Also, I agree on the point that it's one thing to have a super powerful system and it's another thing for software developers to actually fully utilize and harness that power. Microsoft has the edge when it comes to development because that's their bread and butter which is why I think developers are going want to development games for 360 before PS3.

I think anyone should first play each console full on before they open their mouth on the Wii, PS3, and the 360. Stop believing what reviewers/ the media feed you. Everything they say is based on their opinions and their experiences with the 360 and the PS3 (and the Wii).

my nephew's have a 360. its a good system ill tell you that. but you can eazily tell the better system.

Yeah man I have a PS3, my bro has a Wii in his room, and both my friend and cousin have a 360. So I would/should know the ups and downs of all three consules.
Damn I wish I could make a vid, telling what really counts for the systems. Some dumbass made a vid saying the Wii is the best because "Wii comes in more colors" and "Nintindo makes new controllers for all their systems"

It does in the end come down to personal preference, but I think at the same time there's that list of games for each respected console as well.

Me personally, I'm more of a Nintendo-Xbox guy. The main reason I got Xbox originally is because(IMO anyway) PS sucks ass online(sorry for those Sony guys here I'm not trying to piss anyone off but for me personally Xbox vs. Sony online is no comparison...Xbox is way more superior and just a much better overall playing experience. I also hardly get disconnected with my opponent on Xbox(unless their connection is ultra shitty) which is rare.

Now, note I'm not referring to MK2, Tekken on PS3 since I hear it's pretty good actually but rather MKD and MKA PS2 vs. Xbox/360.

I like the fact that Xbox is moderated and the fact that you can't cheat is definitely a plus....

And let's face it, you'll always find losers on both sides always trying to cheat.

So on the online end as far as Sony vs. Xbox, it's a nobrainer for me and Xbox is the better choice.

Now, as far as console preference I've always been a huge Nintendo fan not going to lie. I grew up on the best Nintendo titles being in my mid 20's currently, those games never get old. The DS and Wii also play great online, especially the DS(wii hasn't even seen the better titles yet...hehe) but DS speaking from lots of experience plays GREAT online. In fact not to take shots at Xbox or Sony but UMK3 DS plays even better then my experiences with MKD and MKA online, not joking. Yes, there's lag(as in all online games) but it works like a gem.

BTW, some of the xbox people are still hung up on MKA(not all) example I play the game like twice a week, maybe 3 times now I'm so hooked on my DS UMK3 right now I almost have no interest in playing MKA anymore but still my love for MK games in general never dieoff.



I hope someday they put MK:DA and MK4 online for DS or Xbox because I really want to play those two MK's online.

MKF ~ stop comapring PS2 online w/ Xbox/360 online. we know that the xbox is better then PS2 online. AS far as features go. lag is the same when you face the SAME player on each system you will see that its the same. facing a different guy you will get a diffrent connection DUHHHHH

Bone and myself played on both systems, Groy and myself have, Quik and myself have, Konqrr and myself have + a bunch others IT WAS THE SAME TYPE OF CONNECTION.



Ok as far as features go, currently from what Wowiwin says the 360 has a few more then the PS3. However since i have owned the PS3 they have upgraded the features a few times and im sure they will upgrade them some more.

The only thing I be trippin on with the PS3 id that you can't message, or chat when you're playing a game like you can on the 360. You have to quit your game, go all the way back to the main PS3 menu, then check your message.

Like I said dude, don't take it to heart man. I'm merely expressing my views based on my experience and the facts on both consoles....as far as the online department.

For them it might have been the same type and I do remember bone at one point saying he liked the Xbox connection better...

I have played the PS2 online at my friends house who has a better connection then mine btw fios, and compared both. It was NOT the same for me, Xbox I didn't get disconnected once....PS2 it was utter crap, worse lag, camera all fucked up more then usual and I must have gotten disconnected god knows how many times...

I got the same 360 as you Trax. Makes more sense that you got that one instead of the Elite. Elite's not necessary... at all.

You're definitely right on that. I thought about it and realized that the only thing that's changed in the Elite is the fact that it's in black and has 120GB. I don't really need 120GB HDD. don't even have that much on my notebook.


And adding to that, I understand that the 40gb version is not fully backward compatible. But then again, that'll become irrelevant later on.

again like i said you never told anyone on the PS2 forum that you were going to be on the PS2 MKA. so you prolly played a bunch of west coast laggy players or east or south players w/ a low upload. this is due to the amount of players on the PS2 side vs the xbox side. YOU PLAYED THE WRONG FOLKS thats your fault.

again when you take the SAME 2 PLAYERS w/ the SAME CONNECTION have them play on both systems you get the SAME TYPE OF CONNECTION. Fios isnt that great i played a few folks and i did some reading on it, its not as great as its suppose to be.

i dont wanna hear again about your time on the PS2 on MKD AND MKA. every one knows that were to stick to the MKO/MKAC players. if you dont let yourself known by posting "hey im going to be on the PS2 MKA server on this date" your going to end up playing folks that use game cheats, use KAK's, quit and pull. yours and a few others opionions on the PS2 side means shit when you dont let yourself known that your gonna be on and play us MKO players.

Bone, Groy, Mesofly, Konqrr, quik, wugen & Myself. plus more guys like these. these are the guys i will trust what they say and i wont be able to say your wrong. these guys can stats their times on each system as fact since they played the actual MKD & MKA players (meaning non pullers, non quitters, non cheat device users, above average players).

i for one have experienced both systems and can say i enjoyed both equally, both have high level quality players!! i have had lag issues w/ certain players on both systems DUH its due to their lack of upload not the server we play on.

dude, im telling you, get the 80 gig. you wont regret it. backwards compatability is not only the factor here .

Dude, it doesn't matter lol xbox live and gamespy are nothing alike... I played a guy who's name was NYStateBuffrules obviously a fan of Buffalo who I did connect well with but still played like shit. Just admit that PS2 online isn't as good as Xbox. That's what I'm telling you, gameshark doesn't help Sony's case either. And yes, before you tell me the good players don't use that yes, yes I'm well aware just like the good players on our side don't pull or try to mod...at the same time that's somewhat irrelevant if you have some douche trying to cheat with GS codes...I read some on the MKD front on PS2 forums, people complaining about people online in general using speed, replenish health meter codes online...are you kidding me? lol like I said, I played quite a few players so you're telling me that ALL of those players just happened to have "bad connections" thus why I was having trouble? Come on...there's like maybe 2 guys on xbox I can think of that I can't even get a full round in. Gigadukebug, Pumkinking and sometimes eazytobeat on rare occasions. On PS2 that time it was every other match with a different player.

If you try to mod on xbox, your ass is grass and banned. Trust me, I've had friends on my list having to make new tags and negotiate with Xbox just to come back online...because they wanted to try to mod(see how far they'd get in games like Halo) before they got caught. I must say, that was a short life on that mod risk.

Lag when I played both was a lot worse on PS2 then Xbox...and it's not likeI played PS2 for 5 minutes, I played a whole day on there. You can't honestly compare gamespy vs. xbox live man. Yeah, I know there's good players on both ends but my beef is with the console, (not the players) I understand that you feel the need to defend PS2 online because that's where you came from but I've read on here even some PS2 players that say they enjoy Xbox live more overall and it's NOT the same experience online. I also agree with that. Personally, I don't know how you guys do it on PS2. I got frustrated in one day because I couldn't get a full match in with anyone I played that day... I also tried Burnout 3 on PS2 and god, not only lack of comp and bad lag on that game but it takes literally forever to get an online match...

If you played that game on both consoles, you'd understand what I'm saying.

As for lag, well it happens on all online games but I have to admit very rarely do I experience an amount of lag to let it really bother me when I'm on my xbox.
