There's absolutely nothing about it that interests me. The character designs are pathetic, the overall art style is boring, the "Deathrip" effects look fake, even the gameplay has nothing special to it...

Fake or not, this looks like a really crappy game (again, pardon my French).

Why is everyone being so critical? It's not like anyone has played the full game.

We judge from what we see. It doesn't matter if we have played the full game or not, our opinions are based from the footage they've shown us so far, and that is what we are critisizing. The full game might turn out to be amazing, but from what we've seen so far, I rather doubt it...

It reminds me alot of Tao Feng, actually... trying to be new and cool, but rather fails hard at it.

I've seen videos of it, and it seems really thought out. [Tao Feng]..Miles better than this...stuff.

I'd still play this though, provided the gameplay has improved significantly since the non-demo "hey we really are designing a game" build.

I have a feeling that this demo is going to repeat what the training demo did. As in, we're going to announce a date to release it, but we're going to release it two days later because stuff isn't finished.

I'd like to discuss some of the character names, first and foremost I think some of these characters should have kept their normal names, Miguel is infinity better than Toxic; Tiksa is also better than Nova, though Nova isn't terrible. Malcom Stainer is fine and the generic monster characters not having names is fine BUT I don't think they were well selected, Morbo and Silent are fine, but Leech, Crystal, and Protein X especially, no, just no.

I like when characters have their own name and it's not tied to their powers, and I know MK has that, but my opinion is still the same.


I reread agent Malcom's bio and it turns out the device is going to be controlling him too, I know they said there would be no heroes, but it just seems like having every single character, even the normal humans being controlled by something is rather generic and uninspired, we've already got Morbo, Protein X, Nova, and Silent in addition to agent Malcom, meh.
