ago, as well as one in aussy I believe. That was more of a downer then these recent stocks you're talking about and yes btw MKO DID indeed post that story.
So, yes I'm aware of their ups and downs...just because you're more involved in stocks and we're not doesn't mean you're midway's stock rep on MKO to tell all of us "midway's getting sued or stocks are down" no offense dude but I really don't think anyone here cares that much.
Like my old professor said once, investing in stocks=big gamble, sometimes you do well, others not so much.
One month a companies stocks can be good, another down in the dumps. You might as well play lotto dude. That's what he used to tell us and he spent his whole life in stock market.

I disagree with you on the fans bit, I've been a hardcore MK fan from the beginning and let me tell you, they HEARD the fans bitch about this character not being in MK:DA or in MK D and put them in MKA. Wanted online play, we got online play..new modes, we got new modes etc, some fans wanted storyline answered, midway said ok, we'll give you bios. They do listen to the fans, and in fact UMK3 you forgot to mention btw and it had a shitload of downloads for the 360 arcade and also won awards on gamestop, other mags for best oldschool fighter for an arcade 360 game. You know how many oldschool MK fans(which outnumber the 3D MK fans btw,) were happy with that? TONS. But in a nutshell, that whole "this company doesn't do enough to please the fans" is not only old but can be said about any game really. You will always find those fans who bitch about something, the most trivial nonsense and you'll always find fans who like what each new game brings to the table.
I don't believe Midway is under "Bad" bad= is literally bankrupt and out of business, that's bad. Granted, a lot of gaming companies struggle, Ubisoft, EA, Capcom etc, etc. Most go thru ups and downs, Midway is no different. Do you know that EA has got sued in the past? Bungie is now separate from microsoft....meaning no more "great halo" games, there's that RPG like halo game coming out halo wars whatever...but nobody is going to play that except the PC buffs..
As for your top three games selling, well GTA=automatic fanbase and way overrated most of which are sony fanboys. And I think GTA's "hotness" has gone down a little since Saint's Row received a lot of good feedback, I mean they're making GTA 4 and it's STILL not online...Saints Row>>GTA. And PS3 got the rights from microsoft to make Saint's Row games now(Saint's Row 2)...what does that tell you? Saint's Row hurt GTA if they didn't do that, GTA 4 would have been FUCKED.

Midway is under - bad. They need some HUGE success. Despite what mortalkombatonline.com news page says MK hasn't been that big of anything since MK DA and cartridge days. Midway WILL make the next game not for the fans of the mk series but fans of all the popular titles out there right now. You've got 3 main type of games other than sports that are selling.
