I am really glad of how balanced the game seems so far. There is no over usage of street fighter or xmen characters - too many of them in marvel vs capcom 2.

I'm also a fan of Tron Bonnie confirmed. It really suits the style of the marvel vs capcom series in how it doesn't take itself too seriously.

I am also hoping for more lesser known Marvel characters to appear in the game.

My wishlist includes Karalina Dean (rainbow runnaway), Hawkeye (original), Iron Fist, Miss Marvel and Ultron.

I would have taken Proto Man or any one of the 8 bosses from Mega Man 1, 2, or 3 over Tron Bonne. I would have taken vile or one of the X-Hunters over Tron Bonne. I would have even taken Dynamo or Iris over Tron Bonne.

Justin Wong suggested Sigma. Why not him? What is so great about this Tron Bonne chick?

Her inclusion is really intended to please the MvC2 scene, so it's understandable if people don't get why she made it in on an aesthetic level.

Dont know about Spidey but Seth Killan has deconfirmed Mega Man X to be in MVC3,Zero is very possible....and:

- Marvel vs. Capcom 3 silhouettes should be taken with a grain of salt

X-23. Niiice.

Despite the inevitable fan outrage of putting a character in that is pretty much a female wolverine, this game is so crazy I can't work out what the hell is going on... so it's okay in my book. It is nice of the to put a mutant that wasn't from the 1993 cartoon. Females are also nice.

Considering the characters they aren't using, and the supposed reasons for some of those omissions, it's understandable that a literal Wolverine clone might be more than a bit disappointing. I don't know what X-23 can do that a Wolverine won't already, or that someone like Elektra might not have been able to do just as well.

Ehhhh...nothing against X-23, but I think there are better characters they could've chosen.

I don't know anything about this X-23 person, and I don't care. She looks bland as hell. As much as I didn't want Tron Bonne, at least I don't feel an overwhelming dark cloud of bland when I see her. I'm sure a handful of users could say "Well, if you read the comics, then you'd know X-23 is actually really coo..." No. Don't care. Don't care. Don't care.

If this chick is in but Psylocke is not, I'm gonna lose it.

X-23?! Not impressed. I mean there is storm, psylocke, ms.marvel, and we get her? Boy, Capcom is really going for the unsung heroes. I just pray she doesn't play like wolverine.

That's how I feel too. X-23 is one of the LAST characters I would have picked. I would have chosen almost the entire cast of X-men over her... and they are, in fact, more deserved, original, and diverse. I mean, she's a total Wolverine clone. Literally. She was created for the X-men: Evolution cartoon series from a few years ago.

I'll go ahead and say it, though I don't want to, but the roster has disappointed the hell out of me. They confirm that Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Phoenix Wright, The Fantastic Four, Dr. Strange, Punisher, or any characters from Godhand aren't going to be in the game, and yet we have X-23 in there, female Dante-clone Trish, C-listers like Dormammu and Super Skrull, and the adequate additions of Chris Redfield and Tron.

I hope to high heaven we get some classics, like Arthur from Ghosts & Goblins, the original Bionic Commando hero (no wife arm), or even Regina from Dino Crisis. And I hope Marvel gives us a character worth a damn, like Nova, Elektra, Iron Fist, Thanos, or Ms. Marvel. Right now, it seems like all Marvel is doing is pushing their newer, obscure characters rather than appealing to fan-favorites and nostalgic classics, which, considering how much smaller this roster is compared to MvC2, I think most people would gladly prefer a childhood favorite over a rookie new lady Wolverine. I mean, they couldn't have done Lady Deathstrike at least instead? No?

Well, I don't think I'm disappointed for quite the same reasons as you. Honestly, if X-23 was changed into Elecktra and her move-set was still used for Elecktra; no one would care. So far I only see people upset over aesthetics, which in my opinion, are inconsequential to a fighting game. Gameplay will always-and should always- precede appearance. Yeah, I'm disappointed about her "look" but that doesn't mean she won't have interesting gameplay potential. Trish, Dormammu, and Skrull are actually three of the most interesting characters I've seen so far. At first I really didn't think their inclusions were warranted, but after seeing how they played; I can't imagine them being replaced.

So I'll have to just wait and see how she handles before I reach a final verdict. But as of now I'm still bummed.

It's a shame I'm more excited about Super Street Fighter 4's DLC than I am for MvsC3. The impact of all 20 MvsC character reveals combined couldn't rival the joy I felt when I saw Yun and Yang revealed in the new Arcade Trailer today.
