Not that I'm majorly feeling this game, but I don't think it's that dreadful, aside from some questionable names, page issues and demo delays, I don't think they're really just horrendous.

"I'm not mean but I enjoy flaming their youtube page and supporting people leaving trolling messages on their page " Have any of you spoken Italian, been to Italy or even know how Italy is since you all assume that people will immediately act all normal since most of you live in the U.S. and assume people will always react how you think they will. Italians are not how you think they are since they are very sensitive to what others say and don't enjoy criticism. In fact, soccer (or rather football as it is called there) is in fact very serious business there. If you so much as say you don't like a a person's favorite group, that person is liable to assault and even kill you. A fan once shot a bazooka at his team's opponents since he didn't like them. Needless to say, the way the company is acting is similar to how they would normally act to other Italians. You all claim they are being babies by trolling others yet that is how Italians would react to something like that. They would see your message and think of it as a personal assault on their families since you don't know how long this game has been made or how much care they put into this game. While I won't buy this game, I consider it at least impressive for a first game from a foreign company. I may understand some anger and dislike over this game and over the delays but I cannot support the constant trolling you are giving these people. You make it sound as though Necrostorm killed your parents and you have made a vendetta to hate this game. I would also block you people if you acted the same way to me since you have done nothing but troll these people and claim you're the victims? If you didn't like the game, why haven't you simply done anything like just say "I don't like this game" and move on? I may hate Dragon Age 2 with a burning passion yet you don't see me leaving constant vitriol over every single mention of that game. I respect your opinions if you just said you dislike this game but your trolling is appalling. Wow... Let me clear you up on a few things... And mind you, I am Italian myself, and some of these people that I've talked to, I feel embarrassed that they are Italian. Never have I met a rude Italian person in my life, this is unacceptable for me.

I, unlike others, do not "troll" on their pages. I don't have to leave detailing messages behind on why I don't like what I saw because nine times out of ten, I get harassed anyways. Even the nicest of "I don't like this," gets trashed by people who praises this game as if it was the best game ever being created. No one likes to be nice, and a harmless little "you guys suck," after mentioning to them that their second demo is being delayed, I get called an "ass sniffer, a bimbino, a whore, fucking ass hole," and all these other names just because I said, "you guys suck." You cannot say I deserved that name calling for saying something so harmless as "you guys suck." No, I didn't deserve one bit of it.

I speak Italian, not good because it's not my first language. But you cannot tell me I can't speculate that majority of Italian followers this game has also works for Necrostorm. May I remind you that Miss Johanna herself came onto this site, forbidding all of us to talk harshly about their company. How she lashed out at us is exactly what some of these users are doing. I can easily say that they could be employees of their game because if the company is promoting their game on Youtube, chances of their employees are also members as well.

What this is, isn't trolling. It's criticizing everything they're releasing and so far it's not to my taste at all. I defend myself if I am being attacked by someone over something stupid. My opinions are allowed to be spoken, whether or not I'm being nice about it. I wouldn't go on their page and say, "This is the most retarded thing I've seen in my life. You fucktards know nothing about game development, go back making fucked up movies that will never be known to the public." If I want to degrade myself, I would have shown it more on this thread, but I'm not becuase that's not criticism, that's just insult.

But yes, these people do suck when it comes to keeping promises to show off their stuff. They think they can make it up be releasing something as mere as character themes that has little difference in sound. If they have one more demo being released and it gets delayed... Seriously, they will suck. I don't care if it is their first time, you don't make a promise then not keep it. Sure, the same thing could be said about Boon and the DLC, but that's a different ball game. Still, you don't make a promise then not keep it, and make it up to the public by releasing a gift to them. That's poor marketing and it sure as hell is not convincing me why I should actually get this game if it ever comes out.

These guys should, however, endure the hate, because as I stated previously, their spokeswoman came onto this site and trashed all of us becuase we were calling their company "a fake." And she was degrading herself even further. And those who are on to just troll, why does it bother people? It's Youtube. That site is different than this site, where trolling isn't tolerated. But because Youtube isn't a heavily moderated site, who the fuck cares what goes on in it. They shouldn't, however, refuse to let those who dislike the game be banned to speak on their pages. That's just an utterly disappointing thing to do on their side and they need to accept hate. MK gets hate like that I'm sure of it, and you don't see people stopping that. Just let it be and let whoever wants to say whatever say it without being labeled as a troll. Because if you prevent people from hating this game and ban/remove every bad comment on their videos, it not only gives off a bad impression towards the company, but it's definitely misleading a lot of people in thinking that it is the greatest thing to see when it's not towards others. So, really, they're trolls themselves too if you look at it. You don't do that, and promoting things on Youtube isn't a good strategy either.

I will say one thing, for an independent game it's not that bad, I mean most of the characters aren't bad either. I'm a bit jealous, I would love to get my character ideas submitted into any type of media, it must be pretty sweet to do that and have your dream character visualized.

I would do almost anything for a chance to get my characters into a game, whether it bombs or sucks or w/e at least they're doing something they enjoy doing, obviously I hope they succeed because maybe if they catch the eye of a more mainstream developer, they can improve drastically on some things.

1: I don't think this looks as horribly bad as some are aying, and I do agree with Espio.

2: I'm not calling anyone out o saying I am against their way of doing things, but I've always thought something like this:

If you like it, tell them you like it, it will motivate them, let them know to keep working hard, maybe even harder, sense they have a fanbase

If you are a fighting game fan and don't like it, tell them what they could improve, how they could improve it, and if they are doing anything right to begin with. But try not to let things like "I don't like the characters" get in the way, because that is a subject that relies too heavily on opinions, and ultimatley it doesn't matter how a character looks, a fighting game can still be good. This, however, shows that you care enough to at least offer some advice, and could be a potential fan.

But what does, "This sucks" accomplish? Why do you need to let them know you don't like it? Why waste the time? You added a view to their video and a comment to their inbox... Just to tell them you think it's bad an nothing more?

I mean, opinions are opinions, but some are so small that they don't have to be stated. It's not like you care about the game that much. You don't even hate it that much, because otherwise, you would have explained why it deeply offends you.

I do, however, think that most time small companies that are just starting NEVER handle criticism well. Sense the company is small, they will get personal.

It's not like NRS openly acknowledges EVERYONE who doesn't like MK. They need to realize this and change it, or they will be bound to get into troube for something like it in the future, trust me.

Well "this sucks" should be enough motivation for them.

Is it decent for an indie game? ehh. . no, there are tons of indie games that out rank this. Amnesia being one of them.

And Leach is clearly a rip off of The Hulk. They should get in trouble for that.

The company most likely acts the way it did because they are foreign and aren't used to the hate they are getting, so they consider it very personal. Being a small company doesn't help much since they see your criticism and think of it as propaganda to take away potential customers which small companies desperately need.

As for the trolling, what does doing things like m0sp3h's trolling of their page accomplish? All you are doing is insulting them and not offering any criticism that could potentially help them improve. Icebaby, you said that you posted, "your salty tears are delicious." How is that criticism? That just seems to be trolling, regardless of what you think since that is condescending to them.

Too bad what I do on Youtube isn't trolling because I don't go on that site just to be a bitch to people. I will, however, go back to anyone who is against me just saying, "It sucks." I've tried offering them other ideas and opinions and that gets slandered by their crazed fans too.

Neither option can be tolerated whatsoever by anyone who is a huge fan of this game. It's ridiculous to see that they delete any negative comments, even if it is just a harmful "It sucks," comment. That is not a good way at all to show off this game. So, bottom line for me is, I can write whatever I want as long as I'm not degrading myself. You see people write stuff like "It sucks," on here and not too many people actually cares.

It's Youtube, it's not like it's a life or death situation.

This company can't focus on pleasing all of the haters that are going to hate no matter how good of a job they do. They should just continue making the product that is a culmination of their own vision and hard work.

Still Plasma vs. Plasma, but showcases a new stage, new moves for Plasma and how the Deathrip thing works. I think the Deathrip idea is now actually pretty nice, it's a real quick animation instead of a 10-second MK9 fatality.

He sent one of his fireball thingies to the opponents head which caused the internals to expand and rupture. It's actually quite obvious :/

Game looks good. I was some what dissapointed with the blood. I wish the other character would have put up a fight.

I thought so... but it just didn't look right every time I viewed it.

This gameplay video actually made me change my mind on the series, I'm actually rooting for them now and I also like how quick and to the point the deathrips are, they're not hella long.

Plasma's gameplay looks pretty darn cool actually, very fast.

I wanna vote for Malcom, Toxic, Morbo, and Nova, I wanna see what they're about now, really like the plasma powers.

Ugly and uninspired character designs and names, slow and mediocre looking gameplay, boring music and over the top cheesy violent finishers... This must be the baddest Mortal Kombat rip-off I have ever seen.

Where's the originality?

Even worse that Tattoo Assassins? LOL That video proved this game looks promising despite some setbacks.

Back then, there were clones of popular fighting games EN MASSE! And not just of Mortal Kombat... But in day and age, companies should know better than to make some degraded clone of a game and try to make it seem original when in the end it's just a bad rip-off.

So yes, I consider this worse.

Difference is that this is a foreign indie company making their first game who want this game to bring back how people felt during the 80's so by saying they are a rip-off, you must proved they did right.

I fail to see how that is a good thing though. Because I don't see it as a good thing. Foreign indie company or not, at least try and be original or die out with the rest of them.
