Now, normally I wouldn't defend how I look. I'd normally just say "stfu" and move on, but I'll do it this once.

Have to? It's just the way some of us, ALOT of black folks look.

It's okay if you don't like the pictures, but it's not okay to generalize like that. THAT's the mentality that got me arrested. Just because I look a certain way(I was going to work mind you, so I wasn't even "dressed like a thug" at the time.). So, some asshat thought it was "the right thing to do" to generalize my appearance with the police, and go as far as to "confirm that he saw me" , instead of actually trying the find the idiots who actually stole from him. He just needed to blame....somebody. Not even considering that none of the items stolen from him, were anywhere near me.

We all ended up wasting a bunch of time on nothing, and they had to release me (and my car)a few hours later. After of course, finding out what I told them was the truth. Which was of course, that I never steal anything, I hate a ruthless thief, and most importantly, that any record they wanted to look into about ME? Is cleaner than any of theirs. Criminal record, Driving record, or otherwise....There's nothing there. I've never gotten a speeding ticket, and I'm 26 now. At the time, I was about 23 yrs old.

Now, to be honest, I wasn't pissed off in either picture. I was drinking in the red hoodie picture, and I was siting down, and looking up at the camera in the other picture.

Besides that? Darker colors are more scary? lol. Genetics maybe? If you were insistent on making a generalization, a better one would be to say that "people with aggressive facial features are more likely to take, or end up in a picture like the ones I take."

See? Because it's not gender, or race specific. Look at some of these rock band members out here....(I have no idea who they are, but they're taking a similar picture to mine. AND their music artists like I am. Just a different genre.)...."White people" do the same shit, you all just get away with it without the scrutinies from racisms generalizations....

Like I was saying, it's cool if just don't like the picture. But if you don't like that it's a black person taking that picture....there's something wrong with your perception of black people.

You either don't know better, or you're scared of black people on some level. That's what I've found that it boils down to.

ex1: You don't understand the "hood mentality". Don't like it, or whatever..

or,

ex2: You don't like dark colors. Especially on people.
