Are you fucking kidding me.

Even though I am not intending on getting the demo, I had a feeling their release date for the demo was going to be a fuck up, as in, it should have been pretty obvious this would have happened.

You will know the 8th we Never lie.
We understand if you believe the game is a "fake": the game is too much Great, and too much "old style" to be true,BUT AT LEAST IT IS TRUE, DON'T WORRY.

Thank You

No offense intended, but I do take a perverse pleasure in poking the bear as it were.

I worry about the legitimacy of any corporation who would take the time to respond to me.

yeah wow, i thought it was odd for a company to get soooo incredibly pissy about being called fake, and originally i never once thought the game was fake and looked forward to a small business producing their own violent video game, BUT if it gets pushed back any more I'll assume fake and forget as well.

I'm eager to try out the demo. Visually, this is what I hoped MK would have looked like, hands down a good looking game but I can't say the same for the gameplay until I try out the demo. Hopefully it's intense glasses

Well, today's the day this so-called "demo" is coming out. I'm afraid if I download this demo, something is going to happen to my laptop... And I need this for school, so I'm not gonna. But, if anyone on this site is, let me know... That is, if this demo even exists today.

I'd be glad to report when necessary.. If I'm correct, it should be out in 40 minutes or less.

It's up, it's real, and it's just Plasma vs Plasma in an endless training stage. Download it and try, I got bored pretty quickly.

I have it but am wondering how to use that pause button. I would enjoy reconfiguring the controls.

First the good. The graphics are very very nice. It's like how MK would look if they still use digitized graphics. Animations are also really fluid. It would be nice if they're was dynamic lighting that would reflect on the characters but that sounds difficult.

However, this really isn't a demo. There isn't much to do so it's still hard to tell if the game will be fun. There wasnt any enemy A.I. The fact that there wasn't any menu or tutorial to guide you on what to do was a bit frustrating. I was using a keyboard and the placement of the buttons is a bit awkward.

I'm glad it exists though. I always knew that it did.

Edit-If anyone figures out more moves let me know. I know the following:
down, forward+7 give you a blast
down, back +8 gives you this sick combo
Anymore?
How do you use Ultras?

As I've said before:

This game being fake would be the best case scenario.

Let me restate what I said exactly.

If this game is fake, it's a good fake. If this game is real, it's real shitty.

Whelp, not sure what being confident means to a game that looked and acted like a fake game.

Doubts were more on my mind than anything, but its still a laughable joke of a game, since apparently this is a demo even though someone clearly wrote that it doesn't even do that much to begin with.

If a fighting game throws a demo out, don't you think that, you know, a demo should show more than just one character and it's opponent that isn't itself? And it could help to throw in a move list? As well as knowing how to pause the game?

After reading the comments, it appears, in my perspective, they did a HORRIBLE job with the demo. If all of this was said, I am confident that the game is just going to be horrible when it comes out.

People do have the right to complain about the game itself, whether you like it or not. As long as it's not directly attacking anyone or just being a troll, opinions against this game have the right to be typed out.

You guys are so critical. It's sad how people in the world just can't be nicer. And see the good side of things. Yeah, it's a shitty demo. But this company is making their first game. I congratulate them on even making it that far.

I'm having trouble performing attacks. I don't have a controller so what do you people use, is it the numeric keypad that I have to use to perform jabs and kicks? Sucks if it is cause my laptop doesn't have one.

hmmm...I figured out how to build meter.

Back, Back, 4 makes you dash back while boosting your meter
Forward, Forward 4 makes you dash forward while boosting your meter

Moves that drain your meter

down, back, 9 enhances that sick combo move but uses up meter.

I'll admit, this game has potential. It could be good. I just wish we were given more. Their website say they'll be giving us updated demos though.

I did see the good side with this game. Even though before I completely turned my attitude where its at, I really was interested and ignored the comments that were against this game. Really I did, up until that Johanna person has to start yelling at people and insulting others and making it seem like this game is literally the Holy Grail out on Youtube. A company wouldn't send out their own employee and bash anyone who criticizes this game, they would have told her to knock that off and get back promoting the game.

Despite that I never got told by this woman, just read what she has to say, even on here, makes me feel that this isn't necessary. I mean when MK was still in pre-production, did we see anyone from WB or NS coming onto this site and getting into defensive mode and start yelling back? No, we didn't see one ounce of them, even employees who are users themselves on this site.

If a company has that going on with it, even if its just one person, that tells me a lot that "hey, this game can't handle negative criticism." And that's bad if a company can't accept that. Yes, this might be a very stupid way of changing minds on something, but you know, as an animator myself, you should expect feedback such as, "it looks fake," if it's a game. It really does to some people. And you know how you fix that? By showing people that you can really pull off an awesome demo launch and then a good game. But if you can't, then it's really not that good of a game as everyone says.

I won't ridicule anyone who has an issue with this, that's not my intention, but this thread should allow those who have strong feelings against this game to speak out with or without people having a hard time accepting that.

Downloading the training demo now so I thought I'd comment on the whole Johanna M thing. Basically, Necrostorm apparently has a really bizarre infrastructure in that they claim to "recruit young professionals through the web and manage 80% of all production processes exclusively via the web." Further, they state that "All professionals who work with us maintain their own head offices" so it sounds like there's some pretty loose management.

All this makes sense given that Johanna was definitely out of line (although like Erik, I thought that it was pretty damn funny) but likely is able to do so because of Necrostorm's structure.

Even with Johanna spazzing out like she did, I'm hoping that this game lands Necrostorm a publisher so they could potentially develop a console project. We'll see how it goes. EDIT: Oh and KingJolly, they posted a movelist for Plasma not sure if you saw it.

I'm not going to download the demo, but I just watched some gameplay on YouTube and Plasma reminds me of Iori from KoF.
