What are people like myself who only own Wii supposed to do? It's just killing me that a new MK game is coming out and I cant get it. This was almost the same thing for me with Deception, but luckily Deception made it to the Cube. I doubt they'll do something like that with this game though. I suggest they do something similiar to Super Smash Bros Brawl, which allows us to just plug our Gamecube controllers in. This way they don't have to come up with a whole different control scheme with the Wii mote. But again, I highly doubt it. sadsadsadsad

1. Find a friend with one of the other consoles, rent the game, and play it over there.

Realize that Nintendo will never have the violent and awesome games with advanced game engines that PS3 and Xbox 360 can have, due to being targeted at younger audiences, and get a new system. I got a PS3 this summer, and got rid of my Wii, because Brawl sucked

And yet it keeps selling more go figure.


Besides there are alot of violent games on the wii now and besides Blood doesn't equal fun.

I think Brawl is amazing.

Anyway, I'm pretty much screwed. I can't afford another console nor do I want another one. Ah well. Guess I'm just gonna sit this one out and wait for MK9......sad

I've got my playstation 3 for what like since it came out..and I wouldn't beable to say that straight out like you just said that the games are not as advance like the PS3 or 360, because, I own a Ps3 and my cousin owns a Wii(which is a lot of fun). I personally think that both consoles are GREAT!.
But due to the fact that the Wii isn't "Unreal engine3" compatable, Maybe the Mk team may make a secondary game, like they did with unchained for the PsP, so u can keep ur hope up.

Just hope they made the game in Armageddon's engine so they release the game for wii as they did with Armageddon.

P.S. Brawl is awesome and so is the wii.

Xbox 360 core system is CHEAPER than a Wii now. Get that if all you need is the game system without the bell and whistles. I'd imagine that by the time MK vs DC rolls around, it'll be even cheapter.

Concerning the Wii, I'm as disappointed as anyone that the hardcore crowd is being neglected, but has anyone seen the Wii-exclusive game "MadWorld"? It's already 10x more violent and likely 10x as cool as this watered down crossover idea.

Unfortunatly for the wii, it just cannot handle unreal engine, which is what mk vs dc is built on. I assume the most you can hope for is a watered down version on an upgraded armageddon engine....good luck with that.

You REALLY should try playing No More Heroes and Resident Evil 4 on the Wii if you think that Nintendo won't allow violence and gore on their systems. The only problem with the Wii is that it's graphically inferior to the other systems. It's unfortunate because if it actually supported 1080P and had a better GPU in it we might have seen a lot more third-party games on the Wii.

The simple fact is, the Unreal Engine 3 CAN'T run on Wii. Epic has said as much. They tried, it couldn't happen. Start saving your pennies for a PS3 is my only advice. Or hope for a port on a different engine. Or mabey a toned down version of UE3 that can run on Wii. Put your Wii on Ebay for a buy it now price of $400. It'll sell to someone with money to burn. Then you won't need to save much.

I got my xboz 360 three days ago, purly because of this game....it better be worth it
