I asked for Saturday of from work almost two weeks ago, and because it's going to rain Saturday and they desperately need extra people, my request was denied. I was supposed to go to two parties (one which is taking place on a boat and had a 20$ entrance fee), but now can only go to the boat party, and work a 10-hour shift on less than 5 hours of sleep.
I work 32-40 hours per week and cover many people who need the days off; I'm owed a day off taking on a shift I couldn't do.

The first time I saw Shang Tsung in a Mortal Kombat game me and my friends always pronounced in Shang "Toosung" which sounds really stupid. But we didn't know how to pronounce it when we were so young.

When something says 1-6 days I should have known to expect it on the sixth. It finally arrived!

Ginny isn't that innocent in the last three books... but she's not as slutty as a lot of HP fanatics make her out to be. I think JK had to make her relevant in the story somehow, so she decided to load us with every detail of Ginny's love life. She did the same with most characters except Harry, but that's understandable as Harry is always fixated on Voldemort..

In the beginning of the HBP the dude was scamping on some waitress, then he got down with Ginny. In the last book/ movie he was getting down with Cho Chang. Dude just don't like to take breaks.

Nice to finally see Hermoine and Ron together, though. The scene with him in the hospital was so cool, and funny.

Good news, the guy who killed my cousin back in '07 (remember?) got sentenced 16-20yrs in prison. It's not nearly harsh enough imo, but he'll be a felon, & nearing or in his 40's even if he serves good time, and gets out after 8-10 yrs.

His life is over no matter what. Messed up thing that we all pretty much knew about, was that my other cousin that was there when the shit popped off, didn't tell the whole truth. Lied to everybody and then just left town. Which in effect, allowed the killer to get a lessor sentence in the end.

I'm with you there, Pred, I feel he should have gotten more than one life sentence, but the term is acceptable (I guess) considering the circumstance you just outlined.
