I never said that people can't type what they want. I just want to state out that posting that the game is fake post after post would allow you to figure out that the person doesn't like the game. So I'm saying that why spend the time to say this, when most of the people typing in this thread are fans of the game. You don't have to be a fan, just don't ruin the excitement of waiting for a demo, saying that its fake for the rest of us, post after post, after post......

You people do realize that this demo was nothing but another excuse because they delayed the real one again?

They promised us the 1st Demo. They said you could perform this "Deathrip" in it. They were talking about a whole other demo. But all of a sudden, they took the old "1st Demo"-banner and wrote "Plasma training demo" on it with MS Paint, and gave that demo to us. Now there's 3 Demos on the site..

Don't you think that's really pathetic? You can't even give ANYTHING in time and keep promising stuff you can't keep?
Edit: It also seems that you're able to infinite your opponent to death by cornering them and using crouching Attack Button 1-tapping.

Was the demo any good? The youtube video looks like an ugly clone of Iori Yagami.

So this might come as a shocker but, this training demo is pretty rough. While the art style and digitized characters is interesting enough, mechanic wise there's little to this game. I'm hoping that this was a pretty early build of the game because so much needs addressed. For example, recycled animations, terrible jump physics, few normal attacks , lack of a combo system, lack of throws, lack of scripted combos, uninformative UI HUD, and that's just at first glance.

I'm still hoping this thing comes together for Necrostorm though.

the official site has been updated with a new character bio. this time its a more "human" character named "Crystal". looks like he'll fight with a gun very similar to the Plasma rifle thats seen in the Halo series.

A new character has been revealed. Protein-X... and he looks fucked up beyond belief. :P

My names for my 30+ OC's are way better than that.

I know why. Because Necrostorm is coming out of the gate basically saying "This is the best fucking game ever and if you don't like it, you can suck on our asses."

And, surprisingly, people don't respond well to that.
Edit: I liked Protein-X better in Total Recall, when he was named Quato.

Well I'm genuinely creeped out by several of those characters... specifically... Protein X and Silent....but I adore Agent Malcom, I love the normal guys and he so far appears to be the only non-malicious entity revealed so far, I'm curious if there's any actual female characters in the game, Arachnid isn't female, it's some weird morphing creature, that takes the form of a female.

Necrostorm is the company which is making this game that Piranhasoldier works at. They're an Italian movie company that is starting to make video games, this being one of their first. Lots of people think this game is horrible but I think it's kind of good for a newcomer to the world of gaming, especially a foreign one.

Well Nova, Amaze, Toxic, and Squalo haven't been revealed yet. Maybe one of them is a chick? Amaze sounds feminine to me.

Hmmm, this looks pretty good, but I think it needs to be darker and edgier. Maybe add some more black. Do you have any Linkin Park that you can play in the background? I think that would make it better.

Anyway, the game play at this point looks shit. The story is very wtf but also pretty cool. I love the deathrips. (Always wanted MK to use that style for fatalities).

Right now this looks like a game in league with BIO FREAKS, Time Killers, and Thrill Kill.

It will be more fun to read about and watch FINISHER videos of than it will be to actually play.

I hope so, but I would have thought Crystal was a female character, but it's a guy, I was quite disappointed and confused haha.

I agree Amaze sounds femine, only other one I could see being a female is Nova, can't wait to see the rest of the roster.

Hopefully they get creepier I initially wasn't creeped out at all by the first few characters, Leech and Plasma don't come off as scary, Plasma reminds me of a trendy fellow and Leech just reminds me of the Hulk.

Amaze is confirmed as female. I remember spoting a comment to one of the death cargo videos. It was a reply to a comment asking which characters are female. A reply was made by the necrostorm manager saying that Crystal and Amaze are the only female characters. I think i remember the necrostorm manager calling Amaze "Amaze-ing" or something like that. I can't remember. :P

Crystal is a dude, though.
