JL for sure, speaking though as how most here are marvel fans some how Avengers will win but wouldn't happen if it really happened.Just break it down. Superman alone can kill most of the Avengers easily, ...btw, I didn't see Bart Allen aka kid Flash before that known as Impulse in there and I know he was apart of the JL at some point.But thanks for the lists anyway.

I love Marvel to the death but this is an unfair matchup. Any shithole 2 bit lame ass character that DC has they throw in the JLA, and being that thats 90% of DC charcacters =). Lol, but 50 avengers cant beat the entire DC superhero universe. So, JLA wins based off pure out numbering.

Not only the outnumbered(well overall) but he said it's even as far as numbers...however NOT in power.Like you said JL simple has more powerful characters in this particular match up, therefore JL>Avengers.Superman, Manhunter and WW alone can take out most if not all of the Avengers if you think about it.

If you seriously break it down as far as powers, which will obviously determine this contest JL wins.

MKF, you make it sound so simple. Hulk, Thor, Iron-Man, Captain-America, wolverine and other marvel heroes are all very formidable foes. I'm going for JLA, just because they have Superman, but I think it's still a very close match.

Well, definitely not simple but you gotta figured Hulk is arguably one (if not) the most powerful in the group in The Avengers...Superman took him out in the comic.I see what you're saying but since Superman, Martian Manhunter and WW are apart of this or would be for sure I have to go with JL.

I do though believe that it would be interesting though for sure.

Avengers that could immediately give Superman a run for his money to varying degrees: Thor, Hulk, Giant-Man, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Hercules, Vision, Captain Marvel, Wonder Man, Ms. Marvel, Gilgamesh, Sersei, She-Hulk, Warmachine, Thing, Sub-Mariner, Quasar, Sandman, Thunderstrike, Captain Britain, Ares, Dr. Strange, The Sentry, Hulking...

Without any restrictions on the teams, I'm not sure I could even come close to picking a winner here. The sheer number of characters, and broad range of powers and abilities makes it one incredibly tough call!

Suffice to say, it isn't one-sided one way or the other, regardless of where any fans allegiance stands. DC does not have a monopoly on the insanely powerful, nor does Marvel have any strength of numbers.

It'd be one heckuva a war, though.
