What if Noob Saibot ended up with Two Fighting styles instead! What would be the other one? *Pondering*

2 unarmed styles? That's kind of a tough one actually. I would say Fan Zi, but I'd like to see either Sektor or Smoke have that. Then again, they do have Fan Zi and Ba Shan Fan, which are the same martial art. Overall, hard to say.

Jade's Fan Zi sound interesting... She was kinda fun to play. Its been a LONG time.

I'll try out Hotaru and Jade, To see if i can adapt to one those style.

Well, the reason why I say Fan Zi is because it's a Northern Kung Fu style that has acrobatic moves in it and is big on striking and joint-locking. I still feel it would go well with either Sektor or Smoke, but if it were to be Noob's other style, I hope it can be toned up.

I 100% agree with "Fan Zi", as secondary fighting style. I'm actually getting the hang of it, and feels alright too.

But not the "Ba Shan Fan"! Its too actward and funky. Worst than Monkey!

Jade's other style "Kuo Shou" is under consideration.

Fan Zi and Ba Shan Fan are the same martial art. The MK team messed up both of them by making the movement slow. Gameplay-wise, Ba Shan Fan is better than Fan Zi, because it has better combo mix-ups and B + 1 is a good mid pop up.

Kuo Shou, which is supposed to be spelled Kuoshu, is Chinese for "national art". The MK team messed up even worse with Kuoshu as it is not a martial art, but one of the many broad terms for Chinese martial arts (sometimes even referring to Taiwanese martial arts). It shouldn't be in any game whatsoever.

Kuo Shou an't bad all! Just lacking combos! I thought about this style and i think Kira could use it.

I don't care if there same martial arts! Ba Shan Fan is funky! Its more Hotaru than Noob Saibot anyway

All i'm saying is, I pick Fan Zi over Ba Shan Fan anyday.

I think that Zha Chuan would be a good fighting style for Noob Saibot.

It's not that Kuo Shou is bad or anything. It's just that not only is it spelled incorrectly, but much more importantly, it's not an actual martial arts style but just a relatively modern term amongst the many different terms to refer to Chinese martial arts in general as opposed to a specific Chinese martial art. So there are no particular attributes whatsoever. The 3 useful moves like Kuo Shou in MKD are B + 1, a mid elbow pop up move, D + 3, a low, partial-knockdown move, and B + 4, a double axe kick that hits high twice and plant slides the opponent.

I don't think Sareena's and Kira's unarmed style choices will be finalized. I mean, I'd personally rather see Sareena with Chuojiao and Kira with Kenpo.

For Zha Chuan, I think it's fine with Sindel. Zha Chuan, one of the 5 main Long Fist styles, is a very graceful, rhythmic, and elegant style, one that imo, is fitting for someone like Sindel, who has it in MKD and MKA.

Chrome, I said one of the 5 main Long Fist styles, which are Cha Chuan (Cha's Fist), Hua Chuan (Flower Fist), Pao Chui (Cannon Fist), Hong Chuan (Red Fist), and Tai Tzu Chuan (Grand Emperor Tai Tzu's Fist).

Now thats strikes me just as weird.

Btw, notice how all Hong and Hua styles are homogramms and homopho-nes..(red/flood fist) (hua mountain/flower fist). I am seriously doubting that
wikipedia had it correctly for once, as persay, according to this tanglang chuan could also be considered long fist, as long fist is a dirct shaolin derivate if not shaolin by itself.

same with the north/south stuff. tanglang mantis is very much =/= with 7 star mantis and co. Same with She Quan with southern snakes (btw, Snake style as She quan is not snake in translations. It is She people
fist....if northern, than this must refer to the evenk and naga people who

My imput on the ninjitusue thing, i don't think he should have that when Noob use to quote when alive "i'm not a ninja. I'm lin kuei. Scorpion was a ninja."
So that style the clan would find insulting. But i wouldn't mind seeing how the lin kuei were out before the ninja's, the lin kuei having their own style thats still different. More powerful mightbe nice, ortherwise swifter.

I don't know on the second style. Either the one sub-zero_7th posted, or a neitherealm like style. Theres five other realms, i'm sure making up some styles won't hurt.

The weopon though, i would like to see noob saibot use his powers to make one from shadows, kinda like what sub-zero did with the kori blade. I do think noob-saibot should have a weopon thats shot range, so he can get in easily, and have a quick defence.

And yes, noob saibot should have his full name. They should not disrepect tobias work or demean Noob saibot by calling him (shudders)...Noob

Which means... Noob Saibot is probly going to get 2 fighting styles also!

STORY

Personally, i'd like his story to tie into Ashrah Ending if possible.

In a since Ashrah defeat Noob Saibot, but True Evil never really dies... so Noob Saibot retreats... while Smoke is shock trying to recollect himself.

Maybe the Demon Sword i chose for him could come into play. A sword that enhance his abilties and will use this new weapon to continue his quest to amass the army that he desires.

I'm going to break here... but hopefully if new ideas spark i'll be update this topic.

This time, Noob Saibot is a solo fighter and also his name should be Noob Saibot, not Noob!


SPECIAL MOVES

1. Black Fire Ball and Air Black Fire Ball that damages opponites?

maybe ,but if noob had a weapon of my chice it would probably be a sword like the goblins from moria had in LOTR you know like a rusty goblin schimtar or jus a plain schimtar,anyone agree?

Eh, I'm not fond of that idea. I see Noob as a speedy fighter and for him to wield a big, heavy sword like that would be bad.

I think if he doesn't get a weapon such as the Kusarigama, he should have another unarmed style. I'm just not sure what out of the ones that are in the game. Outside of the games, I would've suggested something like one of the Southern Praying Mantis styles like Jook Lum.

If he ends up with a weapon, then why not.

But i'm sticking with the idea of two hand to hand styles.
