I would argue KI1 Sabrewulf looked more bear-ish than rat-ish. As for Glacius, the pics speak for themselves:

I'm not a programmer or a visual designer, but how hard would it have been to slim down the neck? The costume was so close to being perfect.

Meh. It's a little bigger than it was, but when I think of KI1 and 2 Glacius, I totally think of a dude with a big thick neck like a goofy lookin' meathead football player.

I agree that Glacius should be built like a yeti, but the additional neck width makes him look almost like a cobra from the front view. From the side view, he reminds me of a old Image Comics character called The Maxx (that may be an exaggeration, but the point I'm trying to make is that the diameter of his head looks abnormally long).

Yeah I guess that and No Mercys qualify as news. Lots of people on the DH KI board complained that those finishing moves were left out initially. Personally, I just wanted great gameplay. Since Shadow Jago has an Ultimate Combo, I'm wondering if those will return for all characters as well...

Knowing MS I really wouldn't be surprised if they withheld the No Mercys to try and get people to buy them in the 2nd Season Pass. But either way, at least people are getting them.

Thought I'd post a bit of an update. IGN's schedule for E3 has been posted and Killer Instinct Season 2 is scheduled to be shown off on IGN's stream at 12:40 PDT on Tuesday June 10. IGN E3-2014, streaming schedule.
This doesn't account for IF MS shows of the game during their press conference, but I'm sure we will get more detailed info during IGN's coverage.

Nice. Definitely pumped to see what Iron Galaxy has cooked up so far for season 2. Also hoping to get some sort of idea as to when that's going to drop. Hopefully we won't have to wait until November.

I'm a bit nervous how Iron Galaxy is going to handle this. Double Helix did such an awesome job with KI, and I don't really like Iron Galaxy, but hopefully they will win me over...

Is it me or do his legs look kinda scrawny? I know he's a boxer so clearly he'll work more on upper body. But his legs look smaller to me.

Max also explains the new "recapture" mechanic. Basically it sounds like you can cashout combos during juggle states and then continue a combo on the ground.
Also TJ Combo's Instinct seems kind of broken IMO. If he gets KO'ed with a full Instinct meter, he basically gets a No Mercy, where he gets revived with 20% health, as a kind of last stand.

Oh, ok. I don't recall playing KI2 that extensively. I'm mostly familiar with the first game.
I'm curious if all characters will get this, or if it will be limited to just TJ Combo?

So I finally got an Xbone and I now have KI. And while I still think the treatment the game got was bad in terms of marketing and handling, the game itself is fun and great to play. The mechanics are new and interesting so it's hard for me to adjust but I'm addicted.
I know I'm quite a bit late but if for some reason anybody wants to play, my GT is Benevolent Sun1.

I honestly haven't played in a while, as I've been between games and playing other stuff (like Ultra Street Fighter 4, Mario kart 8 and just got Smash Brother's Brawl for Project M), but I'll play you if I'm on. I've been wanting to get back into the game.

I haven't played the game, but from what I can tell, Microsoft really rushed this to be a launch title when the devs weren't even finished, and instead get the rest of the roster via DLC.

That Microsoft wanted the new KI to be a launch title for Xbone meant for Double Helix to jump through some loops. It's indeed not optimal, but the game is still awesome and it continues to be built on.

This. Plus lets not forget how things where tied up when MS originally got denied on the copyright for the name "Killer Instinct" and took a year to work things out with Fox. That must have put their plans on hold.
