Meh. We know too little to know, but not like we care.

Chow Kang is a non-canon character... and as all non-canon characters ever created in the MK non-canon world (Movies/ TV series) he will be forgotten. oh wait, he already was.

As much as i would love to see some reference to Taja or Siro in MK 8 ( i think the game's storyline should be centuries ago, maybe in the Great Kung Lao's era), i am well aware that it's not going to happen.

Actually, Chow Kang is a canon character. He's mentioned in the MK1 instruction booklet, as is Sonya's dead brother Daniel. Chan Kang is the non-canon character from the movie.

And as pointed out already, they never said Chow was dead. Only missing.
Nevertheless, I still have zero interest in his appearing or even finding out what happened to him.
